I am a local contractor and shop here whenever I am working in the area. The staff are always quick to help find things and pull orders quickly. This is important when you are picking up materials to finish a job and don't want to waste time. The staff is also willing to help the diyer with whatever info they can provide with products or information on projects.

All of their staff are polite. Great place to get Anything necessary to complete a job. Will continue to use them

Dropped off a couple boxes for shipping via UPS. It was quick and easy. Years ago I purchased most of the lumber and hardware for my house here. Great customer service!

Thus is he way a lumber yard should be run. No need for a "Pro Desk". No pushing an overloaded cart around the store and then into a crowded parking lot to load into your truck. Tell the person what you need, get loading ticket, take your truck to the yard, and you and a yard man load up your order. Simple and efficient.

Their prices are competitive the service is very good, people are very knowledgeable. If you are tired of dealing with the nonsense at the big chain Home Improvement stores, go to Moore. Also they have the best selection of fasteners, and odd stuff to fix just about anything. No one else has the same selection

The paint guy super knew their stuff. I am proud that we have a local hardware place such as Moore's kicking about to help with projects big & small. Cheers!

Do you want the most unsettling shopping experience in the quaint setting of a local hardware store? Look no further than Moore Lumber & Hardware Company's miserable staff behind the counter. Their special blend of arrogance and unwholesome attitudes has been curating since before the pandemic. They're sure to leave you with that feeling like you're not welcome. Don't fret, fellow retail shopper, it's not just you they don't like; they have disdain for anyone who isn't a contractor. Take your business a little further down the street to the Aubochon. You know, the one. It's the actual local hardware store that wants your business. I'm all about local businesses, I will not give money to Amazon or big box stores. But I'd rather buy my overpriced lumber from Lowes or Home Depot before I shop here again.

I was very pleased with my visit here. I had to buy some paint today, and wasn't sure what kind to get for particular reasons. Staff was very nice and the employee helping me choose the right paint, was very knowledgeable and explained why it was best for my needs, and how it differs from other brands. Great salesman! I never caught his name, older gentleman with a friendly disposition. The store was clean and well put together. I needed a couple of other things and had no trouble finding them at all. Masks are required and employees at counters are behind clear partitions. I will return in the future. :)

Horrible service! I had called to ask about their UPS shipping service and even asked the guy if they had UPS Envelopes. He told me they did. I get all the way there just to find out he was completely wrong! He even refused to take my documents that needed to be dropped off! The guy had a real bad attitude and hung up on me when I called to speak to his boss. Such a waste of my time!

They are always helpful when I have questions or if I'm looking for something in particular. Because my son is obsessed with tools, often he'll run down an aisle and pick something up to look at. They are always nice to him and wave "hi". The only think that can be inconvenient is they close at 5 on weekdays and at one on Saturdays. I do understand that they make their hours according to what they can handle, but I often go to Aubuchon Hardware down the road because they are open much later.

Moore's is a great to do business with! Good quality materials and supplies, knowledgeable staff, fair prices. The rental company is top notch with a good fleet of equipment.

Rent all types of equipment all the time. If you treat it right, they'll treat you right. Good people and helpful staff.

A package to my wife's business in Newton went astray and they were nice enough to look up her address and give her a call--a small-town caring that you don't find so often today. We appreciated that extra effort at doing the right thing.

Can here recently to pick up some tools and wander into their "rental section" was happy to find they have all sorts of equipment available for rentals. The rentals appear to be separated into 4 hour of 24 hour rental periods (I assume you can rent for a few days)

Picked up an extremely powerful leaf blower for a little over $20 for 4 hours. When pulling around they demonstrated how to use it and gave me a can of some extra gas.

Was very happy with the rental and the store has a pretty good selection of general items you'd typically find at a hardware store. Beats driving 20-30 minutes to the closest Home Depot or Lowes if you forgot a small item or need something quick
