Teo and his guy did a great job on the excavation/ grading of our new home! We would definitely recommend to others!!
Tio has done a couple of jobs for me and my family members and we were pretty satisfied with the results.
Now I must tell you. Tio did a reroof on my home, we built at that time, 25 years ago. This was the third roof on they home due to hail damage.
First off, the singles that was delivered were not the brand we requested. These singles were about 10-15% larger than the shingles being torn off. Now part of the home had been torn off and shingles were being installed. When I pointed out the problem he said that he could send them back and get the correct ones but it would delay the job and since part was completed I agreed to allow the usage of these. (First mistake) Well, when the job was almost complete Tio came to me and said he needed 8 more squares of shingles to complete the job so I said ok. The next day the job was completed and Tio was paid in full. There were a few bundles left over which Tio picked up. A month or so later we had some high winds and one of the ridge vents, which was installed blew loose. I called Tio and he and another came over and re fastened it down. Then a few weeks later a repeat of the same vent. Again Tio came and spent some time on the roof. Evident that there was a problem he continued until he was done.
Now I went into the attic an looked. I found that when the opening was cut it was overcut and he had shot larger and longer nails at an angle to catch the plywood. Time passes and one day it is raining and leaking into the wall around my fireplace. I made an inspection under my home to find water damage and rot. I called Tio and he came out to look. Needless to say he sent me an estimate to repair the bottom 4 1/2 feet of my chimney. His estimate did not cover all of the damage. I had another company come out, look and estimate the total repair. Tio’s estimate of a little over $5100.00 for part of the repair an the other company at over $13,000.00 for the full repair. I discussed this with Tio on several occasions only to have him block my phone number.
Suing him would be like trying to get blood out of a Turnip. Tio had contracted my job out to a group of 7 Mexicans. I did not say anything about the damage that was done to the Western Cedar siding in three separate areas. Pictures are available of all damage.
Now would you expect me to recommend Tio and his “Molot Construction Company. I hope not.

Teo has responded but his details are mostly incorrect. My home had a cricket on my roof at the time we built our home. The damage to the siding was done when the singles were torn off recklessly by the workers. A ridge vent system was installed by his workers. They over cut the ridge and could not nail the vent properly so it came loose twice and Teo was called to make the repairs. Teo was called later to look at my chimney where water was coming into a wall. The cause, when the shingles were torn off and the siding and flashing were damaged. Teo’s remedy was to cut and nail a board over the damage. The 6 inch was nailed on with three boards which warped and channeled water down behind and into the area of damage making the situation worse.
I now have had the repair to the roof and chimney made and so far no problem. As for the ridge vent being loose, I guess time will tell.
