As a homeowner in the NorthEast, I was very impressed with the staff at Best Buy Metals, including their helpful attitudes, patience, and depth of knowledge in their products. I walked Garrett, the sales technician through my requirements, (a small job by comparison to most) and he handled my questions effortlessly, guiding me through a detailed Parts List for the project. I am glad Garrett spent the extra time; as I would surely have forgotten to request some parts, such as Butyl tape; closure strips and extra screws.

I wish I had more metal roof projects, because Best Buy Metals is the first call I would make. Thanks !!

I had a great experience with James Rodriguez. He took my rough drafts (before I even had drawings or approved designs from the city) and drew them all out. He gave me good advice, and helped me choose the best metal (I ended up with higher wind resistance hidden fastner panels) for my roof, and appropiate siding. I became a little lost with all the parts needed, but he pulled out all the pieces for me. Very helpful, I'd reccomend them.

Really enjoyed working with Brant on my project. Best Buy Metals pricing seemed very affordable compared to other places I looked. Lead time for delivery after the order was placed was a bit longer than expected for my particular product, but 5 weeks is not unreasonable for a construction project. All in all super happy with how my metal roof turned out and coordinated with my shingle color.

Best Buy Metal provided me with quick response on their product and sent the necessary samples to evaluate their product. The cost of the material is comparable to a higher end shingle, but will provide a longer life roof. The cost of the metal shingle over the asphalt one was only $4,000 for our roof. In our case, we couldn't find an installer to place the material on the roof at a reasonable cost (in one case the estimate was triple the cost). To us it appears that since the product will last 2x the typical asphalt shingle, the installers charge 3-4 times the material cost to install. Unfortunately, I chose to install an asphalt shingle.

I purchased a panel cutter from best buy metals 6 months ago for future jobs coming up. When I went to use it the battery failed and would not charge. I called best buy metals and was directed to James Rodriguez. He then took care of the problem and replaced the panel cutter kit. He was fast and very knowledgeable, I will be purchasing more tools and supplies from this company.

The staff walks you through what all is needed, is patient with the iterations in the design and has timely response and cost estimates. After the order, the manufacturing turnaround is quick and cross-country delivery is surprisingly fast
