Modern Roof

Process was seamless. Workmanship wonderful. Installation took one day and the crew were polite, professional and hard working. Alex was great to work with also. The finished product looks great, cleanup was thorough and job well done. We are very pleased with the entire experience. To start, I requested service on May 21st. As of today, July 19th, I just had my project finished of a small spot repair on my roof from a satellite dish and replacing some facia and soffit in that same area. Once Alex, the sales rep, came out to take a look he told me he would get me a quote in a day or 2. I didn’t hear back from him for almost 2 weeks. When I finally received the quote, I foolishly agreed to it and then it was another week and a half before they sent a contact over which I signed next day. I then receive a message from them asking me to sign the contract (again, I signed it practically immediately) and informed them that I signed it already. Another week or so goes by and Alex reaches out to tell me they need half the cost up front for materials.
Not uncommon, no problem. Alex came out to grab a shingle sample to match it and said “we’re probably about a week out”
I waited another 2 weeks or so, having not heard anything and I needed to be the one to reach out to Alex and ask when I’m scheduled.
Between the 2 visits, it was an 8 hour days worth of work that took 2 months to get done with absolutely no communication from the office or the sales rep, Alex.
I was in the shower this morning, heard a banging noise and thought someone may have been trying to break into my house because nobody told me the carpenters were coming today. Come 4pm today they pack up to leave, but not without leaving insulation, trash from a birds nest, nails and staples throughout their work area in my yard that I just went on my hands and knees to pickup so my dog won’t get injured or eat something he shouldn’t.
The fact they have no professional courtesy for the customer, lack basic communication and have no issue leaving a mess that was not there when they started, I will not use them again and will not refer anybody to them.
My opinion, call a more reputable company.

I had Modern Roofing install my new roof and couldn’t be happier. I have had bad luck in the past with another company over promising and under delivering. These guys did exactly what they said they would do. They didn’t pressure me into highest dollar product they had. Scott listened to my needs and educated me on the options.

Scott and the team at Modern roof have been great to work with. They do both pitched/shingled, and flat roofs. We recently had 5 residential and/or commercial buildings with completely new roofs. They did the work for the insurance quote and were very professional. I would recommend them to anyone in need of a roof or roof repair and will use them again.

Modern Roof did a TERRIFIC job at my house! Done all at once with absolutely NO mess left behind. I came home for lunch during the job, and the workers were friendly and smiling. One guy came down off the roof to escort me in and out just to make sure I didn't step on anything. I am thoroughly impressed! Price was right, too, and my house looks LOVELY!

They told me my roof is damaged and my insurance agent warned me that they were not a local contractor and were just trying to sell me a roof. Now the insurance adjuster showed me that my roof is fine and I will lose a discount on my insurance. Completely dissatisfied.

Very pleased. Came for estimate when they said they would and got me the estimate the next day. The repairman came the same day and did the repair within a few hours of my approval of the estimate. I would highly recommend this company!

Thanks guys for the Outstanding job not only did you do a great job On putting the roof on along with a well organized crew , the job and clean up well under what all those other places on face book charged with same product same warranty same everything only $20,000 cheaper and there’s no way can you tell . Please keep doing what your doing . And thank you for not doing what everyone else is doing everyone has been affected by inflation I’m just glad you guys weren’t beyond what people can pay and I didn’t have to Morgan my home

They arrived on the day they said
they would, On time and they continued doing the work until they were finished , the very same day.

I'm very pleased with the work they did, It looks fabulous and I know I am covered under their warranty for a long time.
They did an excellent job of clean up after the job was done, Even using Magnets to pick up all the nails. I am a happy customer.

Very responsive to questions. The crew moved everything before they started so that it wouldn't get damaged, and then moved everything back afterwards. Haven't found one nail in the yard or flower beds! Tear-off and install completed in half of a day! A+++ Would highly recommend!

After months of struggling to get a new roof that turned into a nightmare …. I found Modern Roof and it completely changed my roofing experience! We got high quality materials for a very fair price and our customer service rep Brian was awesome!! Less than a week after contacting the company we had a brand new roof! Old roof was off and new on in one day and the crew actually left my yard looking nicer than when they arrived. No hidden costs .. Friendly and knowledgeable. Had to have the roof replaced on a mobile home. It is very difficult to find anyone willing to work on a mobile home but Modern Roofing did an amazing job. Fast tear-off and damaged decking replaced. New shingles were put on very quickly and the crew did a really great job cleaning up the area. Photos were taken and sent to me as the work progressed which I really appreciated.

Very very pleased!! The process was extremely easy and stress free. John was very responsive and answered all my questions. There was zero pressure unlike other companies I met with. Their ability to create an estimate without doing a big sales pitch was wonderful. I received a packet of all the available options and pricing specific to our house. The estimate was exactly what the final price came to, no surprises.
