DC Roofing replaced our roof about 5 years ago. That was a wonderful experience … I won’t repeat all the other glowing reviews … they speak for themselves and I couldn’t agree more. What I want to post about is a recent experience, five years after the roof installation. I noticed a shadow on my ceiling that eventually became recognizable as water damage. I called DC and Donnie came out within a few days. He looked at my ceiling and we discussed it. Then he climbed up into my attic, belly-crawled twenty feet across rafters and blown-in insulation to the ceiling damage area (belly crawled because there’s only about two feet of clearance between ceiling and roof in that area, and found that the wet spot on the ceiling was coming from a broken toilet vent pipe. Nothing to do with the roof. He took pictures and a video while he was up there for me to share with my plumber. THAT is service above and beyond !!!! How many other roofers would have just gone up on the roof to do an inspection and said, “Sorry, nothing wrong with the roof”. How many other roofers would belly crawl across a crowded, dirty attic to find out what the problem really was? I only know of one and DC Roofing has earned my gratitude and admiration. Needless to say … highly recommended.

DC Roofing recently replaced the roof on my mom's home. The insurance adjuster initially said only a few shingles needed to be replaced. DC Roofing had replaced the roof on our son's house last year and he was very satisfied with the work, so we asked Danny to take a look at my mom's roof. He said the entire roof needed to be replaced due to storm damage and when the adjuster came out again, he concurred. Danny was extremely thorough in the report submitted to the insurance company - other than her deductible, my mom only paid $400 out of pocket since Danny was able to get just about everything paid by the insurance company. Everyone at DC Roofing who we talked with with was very professional, knowledgeable and pleasant. We were very impressed with how they kept us up to date on everything. When it came to tearing off the old roof, the workers were very careful to minimize any damage to the plants around the perimeter of the house (and there are a lot). There were a couple items in disrepair (fascia boards) that weren't due to storm damage, and the crew was able to replace them for a very reasonable cost. Over the course of having the old roof removed and the new one installed, Tom uploaded over 200 pictures on the link they set up for the job. The crew was very courteous to my mom when she would go outside to take a look, and were very patient answering her questions. Great job with cleanup, too. The copper installer was out a week later to complete the job. Everything looks perfect. Tonya helped shake the final insurance check loose. All in all, we're very happy with the work that DC Roofing did, and would highly recommend!

For a year I have fought with my HOA, insurance company, and siding company to replace/repair 6 pieces of siding on my home. Insurance co that I was with said I couldn’t put the existing pieces up (I had all the pieces), HOA said the pieces all had to match, but that required me to special order (and it’s been on back order). I decided to leave that insurance group and went to another. This insurance company was going to have to cancel me if the siding didn’t get put up in a week, understandably so. They said I could put the pieces back on. I previously had quotes from 2 VERY WELL KNOWN SIDING COMPANIES - one estimated $1800 and the other estimated $3000. Then I remembered, sometime since the siding fell off until now I met this incredible human Don Hancock. Donny owns DC Roofing and Exteriors. I text him today, he told me to call the office and have his assistant get my info, and I got a picture a few hours later of my siding back up. His prices are so affordable - but what is better is the heart on that man, the integrity and honesty he projects, and just being a person that conducts business in the manner that he does, with such professionalism. I can’t rave enough. He knew I was in a bind and he tended to my home immediately. You can’t get that treatment or service somewhere else, and you certainly can’t beat his prices. Please consider his team for any of your roofing or exterior needs. I will never let anyone else touch my property but Donny and his team!

From start to finish, this company has been a pleasure to work with. From the beginning when giving us the quote, dealing with insurance, having the siding put on the house, and sending out someone to repair a minor issue from the job, they were friendly, professional, and quick to respond. We just replaced our roof through DC Roofing & Exteriors. Based on my experience, here's what you can expect.

First, strong communication. Don (the owner) - and any vendors he recommended - were above and beyond in answering questions or calls quickly, even outside of business hours. When we met to choose our roof options, Don brought parts, using them to walk us through how each option would affect the roof's lifespan. Before the install, they provided clear expectations of both the timeline and the experience. During the install, they uploaded 148 pictures as the job progressed, including photos of landscaping protections, construction materials, and the roof itself.

Second, professionalism. Supervisor arrived early and prepped jobsite. Everyone - onsite and offsite - was friendly, polite, and accommodating. The team stripped an old roof, fixed underlying damage, re-nailed everything, and placed the new roofing down in one day. This is a well-organized contractor. The new roof looks great, and our yard and patio items are back exactly where they started.

Finally, honesty. Prices and recommendations were in-line with other quotes. When choosing warranty level work, they did not upsell me - simply explained options and let me choose. When hidden damage was found (we had a piece of damaged decking), they provided a photo and received permission before replacing. During install, they realized they had sold me something I didn't need (roof vents for bathrooms, which were already vented out the siding). They immediately apologized and removed it from the bill.

We had a very positive experience with DC roofing and exteriors. After a lot of trouble (over 2 years) of finding a reliable roofing contractor to replace our copper roofing damaged by hail, DC roofing was recommended to us. Don, the owner, himself came to start the estimate and gave us his number. He is probably the most responsive contractor I have ever had work with us. Communication was very easy (even on the weekend when we were running into issues). He helped with communicating with our insurance. We ran into some trouble from unexpected damage and his team took care of it all as best as they could. Smiley, in particular, was exceptional as far as how hard he worked and his attention to detail in making sure everything was done properly. The end result is that our copper panels are the best in the neighborhood. Recommend without hesitation.

DC Roofing replaced the roof on my elderly parents home in Center Grove. They worked with the insurance company to cover the total cost to make sure they didn't have to pay out of pocket. They did great work and cleaned up after the the job was done. You can't do better then DC Roofing. Highly recommend.

Honest companies like this are rare! I cannot say enough positive things about this company. They communicate, deal with your insurance, provide insight, and ensure quality work is completed. The owner was very involved in the process along with his sales associate. They fought with my insurance company on their original quote and ensured my roof was brought up to code (even when insurance did not want to pay it). You will immediately notice their attention to detail as they discussed multiple options for us before starting the job. As you can see, our roof is very choppy and is not easy to tackle. They somehow completed this roof in one day. No leaks and we have had a ton of rain since the job was completed. As other reviews stated, their quoted price stayed the same. They took over 100 pictures during the install that I can use for personal use or for insurance purposes. I got a full report on my roof line as well. I truly cannot recommend these guys enough. Honest, hardworking, genuine people - no sales pitches, no pressure - they ensure the job is handled to perfection. This is my exterior company from here on out! Like they said, I am now part of the DC Roofing family!

I was very impressed by how Don and his wife were on the job from start to finish. They took constant pictures of the progress being made on the roof that we could not see. The crew was very efficient and professional. They did an awesome job of cleaning up while being extra careful to not create damage to the yard. Don helped in the process and came back a fews days later with his wife to sweep our yard for nails. I enjoyed working with Don and appreciated his professionalism. I would recommend him and his company to anyone knowing that they will be well taken care of.

-AWFUL EXPERIENCE-
I call this company for siding repair and seems like they provide me with one of the laziest estimators, who took from 24-72 hrs. to answer a simple text, this guy never did the roof inspection as I asked him, he told me that we was going to email me the siding details which never happen. He took over 3 weeks just get me a hard quote, he told me that we was going to send me a link to make a payment which I'm glad that he never sent. I ended talking to the owner of this company hopping he was going to do something about it, but I was wrong, the owner did not anything to make things right, not even a simple apology. I asked the owner for an approx. lead time of when they could get the repair done and the owner just kept giving me poor excuses of why they could take months before doing job. Seems like they do business that way, saying that they can do something and doing something else. I was overcharged for doing a mediocre provisional repair of the siding.
There is plenty good companies out there that provides with professional assistance and do things the correct way for the right price.

Guys very professional. Had a dragged out battle with insurance and they were there fighting for everything I need. Will definitely use again. Highly recommend

We decided to have the siding on our house removed and new installed. We had many estimates for this project with many reviews and we went with DC Exteriors. This was a large job removing the old and installing 35 square of siding, they replaced the hidden boards that were bad we couldn't see until the old siding was removed. The crew was very professional and respectful to us and our property. I was very impressed
with when the project was finished the price they quoted didn't change, even though they had unexpected challenges to finish this they held true to the price.
I highly recommend this company and I will use them again for any future exterior work we need done.

Replaced my parents’ roof in 6 hours! Jacob is very professional and friendly. They had the roof replaced in no time and did a superior job making sure they cleaned everything out of the yard. These guys are incredibly easy to work with, provide a super high quality deliverable and this was the best roofing experience we’ve ever had, and we’ve done 3 roofs now as home owners. Donny walked us through every detail of the estimate, in person. Cassie was super helpful arranging the initial visit and project dates. The communication is seriously amazing, you get photos in real time as they do the work and they are in constant contact throughout the entire project. The 2 foreman were total professionals on site and checked every detail. We couldn’t be happier with the roof and they are doing our gutters next week! If you need a roof repair or a new roof, call them! It’s a no brainer. :)

Excellent contractor to work with. My experience was on a vinyl siding job that included new siding, soffits, facia and gutters. The siding was to be installed over the current T1-11 which is a common practice. DC wasn’t the cheapest quote out of the contractors I quoted, but they sold me when they recommended the replacement of some of the old T1-11 siding. I know enough to be dangerous when it comes to home improvement projects and if I could have done it myself, I would have. With that said, I am picky when it comes to who works on my house since I’m a bit of a perfectionist. DC was the only contractor that recommended the replacement of some of the original siding that was rotten. This gave me enough confidence to move forward with the siding project.

The team made quick work of removing around 20 sheets of rotten T1-11, which I confirmed was bad. Had the original siding been used, it wouldn’t have taken long for the nails to pull out. With my luck that would have happened past the first-year warranty. When they started installing the siding it looked amazing and the installer knew to work on the wall with the most sun first. Unfortunately, the product they were using began to swell and warp and looked terrible. This is where the rubber meets the road when it comes to making it right. DC removed the bad siding and replaced with an equally amazing looking siding on their dime. This behavior is what separates the boys from the men when it comes to taking care of the customer. Had I not gone through that experience with them I wouldn’t have been inspired to write a review. I can’t say enough about these guys, I would absolutely use them again.

We had a phenomenal experience with DC Roofing and Exteriors. We originally called into office and talked to Tina (what a sweet woman) about getting a tarp installed on our roof. She told us it would be within 24 hours that a salesman would contact us.

I think Danny the DC sales rep called us within 2 minutes of getting off the phone with Tina. From there the experience just showed how much these guys know.

Danny inspected our roof and took a lot of photos of hail and wind damage. When he was done with the inspection he informed us that we most definitely had a claim with our insurance. He let us know all the possibilities of what may happen through the process. At first we didn’t think it was going to be good. We had the insurance adjuster come to the house and he approved 8 shingles an some Mickey Mouse repairs for like $400 and told us it probably wasn’t worth filing the claim because it was less than our deductible. That is when Danny told us not to worry he would get it covered through spartan.

Long story short three months later our insurance paid for new roof, new gutters, and all new siding on our house with our claim totaling just over $37,000.

We were absolutely amazed and so very great full we chose DC. We highly recommend them and can not say enough great things
