The workers on the job did an excellent job. The clean up was immaculate. When the finished you could not tell they had been there. All of the staff were friendly. They followed up before and after with excellent customer service.

It took less than a week to go from talking to a salesman to having a new roof on my house! It looks good, and i have the peace of mind of no more leaks and a warranty that will out last me. The crew was quick and professional and got everything finished within normal working hours of one day.

If you need a good roof fast, these guys can get it done. They handled everything, all I had to do was sign the paperwork. Overall pleased with the result.

As a homeowner I am rxtraordinarily impressed with my new roof from Modern Exteriors. I needed a new roof because algae had been growing on my old roof due to overhanging trees. Ryan from Modern Exteriors brought samples of the shingles that they use. I bought the highest quality that they have. It has seven layers and is infused with copper so no algae or bacteria can make a home on it. When he handed me a shingle, It felt like it weighed a ton. It was so strong and durable.. He said they call this 100 year warranty. That means when I sell the house, the roof will still be under warranty for a very long time. The materials Arrived on the day before the job was to begin. The next morning, bright, and early there was a whole crew outside, and they knew exactly what they were doing. They seemed highly trained and highly skilled.. There are many nuances to roofing that I learned about and these GAF shingles and accoutrements cover them all to prevent water from leaking backwards. I am so pleased with the work these gentleman did. Not only that, but they used a metal magnet Plus, tarP to get all the nails up from the yard, so there would be no accidents for anyone in fact, I can’t even find a single nail in the yard. A gentleman by the name of Miguel came out the next day and went over a walk around inspection with me to be sure I was satisfied and he also gave me a wealth of information about roofs modern Exteriors are not the cheapest fly-by-night roofers in town. They are a solid business with an aim for the highest quality of craftsmanship and materials.It is refreshing to see I did not mind paying some extra dollars knowing that I have a lifetime guarantee on my roof..

Roofing was completely done in one day and looks great. The team arrived on site early, was very cooperative and able to adjust to incorporate scope that was not communicated to them. They also did well to ensure the areas surrounding the house were protected - the roofing team did an excellent job. Communication from the production manager leading up to and during the project was lacking. I would still recommend Modern Exteriors as workmanship was very well done, just be sure to review the full scope of work with the team on site and double check materials when they arrive.

Once I placed the order on a Friday for new roof they immediately got to work and was able to do the work that following Monday and got completely done Tuesday. It rained on Monday or they would have completed it then. The workers were very professional and did a great job cleaning g up afterwards. I did a walkthrough with them and was satisfied. Great company to deal with and do recommend.

Modern Exteriors did a fantastic job on replacing our roof. William (our initial contact representative) gave a very good presentation of who Modern Exteriors were, describing their master elite installers, explaining their liability insurance coverage and the warranty (50 year plus) of the materials and labor. The installers showed up on time and conducted the business as master elite installers. They were very respectful to our property (the gardens around our home). We could not be happier with the results.

The company that did my roof was Modern exterior they did a wonderful job the workers were polite respectful of my home I would recommend them to anybody and customer service was there when I needed them I have nothing bad to say about the company that's why I'm giving them a five star.

Recently had roof replaced by these guys. They were extremely professional, and made sure to put a tarp over my fiancé’s flower beds. I was worried about nails being in the yard because of my dogs, but they made sure to run magnets and clean up thoroughly. The job was done perfectly - the communication was on point throughout the entire process, and they have an amazing warranty. Will definitely refer people to them in the future. I had a great experience with Modern Exteriors. I originally got a roof inspection from them, and they found a small leak I didn’t even know was there. The roof was about 12 years old, so I decided to move forward with a full replacement.

Charlie and Ryan were there every step of the way—professional, respectful, and made the whole process smooth and stress-free. The new roof looks amazing, and I couldn’t be happier with the quality and service. Easily the best roof guys out there. Highly recommend!

The sales rep Larry made many promises and the company failed to live up to the promises that were made. First of all, the sales presentation went on for about four hours. I should have made them leave after two hours. The sales rep was not taking no for an answer when we declined to purchase the roof at the end of his very long presentation. I had my husband come out finally to tell him to leave. Unfortunately, it did not end at that point. We ended up caving and agreeing to purchase the roof after the price for the roof kept dropping lower and lower. Live and learn I guess.

Here is what was promised that was not delivered. Constant communication from the project manager throughout the project. That did not happen. The house was supposed to be completely covered with a tarp so that materials would not fall on the siding and that did not happen either. A dumpster was supposed to arrive early in the morning so that the shingles could be properly thrown out. That did not happen either. The dumpster arrived about three hours later and the roofers were just randomly pitching the old shingles off the roof onto a cloth below. If I wanted to leave the house I would do so at the risk of getting rid by an airborne shingle. There was supposed to be a walkthrough of the site at the end of the project before the crew left. Guess what? That did not happen either. We had been promised that they would not leave the jobsite until we were satisfied and completely happy and that did not happen. I called Charlie, the guy that I guess was the Project Manager and he said that he would be out the following day. I spoke to him the next morning and he asked me to DocuSign the paperwork before he even came out. I was also told during the sales pitch that the new roof was going to bring down the cost of my homeowners insurance by around 20%. What a joke. I checked with my homeowner’s insurance company and they knocked a whooping $26 off my annual bill. That is 1.5% off my annual invoice.

What about the product and the roofers? Well as far as we can tell the shingles are good. We had a pretty bad storm recently and there were no apparent issues. The roofers were good. They were efficient and polite. I had no issues with them.

I would absolutely not recommend this company. They had offered to come out and evaluate the condition and age of the roof for free and give me an idea of when my roof would need to be replaced. I should have never taken them up on this offer. My mistake. Don’t make the same mistake that I did.

The service installation was outstanding and performed professionally. Any errors observed were immediately corrected. This is indicative of a professional organization that puts their customers first. I would highly recommend Modern Exteriors if you are looking for the work to be done right the first time. Excellent management interface that stayed in constant contact during the entire process. Very happy with the outcome!!!

We had someone cold call us and asked if we wanted to have our roof checked out because they were "in the area". My husband said sure why not (first mistake). They came by, and went on suuuuper long sales pitch. Like over 2 hours. So long and I couldn't get rid of them. WTH.
They said we need a new roof right away, and they can offer us a "great deal" if we sign RIGHT NOW. Obviously I was not going to sign for a new roof without looking into this more. I'm not an idiot. Our roof is only 11 yrs old.
We had THREE other companies come out and check out the roof....and we literally need NO work done other than some mild cleaning! Like... not even a single shingle replaced. Our roof is in great shape and should last another 15+ years.
I'm just really amazed at the audacity of this company to say our roof "wouldn't last the summer" and trying to get us to sign for a 70k roof on the spot. Insane. I still can't believe the dishonesty and manipulation. Hours of my life wasted....but lesson learned.

The scheduling rep worked with my needs. The rep, Dan, that came to the house was awesome! He did such a great job that we bought on his first trip to the house. A friend stopped by at the end of the presentation and put Dan through all the questions and was impressed with the quality of materials being used. We wished that there was more communication before the installation regarding the steps of the installation and timing of dump truck and the workers arrival and wish there was communication after the roof completion to check on our satisfaction and advise us of timing of mold defogger, so that is why we could not give 5 stars. The craftsman ship looks great & the workers were friendly and completed the whole project in one day! Today a rep did schedule time to stop by, check on the work, and discuss our satisfaction.

We had a great experience. Bryan was great. The roofers did a good job and got done in one day. Our porch repair was well done also. We are very happy with the results.

By far one of the most unprofessional companies I’ve ever worked with. I should have been tipped off by the salesman’s foul language, but as a newish homeowner, I was convinced that I needed to move forward with them. From then on, everything was like pulling teeth. The project manager, though he tried, was extremely unhelpful. There were no before and after photos taken. There was a lack of post-install documentation, and info for the warranty was misfiled with manufacturer that took months to correct. At least the roof itself seems to be quality.

This was my first, and hopefully last, roof replacement, and Modern Exteriors made it incredibly easy. From start to finish, the process was smooth and professional. Their certifications and use of high-end shingles not only gave my house a great-looking finish but also qualified me for a nice discount on my homeowner’s insurance. Highly recommend!

Had an awesome experience with Modern Exteriors! Had my estimate and roof done within a week. John and Charlie were excellent to work with and addressed all my concerns in a timely manner. I would highly recommend them for any roofing needs.

We had someone come to examine our roof 2 weeks ago. They apparently HAD to come then because they were "In the area".

They check out the roof, and then.....oh my goodness. "Catastrophe! Replace this roof now! Your house is going to fill with water and mold! Replace immediately before it's too late!!"
They then went into a 2 hour long sales pitch (I wish I were exaggerating) and it was impossible to escape. Lots of technical jargon ("have you heard of this? no? what about this? oh well you MUST know this" "We are the best, the other companies are rubbish they use poor quality products, we are just the top of the roofing industry, only the best, etc etc).

It finished with him calling the office...and whattaya know! They can bring down the price AND offer 18months financing if you book now! But it has to be right now. So make this decision to spend 50k on a new roof right this instant....what's the big deal? Just sign on the line! We can't send you the info, you have to sign now!

(spoiler alert....we don't need a new roof)

They literally use every sales tactic in the book. Compliments, charming, making you fearful your roof is about to cave in and cost your everything, but don't worry they are the hero to save it all. AND can offer you this "amazing discount" today only.

It's worse than a timeshare pitch. With a timeshare pitch you can at least walk out.

Please don't sign a contract for tens of thousands of dollars without doing your due diligence and getting multiple quotes (and even inspections on whether you actually need a new roof) and doing your own research. There is absolutely no reason to sign a contract for a 50k job on the spot. Don't fall for the fear mongering and charm. That is all.

Modern Exteriors did an excellent job of installing our new roof and it was completed in a day. Charlie was professional and answered all of my questions.

In early May one of their reps came out and inspected my roof. They did a great job showing me the problem areas and explaining what could happen if not addressed sooner then later. So my wife and I decided to go ahead with getting the roof replaced. They came out the next week and got the job done. Over all we were pretty happy it looked good. That was until we had some heavy rain.

We had a leak coming out of our ceiling in our kitchen. This cause me to start looking up on the roof to see if i could see what was causing it. I saw some damage to the vinyl siding and chaneI didnt look right. I called them up sent them some picture and they assured me they would take care of it. They came out next day fixed another issue that had developed along with what we thought was the leak. They said it was the window and caulked it up along with the damaged siding saying they would have to replace the broken section.

About a week later more rain and at the same spot more water came in the kitchen. Sent message to the project Manger with some pictures. So back up the roof this time with my neighbor who is a contractor. Found a problematic section in the corner. Despite not hearing anything back a crew was out the next day. More caulk and assurance that the damaged siding will be replaced.

As of writing this the siding hasn't replaced. No date or update has been given. Over all I can't say I'm really happy with how this has turned out. They did good job fixing one major issue that wasn't 100% their fault and the just caulked the rest.

We were contacted by Modern Exteriors and told that they were “doing work in the area” and would be able to schedule a free estimate. We decided to take them up on that offer. The salesman immediately pointed out a million things wrong with our roof and proceeded to use every sales tactic in the book to try to get us to work with them. The total pitch lasted for several hours and I felt like I was being held hostage in my own home. Not once did he provide me with a formal quote and kept telling me he could lower the price with various “discounts”. The pitch was officially dead when the salesman called his “guy from the office” to see if he could get us a better deal… the lack of professionalism was astounding at this point. The man from the office was put on speaker phone and dramatically claimed to us that “water was pouring in from our roof” based on the photos the salesman took and suggested we schedule them to come out immediately to replace our roof. Mind you there was NO water remotely “pouring in” as he suggested. He was extremely short with me when I firmly told him we were not making any final decisions today. This company uses every sales tactic in the book hoping you make a high pressure decision the same day of their pitch. They are very suspicious and I would advise anyone to proceed with an abundance of caution.

I needed a new roof and they made the process very easy. Kenny is absolutely AMAZING! She was instrumental in the process and made sure I received high quality work and materials with a payment plan that worked for me. My roof looks amazing and I couldn’t be happier!

Representative was very thorough in his inspection of my roof, making us aware of problems of which we were not aware. This most likely allowed us to avoid additional damage due to imminent leaks.

The installation team was very good. It arrived promptly early enough to finish the new roof installation by the end of the day. I pointed out some concerns I had, which the install team promptly addressed as part of the process of laying the new roof.

The team included 1-2 men whose job it was to clean up the old roofing materials and to “sweep” the area for nails that had fallen into the grass and driveway.

Another project manager came for a walkthrough and final inspection of the job. He was very thorough and was responsive to those areas where I expressed concern during the job.

I was very pleased with Modern Exteriors and the new roof. We feel we made a good decision in choosing the company and its total GAF roofing system.

Can't speak toward the quality of the roof they do but seems fishy. Their rep showed me photos of what now seems to be not my house, agreed to send me them and never did, and has ghosted me since the weekend, including a request to go over what he found with my insurance. I guess if they don't sucker you in on the first visit, they don't want your business.

Great Job on the roof. Customer service and support was excellent! My only complaint would be the dumpster was in my driveway for a week and I found a very large group of nails on my lawn.

To say I was pleasantly surprised with the installation of my new roof is an understatement. I was very impressed with the various materials used. The gentlemen doing the install were very courteous. We had an appointment and they never called to verify and every time we called no one ever picked up. The one time they did pick up we said hello and they hung up the phone right away. Showed up supposedly at the house and didn’t answer the phone after that.

Yesterday we had our roof inspected by an inspector, Larry B. from Modern Exteriors.

Larry is knowledgeable and took all the time needed to explain to me thoroughly and completely the reasons why the roof is so important, how their system works, and worked with me on budget, even discussing the details of a payment so that we could started.

I can' not enough wonderful things about Larry. His knowledge about the roofing process, and his patience in answering all of my questions, and with my children's unyielding questions was refreshing, making the inspection process pleasant.

My wife requested an estimate for a new roof, instead we ended up with a sales pitch that lasted over an hour on a Friday night - no thanks. I ended the pitch and the rep wouldn't provide the quote and left angry. Felt like a hostage in my own house. Not impressed.

Spammy company that cold calls using the "we've got someone on your street" line. Wouldn't say which of my neighbor's homes they're working on and I could clearly see they weren't "on my street."

I prefer companies that honor the do not call registry, don't spoof local phone numbers and don't try to insult my intelligence.

We worked with reps Ryan & Sean who were great! They took the time to explain every step of the roofing process and were very transparent about the application and approval process...even getting us down to a manageable monthly bill that fit our financial needs...exemplary customer service. By the time we were done, it's like we were old friends. These two guys were TOP NOTCH! The installation was quick, they came within 4 days to install and was done the same day. The installers were great, didn't bother me as I work from home. Cleaned up thoroughly, it was like they had not even been there. They EVEN fixed a loose shutter as a courtesy. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this company. We now have a beautiful, leak-proof, lifetime warranty roof. Thanks Ryan, Sean and Charlie, you guys are the BEST!

I was having problems with my roof. These guys stop by to offer roof inspections right on time. Something I hadn’t experienced with previous company. They went up in my attic and spotted mole. From the leaks. The service was fast and efficient. They set a date and come with in a week from inspection to replace my roof. The roof is beautiful and they left my property spotless..Charlie and Dave are super professional and very nice. I highly recommend this company for all your roofing needs.

I had them come out and do the insection (Mathew Smith nice guy)which was more thorough than the home owners inspection. I was able to schedule the install just days after they came out to inspect. Good thing because they were able to replace wood that was starting to rott. They use top teir products much better than builder grade. Charles was my contact for installation and follow up. Kept in contact with me before and after the install was completed. Great job guys thank you so much!

Ryan was a super personable guy, came out and wasted no time with the inspection. Luckily he didn’t find any problems, but he gave me the breakdown on what to look out for, and how long I have before I’ll probably need a repair/ new roof.
