Asked for an estimate on some siding repair. It would require about 4 sheets of vinyl siding costing less than $30 at menards. The same siding as the rest of the house. Probably an hour or two worth of work. This was assessed at over $3000 dollars. Same job was assessed at $200 from another company.

From inspection, to scheduling, to completion, they were fast and efficient. They kept communication strong through every process. One day to complete the work. One day. Yard was cleaned up like it never happened. Workmanship was excellent. Although, it may have had something to do with the Gatorade I left for the crew.

I recently had Modern Exterior replace a skylight in my condo. Every part of my installation from the estimate to the completion was amazing and professional. Barry my Sales person explained everything perfectly. I got 3 estimates and Modern Exterior beat all the estimates by $300.00. Once I signed the contract the new skylight was installed in 2 weeks. This company has values. In today’s world that should be enough for you to stop reading and book them. It’s rare to find a contractor that keeps its word, is up front, comes out to bid on time even though we are on the edge of their service, meets all deadlines, and has fair pricing. They have a mission statement and a backstory that they will be great and provide a different experience for the customer and they deliver 100%.

I made over 45 calls to find a crew that could repair our home after some wind damage. Some thought our project was too small. Some ghosted after quoting. Some made fair bids for parts of the job. Some had lower prices but did not inspire confidence. Some couldn’t get to it fast enough. Only modern exterior roofing was comprehensive and acted like they gave a damn from the start.

Modern Exterior replaced 6 windows in our condo. Five of the windows were in our dining room. They also replaced the aluminum siding trim around the dining room windows which had areas where the paint was peeling off the siding.

Everyone I have worked with has been prompt, professional, and gone above and beyond to be helpful. The workers that came out to do the roof pushed through mid 90 degree temperatures to complete the job same day and it looks fantastic. The clean up after the job was completed was . Charlie is wonderful to deal with in guiding you and educating you on the materials they use and why they are excellent. He also has been helping me with handling the insurance claim after the terrible hail storm due to the adjuster not being so wonderful about the damages.

Very good experience! The job was finished in 5 hrs. The yard was cleaned as though they were never here. There price was reasonable and I highly recommend them. Thanks modern.

They did two types of roof and a complete gutter system. Looks very sharp. Immaculate clean up. And Ma Nature even tested it since with some severe downpours and stiff 50 mph wind with no issue. I'm confident there will be none but they have a great warranty as well.

Needed a new roof - Modern Exterior (ME) was professional and polite - reasonably priced and the work was high quality. There was a minor issue with a little blame going to both us and ME and they were super quick and professional to come back out and make the correction. (Same day as phone call). Would definitely recommend them to friends and neighbors if asked. And Haylee was super to work with FYI.

We obtained 3 quotes for soffit/fascia replacement. This was the best cost and A+ rated by the BBB. Excellent job! Easy to work with from quote phase to completion.

Quick turn around from quote to scheduled. We went with modern exterior for our roof in 2022 and again in 2025 when a different roof had a failure. When they came out in 2025 we had them look at some shingles from the first install (a difficult peak on the roof) and they replaced the whole section no question.

Very happy with the work and standing by their warranty.

Modern Exterior exceeded all expectations and made my project a success. Every other company rejected my project due to its limited scope but Modern Exterior took on this necessary task for me without a problem. On assessing the chimney leak, the Modern Exterior rep did a nice job explaining the problem and the repair process. The crew came out according to my scheduling needs and got the job done without any surprises.

We used Angi's and had 4 quotes to have our roof replaced. Modern Exterior reached out to us quickly to schedule an appointment and provide an estimate with competitive pricing. From start to finish, communication was excellent. Two weeks later, with very hard, professional and respectful workers, our roof was completed. My nextdoor neighbor told me later that some materials ended up in his yard and without saying anything, they quickly picked them up. Another neighbor stopped by to say what hard worker they were and was impressed on the replacement process. Thank you Modern Exterior!

Do not recommend. The individual sent to assess my roof issues seemed knowledgeable and decisive, and provided what seemed like a reasonable estimate. This included leveling a balcony that had water puddling in it and seeping through to the hallway and bathroom below in big rain events. Seeping seems to have been corrected, but it was not leveled, so water is still puddling. When I brought this to their attention, the same individual said there was nothing they could do about. Pressed further about this being unacceptable, given the original work bud, they said “sorry.” A separate project including fascia repair was also unsatisfactory, with the fascia boards not aligned. Again I was told nothing could be done about it. Furthermore, they left a large number of screws and nails strewn about the work area. See pictures. Definitely will not use again.

Chase was very good with working with time line. Fred, Tyler, Miguel, Jay and the crews that where on-site did an awsome job. We found a couple issue and they came back a couple times until i was happy. We did have an issue with how our AC unit box was reattached. Called Chase and we had a solution and fix within a couple of days.

Modern Exterior is a truly professional company. Tyler was pretty straight forward and clear in his description of how my new flat roof would be laid out. He explained the difference in materials, techniques and prices that I could choose from. They were fast and provided me with abundant understanding and peace of mind every step of the way. I couldn't be happier with the results.
