When i first met them shortly after the tornado hit our town and they rushed in to “help”. They asked me to sign a form before they could begin their “free inspection”. They were communicating with me at first. But after two weeks of no progress they began dodging my questions about how much all the work might cost. They never sent a written report to my insurance and then threatened me that i signed a “contract” so i should be careful, when i decided to go with another contractor. Imagine my surprise when they sent me a bill for 6500.00 dollars, that actually has clear lies on it. That i can actually prove. They claimed they did 1400 dollars worth of tarping. When 2 other contractors and my adjuster i spoke to said it was 500$ worth of tarping at best. They also claimed it was emergency tarping. When they are the ones that showed up at my door soliciting me. Your experience may be different with them, if you don’t care how much is being charged to your insurance and your rates could go up. This company left a flyer on my door by somone named Oscar. This door is also marked with a no soliciting sign. The door flyer claimed they saw visible signs of missing shingles, raised shingles, hail impact, lifted siding, and holes or cracks in the siding. These signs of damage are absolutely false and in my personal opinion is close to committing fraud. This tactic of inspection by Oscar is lazy at best. Because of this, I will never use this company or recommend them to anyone to ever use.

I was surprised and dismayed to realize the shingles I was picking up were from my roof! My neighbor pointed out what looked like bare wood showing on the ridges. It was a Friday night at 6 pm and it was going to rain! I called my neighbor, owner of Modern Construction. He sent a crew over to tarp it at 8 pm. From that point on they dealt with everything.. insurance etc.
My project manager, Frank was always available. He was courteous and professional. The crew did an excellent job replacing the roof. My only complaint was the cleanup! Overall a success with minimal hassle!
I also want to mention the office staff especially Ali. She stayed on top of all the paperwork and the requests. She was always respectful and professional.

I recently hired David to repair my roof and replace the gutters, and I couldn't be more satisfied with his work. From the initial consultation to the final inspection, David was professional, punctual, and highly knowledgeable. He took the time to explain the necessary repairs in detail and provided a fair and transparent quote.

Octavio from MCS did a fantastic job helping us when our insurance tried to deny the hail dmg claim at first. He was with us every step for the appeal and then the team did a wonderful job on the repairs. They also cleaned up everything after and I would definitely work with them again on future projects. The roof looks beautiful and we are very happy with everything.

Modern construction did a great job on my house many times they avoid to pay but this people come by with a lot knowledge and make my dream come true there’s many things I can say about this company i definitely recommend it and frank the sales he is a real master thanks to help us .

We shop local when possible and I cannot recommend these guys enough! Amazing customer service and they were very hands on in dealing with our entire homeowner’s claim process. Our roof looks fantastic! Definitely will hire again when we need contractors for any other part of the house since they’re reasonably priced and a pleasure to work with.

David and Edith were amazing to work with. We had a baseball size hail come through town and David was out the very next day doing free estimates.
He came the day after and did a temporary repair so we wouldn't get any water damage.
We got insurance to come out and they worked with insurance and got what we needed then started the very next week.
Hail storm was on May 6th and completed May 26th. We added some things otherwise it would have been done even eariler!

We highly recommend this company!
And they have a drone for some amazing pictures of the roof progress and completion!
