Got rudely woken up this morning by a construction company tearing up pavement next door at 7 a.m.
Why do they have to start so early with the high powered equipment??!!
To make it worse the "head guy" wasn't even apologizing, all he said was " I have bills to pay, what am I supposed to do start at 10:30?"
Also had to talk my youngest, who is autistic ,out of a meltdown due to it as he was getting ready for his day program ☹️

They gave a decent estimate in mid May for a paving job. After "Frenchie" agreeed to do the job thereafter, we waited, and waited. Then came the call from his "secretary" : owner in hospital for serious condition; can't do the job. We asked to be contacted by owner, who explained " why should I do a small job like yours when I can make real money". I said I could wait a little bit ( no mention of medical problem). Fine. I called him in mid July. Owner said he is "to busy", He said "call someone else to do the job". Little chance of that in the middle of July (we're talking about paving here). Bottom line: "Frenchie not a good guy to do business with unless there is real money in it for him".

Some updates on review I wrote few months ago, it got less noisy now. Not sure what happened, but I hear less those
"Bam! Bam!" loud noises with their loading trucks or something early mornings and day time. I'm sure neighbors are enjoying the quiet surrounding now. I see people leaving positive comments here and I'm sure these guys doing their job well.

We looked around for recommendations and spoke to other trusted building contractors in our area. These guys are pros! It was a bit tough getting the job scheduled because they are very much in demand. Plus, the weather has been an obstacle. But, Frenchie and his crew showed up and did a fantastic job! The price was better than expected and the work was meticulous! Great attention to detail and they left the yard in great shape.
