Mitchell General Contracting

Quality of work was horrible. Repaired and painted my deck. I don’t think they ever did anything like that because it is terrible work. The cut would doesn’t even match up in corners - big gaps. They screwed the uneven hand rails and didn’t sand off the splintered wood- just painted over it. They replaced the flooring on the upper deck and didn’t even nail or screw down the boards. The painting was atrocious and I could go on and on. Buyer beware.

I am very satisfied with the work that Mitchell General Contracting did for me. Not only were they experts in all aspects, i.e. carpentry, plumbing, painting, etc., they proved themselves to be efficient, conscientious, and utterly trustworthy. They were always on time, cleaned up after they were done each day, and offered suggestions for improvements I had not thought of myself that enhanced my home even further. I highly recommend them and will use them the next time I have a house project!

Sucks to rate them 1 star, as my house is less than a mile away from them, but I tried using the website for a quote and didn't hear anything. So I called and left a voicemail and still haven't heard from them. It's been over 2 weeks since I left a voicemail. They have an impressive website that states "We are equipped to do small home improvements..." I assume they must be too busy to even call and let someone know they are too busy to take on other jobs right now, or they just don't want to do any small home improvements. Not even a call or response at all seems like a lack of care for potential clients.
