Great job on the roof & gutters. They look great & we have had significant rain with no leaks. Very pleased. Still have nails & screws washing into my driveway from the rainwater washing them out of the grass so do a thorough check for nails & screws afterward to avoid a tire puncture. Would still recommend to anyone needing a new roof and/or gutters. Looks beautiful, price was right, workers are fast & efficient. Good job!

While Mike’s crew were fast and, apparently did good work, his communication is awful and no follow up on issues. Damaged siding and leaf guards. The crew also did a less than stellar cleanup job. I have had two nails in my tires since the work was done. While I believe they did a good job, and were able to get the job done promptly, attention to detail, communication, and follow up leaves something to be desired.

Mike was very professional and helpful on my new roof. He did an estimate which was fair and competitive with other contractors. He got the job done within 2 weeks of meeting him and I am satisfied with the new Roof.

New resident to VA and the home we were purchasing needed a new roof. Thankfully my realtor recommened Mike's Roofing. Being new to the area I wanted a local and reliable business that would be in the area if problems develop over time (house has heavy tree canopy overhead and falling limbs is an issue until the trees are trimmed).

The roof was at max life, Mike's Roofing was quick to respond to phone calls, provided information about VA and why certain shingles were better than otherd based on state weather/climate/home shade, sent sgingle options and the estimate quickly, was available via email/text, and was willing to work payments via home sale.

Scheduling went smooth and his team showed up early and got the job done in one day. His team was neat and courteous, they repaired a few problem areas, and spent time ensuring everything was clean especially that all roofing nails were picked up which I appreciate as I have dogs and tires.

Id highly recommend Mike's Roofing, we are very satisfied with the work they preformed.

Great experience with Mike's Roofing. We have a complicated roof, and wanted someone who was responsive and reliable. Mike made some great suggestions, and we are very happy with the great looking end product. We got a full roofing system with an extended manufacturer warranty with the algae-resistant shingles (don't want streaks in 5 years!). Compared to the storm chasers in the neighborhood, we got a superior product from a company with better follow-through for less money.

(In comparison, we had simple townhouse with one of the Maryland storm chasers do the roof 2 months before, and while the sales job and attention up front was good, they delivered the wrong color shingles, charged for too many sheets of plywood, and invoiced twice when they found other things to add on!).

My advice -- go local. Mike's Roofing did right by us!

mike Thompson roofing was the only company out of 5 that I called to come out on time and give a estimate they were the best price around by thousands and shoed up on time and did extremely good work they did my siding and roof in only 2 days where as other companies that came out to do estimate were talking about a week they cleaned up after there selves and were all polite and courteous from the owner to the workers
