Quality of work was four stars. It was the unbelievable lack of professionalism and communication by sales person/franchise owner, Kent Raymer, that deserves a zero star rating! Wish I never agreed to do business with them and will certainly never do business with again. If you’ve already signed a contract with them, make sure they don’t charge you for materials not used and work not completed and document EVERYTHING!

I don't normally write reviews for businesses (definitely not negative ones), but we have had such terrible experience with Mighty Dog roofing and Kent Raymer in Plano that I wanted to share with others. After the recent thunderstorms, we had a leak in our roof (in Frisco) and we chose this company because of the 5 star reviews on Google. Initially, we thought everything went well as they were prompt in scheduling, and completed the service (inspection and tarp for $550) on time on 5/31. They said the roof required minor caulking and tarping was not required. However, just a day later, the roof was leaking from the exact same spot. That is, they did not identify the source of the actual leak or tarp the area to prevent further leaking. When my spouse contacted Kent, he apologized and said he will send someone over to take a look. We cleared our schedules and waited for someone to arrive, but no one came. The same thing happened the next day. At that point, Kent stopped responding to text messages. We have since contacted the office every day for past two weeks. Every time they take the information and say someone is going to reach out, but nothing happens (the phone number is just a call center). I understand that sometimes things get missed and not every issue gets fixed the first time, and we have tried to give this company every opportunity to make this right. We have called them many many times, left messages, and they have chosen to just ignore us because they already have our money and are done with us. It's very disappointing to be in this situation where someone takes advantage of you. I would stay far away from this company.

These guys are very knowledgeable. And honest, too. Once they got on the roof what they thought was going to be a $4,000 job was not necessary and they did it for $500. Now that’s integrity!

Kent Ramer at Mighty Dog Roofers, contacted me on the very same day that I called my insurance company for help. Farmers Insurance highly recommended Kent after years of honest, excellent, dependable work for their clients. I appreciate his immediate, friendly, well educated response, and quick attention to the need for an assessment of our roof after hail storm. He met our insurance adjuster within the same week. They both agreed that our roof is indeed strong and in no need at this time , for a new one. Kent is professional, good communication, highly experienced and honest. I will continue to trust him& his workers in the future for our roofing needs with no hesitation. Thank you sir !

Kent Raymer was able to determine the class of shingles on my roof resulting in quite a savings on my home owners insurance. It's service like this that allows one company to stand out among others. I would recommend Mighty Dog every time.

Working with Mighty Dog roofing was such a breeze. We hired them to remove our entire exterior siding and replace it with new siding. From the proposal to completion of the project it was painless and very well cared for! Kent was great on communication and answering any questions we had. Will definitely use them in any future projects for roofing/siding.

A prior contractor installed our patio pergola with a polycal top that was cracked and partially removed due to wind. Kent and his team removed and then replaced with metal addressing leaksge, wind, and permancy issues. They were timely, professional, and thorough, allaying all of our concerns.

Had three turbines installed. Painted black. They look great! Very reasonable pricing. Readily accessible over text. Great for me due to work responsibilities. They visited my home and were very professional, clean and courteous. Professionally-prepared contract made me feel this company is legitimate. Hard to find contractors with same qualities. They want me to follow-up with them and let them know if I feel a temp difference in attic this summer since I had these installed in November. Very impressed. Will hire them again soon for gutter work. Thank you Kent!

My insurance agency gave me a referral for this company after my 14 year old roof and gutters sustained hail damage. The whole process was seamless, very quick and efficient. They also took great care to protect my landscaping and did a wonderful clean up job.

The firm was professional and not overbearing in their sales presentation. They provided detail estimates and projected timelines subject to supply chain considerations. Work was completed as promised with minor (normal) issues quickly resolved. Hopefully we won't have to replace our roof again but if we do, we will call Mighty Dog Roofing.

Used Kent from Mighty Dog Roofing to replace roof and gutters after hail storm. MDR did a fantastic job across the board. They were on time, on budget, site manager was very professional, and roof and gutters look great with extras (metal gutters and high profile ridges). Highly recommend.

Highly Recommended: They got a repairman out right away who was friendly and knowledgable. Went above and beyond to make sure everything was better than new. Explained what he found and what he needed to do every tep of the way. Showed us the repairs and made sure we understood what had been fixed.

Mighty Dog is a first rate roofing company. Very professional, very technologically advanced, with drone and physical inspection. They will tell you the truth. Will definitely call them again when needed.

Mighty Dog worked with me to get the roof replaced through insurance. They took the lead and worked directly with them. After being turned down by insurance, they kept working with me and recommended waiting until after the hail season before replacing it myself.
