Do not kill me because you are running late or you don’t feel the traffic lights apply to your drivers… Disturbing.

Thank you so much Midwest Remodeling for a fantastic bathroom remodel! Our projects were to 1) borrow space from a closet to add a washer/dryer combo 2) maintenance free as possible and 3) a design with simple clean lines! Eureka!!! Karen Shreves was our consultant and Pat Coen was the Supervisor. Karen was very helpful with the design and co-coordinated all the plans. Pat Coen managed and worked along side every crew! He treated us with respect and kindness and his knowledge and work ethic are impeccable! Again, we are so happy with the results and dealing with Midwest Remodeling.

Our bathroom renovation turned out FANTASTIC! Karen did a phenomenal job guiding me with the choices for our transformation. It was a big project with many subcontractors involved. Pat was here to oversee it all and was pickier than we were. All subcontractors were here when expected with only 1 hiccup. Lizzie and Pat not only completed the work beautifully, but were very informative on the progress. They embraced our dog Remy who misses them this week now that the project is done. The entire family at Midwest Remodel was instrumental to making our second story remodel a huge success. We were nervous about redoing the second floor of our family farmhouse originally built in 1890, but they did an amazing job and handled all of the curve balls this place threw at them. I couldn’t ask for a better partner in this adventure… Which is why they will be back out in a couple of years when we’re ready to take on the first floor project!

My work schedule wasn't great for me to be there while work was being done. My husband was there, as far as I know there was know issues. Work was done on time and ended up as good as was expected.

We hired Midwest Remodeling for the second time earlier this year to update the main floor of our home. Karen and I met to discuss everything I dreamed of changing/updating in our home and then slimmed down the list to fit our budget and tackle the most important areas. Brad was the project manager and he was really awesome! I really love the way everything turned out but what I appreciate most about this company is that my concerns were never minimized and everyone I worked with was approachable and listened. We hired Midwest Remodeling to remodel/update our master bathroom (cabinets, lighting, countertop, shower tile, doors and plumbing, free standing tub, new toilet and install new flooring); and kids’ bath (new tub and shower walls, and new flooring). Karen was a joy to work and she is very talented in coming up with a design blueprint and through the selection process. The remodel work was finished in 6 weeks, was smooth and the finished product was beautiful. They started with a calendar schedule and app that we could easily follow for work plans and completion, photos, payment and communication. The project supervisor, Pat, and workers were on time each day, communicated what the plan was for each days’s work, and were timely in responding to all questions and communications. All materials were ready by the time of the work to be done and we did not have to wait for items to come in. Midwest truly cares about getting the job done right the first time and making sure the client is satisfied. I have recommended them to friends and neighbors and would not hesitate to use them again.

I had Midwest Remodeling Services, Inc. take a wall out, put down flooring, move a door and paint. They did a wonderful job in even less time than they had projected. I particularly liked the fact that once the project had begun they allowed me to change one thing I realized was going to take up too much room. Their response was always that they wanted me to be happy with the finished project.....and I am ecstatic with the whole remodeled area. Every person who came to work at my house was professional and paid attention to detail. I highly recommend this company and my project manager, Mike. Midwest Remodeling with Pat and Brad are awesome. Beautiful family owned business that takes pride in their work. They did two phase project on our house. First phase was the kitchen remodel and second with making two bedrooms into a master suite. Both were done professionally and took the burden off of us in coordinating contractors and time etc. I can’t say enough good things about them. In the end, they warranty their work and quality and stand by it.

We had Midwest Remodeling work up a second-story addition to our home and I was blown away the moment I saw the design. Karen was a delight to work with and very professional. Our experience with Midwest Remodeling during our kitchen update was very positive. Communication is key when a major part of your home is under construction and we always knew what and who to expect each day. Our project was done on time and close to budget considering we had some unexpected issues with our floor. Midwest made sure our wonky floor was even and structurally sound before laying tile. It added extra cost (though they kept it very reasonable), but we appreciate them making sure the job was done with integrity. All work was done during normal business hours and every contractor was very respectful of our home, cleaning up after themselves each day. We love our new kitchen and have received so many compliments from family and friends!

We have used Midwest Remodeling for remodeling our kitchen, replace our roof, replace windows and replace cedar on the outside of our house. We were very pleased with the quality of work and the way they worked with us in each of these projects. We would highly recommend them!

We hired Midwest to add on to our house so we could move in an aging family member. From the first meeting to end of construction, it’s been a great experience. They communicate well, have a great system for pointing out areas you see that need attention, and go above and beyond. We asked for a step and hand railing for the deck and that thing is solid!! They even prepped us that there’s a point in the process where the excitement of renovating wears off and you just want it to end. I keep looking around for more things we could have them come out and do! Our original house was built really well and we wanted to honor that quality. Hands down, they met that. We’re so happy with the work they did! I also appreciated in the design phase Karen would tell us you could do it that way, but this way is more affordable. Great experience!

I needed service on my bathtub due to leaking into my bedroom, I had called Midwest to quote me on my remodel job I was having done and when I called them about the leak issue they sent Pat right out to inspect the problem, From there they were hired, I went from a dated cracked bathtub to a beautiful bathroom remodel. At first it seemed great. Then they decided that they couldn't do the job...which we selected items from what they has in stock to keep costs down. So to get a blanket statement without even going over numbers with us to see if it was something we could swing. I was so very disappointed and utterly let down.

Midwest Remodeling provided design and construction expertise during our recent kitchen remodel. They lovingly maintained the cabinets and appliances during the bulkhead removal and new countertops. Adding new can lighting made the job complete! We love our new kitchen!

Remodeled the Kitchen and some additional lighting. Everything turned out lovely... exceeded our expectations. Communications by project manager and office was excellent. Good craftsmanship by all the contractors. Beat the projected completion date. A couple minor changes with open and fair discussions before making. No surprises. Finish work and even clean-up was more than satisfactory. Our last kitchen ... but maybe a bathroom or two!!! We would pick Midwest again!

I called Midwest earlier this year after 3 friends had great experiences with them. We added a front porch, removed an existing deck and rebuilt it much larger, added new concrete sidewalks and a patio area. We LOVE all the room and how the front of our home looks so much more inviting. Everyone from Midwest kept in touch as the project moved along. I would definitely call Midwest again if we need remodeling or additions in the future.

Midwest Remodeling has a great team to work with. From the moment I called for an estimate to the final walk thru they we attentive, professional and listened and responded in a polite and professional manner. The subcontractors were great and did a wonderful job rebuilding and tiling our master bath shower. We love it!

After a 6 months search and 10 different contractors that would no show or come to our house and never get back to us, Midwest was a breath of fresh air. They were the first company that 100% of the time answered my calls, responded to emails etc. We started our project (which included blowing off our roof and adding bedrooms/bath/laundry) right as Covid hit, and they rolled with all of the curves the pandemic threw us. The women in the office were reassuring and so knowledgeable, they navigated all the permits and paperwork without me ever lifting a finger, taking all the headaches out of the process. Brad, our project manager, was so talented and completely unflappable in the face of all the oddities our 100 year old house threw at him. He worked so hard to make sure everything ran smoothly, and got our project done on budget over a month EARLY. Bonus, our two year old thinks Brad is a super hero, and the rest of our family agrees. I can not recommend Midwest highly enough.

Where do I start when singing the praises of this company? Midwest was a breath of fresh air after trying to find the right company to do a major addition to our home. We started with Karen who diligently listened to our needs, wants, and wishes. After that first meeting, I told my husband we had found our people! Karen worked with Marcy to put together a 3-D rendering of the house that worked structurally while also meeting our aesthetic needs. Karen also led us through the contracting process from start to finish. Beth and Brad were the dream team who were with us through the construction process. Beth is top-notch at details and making sure the customer is happy. Brad was really polite, made sure things got done in a timely and respectful manner, and maintained a can-do attitude through our winter second story addition project. Everyone in the company is efficient, strong communicators, fun, and cares about putting in an honest day's work. I would highly recommend Midwest for your next construction project. We will be using them again for any future work we need or want.

They took our very old small farm cottage from a home that had been a rental for 20 years, with a dysfunctional floor plan, to a dream come true. They were so flexible with us as we literally tweeted the floor plan during construction about 30 times. I was terrified to do a home renovation project, I had so many fears about being taken advantage of by a construction company. They walked with us in our journey from design, build, to finished product. This family owned business is honest and understands that your budget is something that has to be considered with all choices. We ended up with a gorgeous 4 bed three bath house with a dream kitchen. All of it in budget, even when our house had some curve balls hiding behind walls.

We had both our bathrooms remodeled. Karen worked closely with us to help us come up with what we wanted but what also was in style. She had such great ideas and was so fun to work with. They assigned Pat C. as our site supervisor. He told us that his main job was to make sure we were happy, and he sure did that. He was always very friendly and prompt. He was always willing to go that extra step to ensure the job met our expectations. By the time the job was done we felt like Pat was a friend.
Near the end of the project, Beth came out to do a walk through and we felt that Mid West really cared about making sure the job was completed to our satisfaction.
Now we have two new beautiful bathrooms and we have heard lots of compliments from our family and friends. We refer to our main bathroom as our "vacation" bathroom because it makes us feel like we are on vacation.
We had told Karen that if we were pleased with the job they did on the bathrooms that we might consider having the kitchen remodeled. We are now looking forward to see what Karen can do with it.

I couldn't say more about Midwest Remodeling. They built a beautiful 3 gar garage with an upstairs for much less than others quoted. They showed up everyday, did real quality work, and even cleaned up their messes. If there was anything I didn't like, they were very easy to work with to fix it the way I wanted. It is very rare that you find a contracting company that does what they say and even goes above what you hoped for. Thank you Midwest Remodeling!

Midwest Remodeling did a terrific job on our bathrooms. They were easy to work with, did quality work, and had great ideas on how to change the bathrooms around to make them more accommodating for us. I would look forward to working with them again in the future.

Karen is a very talented designer and keeps up to date on trends/products and can really pull things together well. She also understands the work that needs to be done to give good up front expectations. They make things right even if it’s a month later or if they have to tear it up and do it over! It is pricey but you get what you pay for.

Midwest turned an ugly 1950s add-on to a bungalow into a light, bright, beautiful full bath with walk in shower and two shower heads, a big mudroom with base cabinets all around below beautiful new casement Windows, and a tiny but fully functional laundry room. I am really pleased with the results. I love hosting family gatherings and showing off the improvements.

I couldn’t have envisioned the potential end result of our remodel without Karen really listening to me and coming up with a floor plan and drawings of the cabinetry, flooring, walls, new doors and detailed finishes. The 1950 add-on now melds beautifully with the 1934 bungalow design, but with 2018 fixtures and materials.

Midwest Remodel did a great job helping us to make our small home a much more useable space. They helped us design a new space that worked better for our family and then kept the project on budget as we finished. Our home was built in the 40s so it had lots of unexpected quirks, but Marcy and Karen made sure everything meshed together and created a safe home for our family.

I have a multimillion dollar home and we are needing to upgrade our stove top and ovens with cabinetry and I was told my job is too small for them to bother with. I guess they don't want any business now and they for sure will not get my business in the future when I redo the rest.
