Midwest Paint Service

I first learned of Midwest Paint Service a few years ago when their salesman approached us at our business. We have a metal roof Quonset 100'x100' and is about 40' high. We had some trouble with leaking. His whole approach with us is that they would completely solve our leaking problem. He guaranteed that it would. The way he talked I was totally expecting something closer to membrane roofing or rhino lining.

Time and budget constraints caused me hold off and line them up to do the job this summer, 2017.

These guys were great at dealing with the heights while spraying on paint. But that's all it was is just paint. True the paint contained some elastomers which may help stop some leaking. When they got finished we could still see sunlight through some of the pinholes in the roofing. They went back up and tried to deal with them. But although the foreman guaranteed to me right then and there that it would not leak, it still does to this day.

I put in my complaint to their business office. They said their workers are in another state doing a job and will swing back around to fix the problem in early October. This was late August. They told me in an email, "We will make sure that you are happy with the job that we have done." There was no more contact from them. They didn't bother to let me know any plans had changed, or they wouldn't be coming back this year. I am left hanging with a leaky building with product being ruined each time it rains.

I don't have a problem with this company if they had sold a paint job, but they sold me a solution to my leaky roof problem. And that's exactly what I didn't get. They need provide what it is they are selling and to follow through when they say they are coming back at a certain time. If for some reason cannot, they need to communicate. I am still waiting for that communication ... and for their foreman to return the key to my other warehouse.
