I called Matt for a leak in my shower. He wasn't busy so he said he would meet me at the house Ina half hour. He was very prompt and friendly. Thanks Matt. I to am a veteran. And will recommend you to everyone I know.

I'm leaving one star, because I can't leave zero.
He did not arrive promptly for our appointment, and texted me just minutes before to tell me he was running late.
When he did show up late, even though I had explained to him why I was hiring a handyman to come and mount my TV on a wall mount, he completely disregarded what I had said and installed the wall mount on the wrong spot on the wall.
People make mistakes, and so I tried giving him a chance to fix what he screwed up, even though he did try to argue with me about the placement of the wall mount, which was clearly NOT where I had asked him to hang it. But then our next appointment was the day before Christmas and my son was visiting for the holidays and we chose to cancel our plans and stay in that day because Matt was coming, except he texted right before the appointment to tell me that he was feeling sick and couldn't make it. Then, he rescheduled it for two days later, the day after Christmas, and that day, he didn't text or show up at all. I messaged him to ask him what was happening, and he responded that he was still sick and just forgot to text me to let me know.
Then he didn't like the fact that I was telling him that he had been very unprofessional and disrespectful of my time (I work from home, and several times I had put off working because he was supposed to be coming and he was either late or didn't show, as in the last time,) and his response was to tell me he would just refund me--which is at least better than him screwing up and not giving a refund--and not bother to come back and fix the wall mount that he had attached on the wrong spot and then the holes in the wall afterwards, that are still there.
I don't know how he's still in business.

This guy is aces in my book. Called him wee hours xmas morning, due to a burst water pipe, he actually answered. Was willing to come out xmas day but told him I could hold off until morning after xmas. He arrived promptly next morning, finished quickly! Professional job! Fee was very, very reasonable, I even gave him a tip. I won't bother calling anyone else next time any plumbing issues arises.
