We recently had Bill Busters insulate the walls and attic of our home, and we couldn’t be happier with the results. Mike was incredibly thorough and made sure every gap and crack was sealed up properly—he truly went above and beyond. He was very helpful with every question I asked.

The difference in comfort has been night and day. Before the insulation, our upstairs was consistently 8-10 degrees colder than downstairs during the winter, and we often had to use space heaters just to stay comfortable at night. Now, the upstairs stays warm and cozy without any extra help.

The attic is now sealed off so well from the rest of the house that it feels closer to the outside temperature up in the attic, meaning our house is holding heat much more effectively.

I tried finding as much information on how much I could expect this to cut down on the furnace usage as I could before doing this project and sometimes it was hard to find good, reliable information. I wanted to wait to post this review until I had a few comparable days to hopefully help some other people in their decision making process.

I have attached two collages containing images from my google home app showing the furnace usage on the selected days and screenshots from a weather website showing what the high and lows were for those same days. I picked two scenarios with the closest highs and lows I could find.

• Example 1: Before the work was done, on a day with a high of 25°F and a low of 12°F, our furnace ran for 11 hours and 40 minutes. On a comparable day after the insulation was completed (high of 25°F, low of 13°F), it only ran for 7 hours and 30 minutes.
• Example 2: Before the work was done, on a day with a high of 18°F and a low of 10°F, the furnace ran for 13 hours and 8 minutes. After the job was done, on a similar day (high of 18°F, low of 8°F), it only ran for 8 hours and 48 minutes.

These results speak for themselves. Not only is our home far more comfortable, but we’re also seeing clear energy savings. I highly recommend Mike at Bill Busters if you’re looking for quality insulation work and excellent service at a reasonable price.

I reached out to Mike and less than a week later he was at my house! He explained everything he was doing and even let me watch how they did the blown-in insulation. They were quick, efficient, and even cleaned everything up! My house is now toasty warm through these chilly temps. I couldn’t be happier and I would recommend Bill Buster’s for any weatherization needs!

Mike and his team were amazing from start to finish. He gave a thorough estimate and explained the different options we had and how best to complete the job. He was more than fair in terms of pricing and they were finished in just one day. They left without a trace as they worked clean and made sure to tidy up. A few areas in our home had become noticeably cold over the past several winters so I called Mike to take a look at the problem areas. After his overview, and in comparison to a few other contractors that also looked at our home, I immediately knew he was the right man for the job. Mike spent 3 days ensuring that all areas were taken care of, and he even went above and beyond to take care of a few other items that he found along the way- some that didn’t even have to do with the actual insulation. Mike and his team are detailed, courteous, clean, and very professional and considerate- even dealing with our nosy dog who constantly wanted to be part of his crew. I would highly recommend Bill Busters to anyone needing insulation work done.

Mike was very prompt in getting us an estimate for blown-in insulation. We scheduled a service date and he and his 2 person crew arrived in time, very respectful of our home (shoes off) worked very hard, and got the job done. Mike explained the process and they cleaned up everything before they left. We highly recommend them for blown in insulation.

Bill Buster Inc really helped my attic insulation problem. They were absolutely terrific to deal with and have terrific pricing. I would have them back in a heart beat and I highly recommend them. (On a side note, each of them have terrific personalities).

We called Bill busters after being referred by a family member who was pleased with their work. Mike came and did a quote/estimate in our attic, he was extremely personable and knowledgeable. He explained very clearly what he would do to improve our attics insulation and how long / cost. His team came on the scheduled day/time and work was efficiently completed in the timeframe expected. They were all friendly and took great care of our house, cleaning up and covering where needed. They went above and beyond to correct other issues they encountered from past construction. Great company would highly recommend, very fair pricing.

The friendly service from these guys is top-notch. They come to our home, inspected and came up with a plan that they were willing to explain in great detail. I was even able to contact them after they left with more questions. Their work was incredible. They were willing to work around our schedule. They even came back when i have more questions. I will be calling them again to work on adding more insulation to the exterior of our home soon.

We own a small ranch purchased in 2018, transferred gas rights to a new home we were building on the property, so installed an air-to-air heat pump for HVAC. Trouble keeping the place warm during winter and high electric bills prompted us to contact Bill Busters. Mike did an inspection and gave us a thorough 3 part quote. Mike and his crew came in and did an excellent job. The place is much warmer and heat pump no longer running much of the time. Highly Recommend !!!

Insulated my attic to r49 12/7/23. Added access riser, sealed holes, removed a bat. Professional, fast well organized crew, no mess. I allready feel the difference. I would highly recommend.

Blown away! Purchased an original Westmoreland Homesteads “Norvelt” home in April 2022 with no insulation. The house is 1300sqft, with central air, and an oil furnace. The average monthly electricity cost is $330, and $3000+ spent on oil over the winter. Our house was a frame with walls. The best day of my life was closing on my house, and the second best day was calling Bill Buster’s. Mike and his team (Tom, Brooke, & Kyle) made it a warm sanctuary.

Mike and crew were very professional and answered any questions we had. Everyone was respectful of our property and were friendly. Once the work was completed you would not know they were there. Very pleased with their work from the start of the process till the end. Prices were extremely reasonable. Would recommend 100%!

These guys knocked out an insulation upgrade to my house at a reasonable price. They worked with me and answered all my questions every step of the way. Even educated me on things on my house that I wasn't aware of. I would easily call them back for any work they can do.

One of the best contractors we have had the privilege of working with. We have a 50 year old house that was in need of an insulation upgrade. Mike Omasta (owner of Bill Busters) did a thorough inspection of the house, explained in detail what needed to be done and within a few days provided an estimate. He was very professional and is clearly, very experienced in the business. When it came time to have the actual work done, the crew showed up on time and went above and beyond to get the job done. These people were awesome to work with. Mike gave me an estimate, and rather than doing a little hand waving, he explained to me in detail what they were going to do and why. Their crew was friendly and courteous,and worked their tails off from beginning to end to get the job done. After the job was completed there was no clean up for me because they did it all. They are professional and their price is very fair. I highly recommend this crew for any of your insulation projects.

Mike was fantastic when he came for an estimate to insulate my home. Scheduled the installation and will update the review once the job is finished but I have little doubt it will be perfect.

Reviews don't lie on this company. I wish I could give more than 5 stars. Mike and his crew were absolutely amazing. The work is fantastic, the care they took in my home to complete the job and explain the process was if they were working on their own home. I highly recommend Bill Busters!!!

Hands down amazing and professional work. Our recently purchased home came with a few surprises. We needed insulation but didn’t want to disturb our existing drywall. Blown in insulation was the answer. Project took 3 painless days it was like they were never even here after they left. They took extreme care in making sure to lay tarps and runners to protect our belongings. They even worked around my very curious bulldog . What a difference in noise and the warmth of our home. Money well spent. Don’t hesitate and call them today you won’t regret it.

They insulated my attic, garage, and an overhang. When finished they cleaned up, patched and painted holes, and looked like they were never even there!

Mike and his crew did blown insulation for me today. It was easy to schedule, good price, friendly crew, care was used with home and the things in it. They also took all of the necessary Covid precautions. The process was easy. It's chilly today and I'm already noticing my furnace kicking on less frequently. If you're in the market, call these guys first!

Mike and his crew are amazing! They insulated our attic and walls making our home so much more comfortable. The work was explained in detail and even gave tips on things I could do to improve other insulation. The work was done in a few days and they are very friendly and professional. Mike was detailed in explaining what he would be doing and was very responsive in getting us a quote on our project. Unfortunately, the Covid shutdown delayed our project as a whole, but the crew was ready for us as soon as construction was deemed "essential." They were professional and finished our unique project in just a few days. We were very happy with the finished product. We would definitely recommend Bill Buster's to anyone.

Updated review 2021. I finally had the rest of my house insulated in April of 2021 and I'm so glad I did. Bill Busters did an excellent job. My house is stone so all the work had to be done inside the house. They were so careful with covering my floors and furniture and cleaning up when they were done. My house is now cool in the summer and warm in the winter. My energy bills have gone down about 30 percent. I'm very happy with the results.
