Had metro do my roof after this spring's hail storm, seeing as how they had done the roof previously (with a previous owner). Would not recommend them.

Pros: They did indeed put the shingles on the roof.

Cons: Everything else was painful.

Was not notified the day they were coming to do the roof, they just showed up.

Gutters and a kitchen exhaust needed rework after the roofing and required numerous phone calls and visits over the course of two months.

I get that some of this is subcontractor work and when half of Denver needs a roof delays happen. Feel you gotta hold the main contractor accountable at some point.

At the end of the day, what really stinks the most was all of the wasted time calling and meeting these guys just to get them to do their job.

Caveat emptor.

My new roof looks fantastic! It was time to replace my 32 year old asphalt shingles and I am glad I found Metro Construction. I thoroughly enjoyed working with Jerod, Mark and Glenn. They really care about the customer and the quality of their work. As an added bonus, they are all a great group of guys. Mark, my main point of contact, was quick to respond anytime I had questions and stayed in touch with me throughout the entire project. He took care of all of the details from start to finish. Jerod, the owner, did the initial inspection and stopped by a couple of times after that. Glenn, the on-site supervisor was diligent about making sure the work was done correctly. I wanted Owens Corning shingles and was very pleased when I learned that Metro is a Platinum Preferred Contractor with over 15 years in the trades. The entire project was completed in 2 days. Outstanding! I am a very satisfied customer and bet you will be too.

Metro Construction has completed four projects for me over the last six years. They did an exceptional job on my rental properties and replaced my roof on my primary house on two occasions. Most recently I upgraded my roofing ventilation to an all Attic Solar Fan and it has made a huge impact on the energy efficiency of our home. My fiance and I worked with Shawn and Katie to get the roof redone. They were both awesome! They helped with every step of the process from starting our homeowners claim to the end. They did everything they could to help us and in the end they were even able to get our insurance to cover a bit more then we thought. Metro Construction has replaced 4 roofs on my home and rental properties and also windows on one of my rentals. I would never trust anyone else as my contractor! Their crews have always been great! They are professional and respectful and have always left my properties spotless after they were done. I have never had to have them return for a problem after installation! I have referred many people to them and they have been happy also!

My experience with Metro Construction was quick, and responsive. We were in a real bind and they came through for us.

Avoid at all cost. If buying a house, do not buy one that Metro worked on, which is, unfortunately, what I have done. 5 year old roof leaks on every edge, chimney, and fixture. Flashing was done wrong, and roof doesn't meet typical standards such as appropriate underlayment for pitch. Thanks to Metro, I will have a financial burden that will take years to pay off.

The work performed was executed as planned with additional help. It's hard to find a trustworthy company and Metro made sure the damage on my property was evaluated properly. During the repair process, Metro identified additional damages on the side elevation while working with my claims adjuster to ensure the total damage was corrected. Metro was willing to repair my roof during the snow season. Metro also returned to ensure my property was clear of any debris as promised. They did a great job and my home is now restored.

The work they did seemed to be good to me and the one small leak we appeared to have was addressed quickly. Generally I found them to be very professional and communicative. One employee, though, apparently has some strong political views and wore a very political hoodie. I did not find that to be very professional. Their initial final invoice also included work (removal and reinstall of solar panels) that they did not do. They corrected it quickly, but it was an oversight that should not have shown up in a final invoice.

I have been a customer for years with Metro. I was in need of warranty services and Metro stood behind their commitments. They were very responsive and corrected my issues without charging me. Yes I wouldI highly recommend Metro to my friends and others. Most of all I was contacted by Nick in less than 24 hours and met with him in my home, the next day. Work was completed within a week. Great Job

Metro has re-roofed our home 3 times now from hail damage. I have been very satisfied with the work that was done & super happy with our Sales Consultants- Jason Jones on the first 2 roofs & Luis Meza on this last one. Metro provided prompt service and suggested cost-saving measures to help close the gap on insurance deductibles. The installation of the new roof was done quickly and incorporated a shingle upgrade to one of the strongest available. They installed more venting and replaced spongy/rotted plywood that was revealed after removing the previous roof, which was installed by a different contractor the year before. They cleaned up thoroughly after as well. This is my second time in two years working with this company (I hired them for my mother's house last year) and I would recommend them wholeheartedly.

Metro Construction, Inc. replaced the shingles and provided the roof with vents to release the heat build up. The roof was completed in one day! Alex who over saw the job kept me updated over the course of project. He is knowledgeable, friendly and helpful with any questions or concerns. He helped me get the necessary documents to the insurance company and updated me on the status of the claim. He took care of the men on the project and I highly recommend Metro Construction and the fantastic people who work there!

Update on law suit. Last week I litigated with this company for amongst other things unfinished work. I obtained a court judgement including but not limited to court costs against them. Two independent home inspectors had provided detailed reports on their work. The judge took those reports into consideration and awarded judgement in my favor against this company.

A full press release with the trial court’s transcript in which the owner makes assertions relating to the quality of his work will be available together with the independent inspectors photographs and reports.

Unsurprisingly, Alex was not present in court.

I have had major problems with roofing companies in the past, but Metro Construction was painless for me. Alex Laza was my project manager and was very helpful and communicated well from beginning to end. They were able to get the most out of my claim, and the new roofing system I have is significantly better than the previous existing one.

Worked with this company back in the summer of 2018. They did our roof and gutters in a timely and correct fashion. I would work with this company again.

Metro Construction came out in a timely fashion, and walked me through the insurance claim process in the best possible way. There were a couple of slip ups during construction, but this was to be expected. The production manager, Brice Foland, was in direct communication with me and did a great job rectifying all of the issues I had. I rarely refer contractors to people I know, but the way this company handled these problems made me comfortable enough to recommend them to two of our neighbors.

Peter Miller Did exceptional job walking us through the process and how everything was going to go also was very professional and personable. Kept my mind at ease through this whole experience always answered my texts and phone calls in a timely. I would highly recommend Metro construction and Peter for your roofing needs

We had a new roof installed by Metro Construction a few weeks ago. Metro worked directly with my insurance company so I didn't have to get involved with that aspect of the install. The sales representative was very knowledgeable and friendly; however, we had a couple of issues with him after completion. It is my understanding that he is no longer with the company.
Overall, our experience with Metro was good. They showed up on time and installed the roof in one day, the area was cleaned up afterwards, and we have had no problems with leaking so far...knock on wood (we haven't had a huge monsoon rain storm yet but I have no worries).
Metro was very happy to send over upgrade information to my insurance company when I asked but I am still waiting for the final paid invoice and lien release waiver to arrive in the mail.
I would recommend this company to a friend.

Have used them before for roofing work, always great work, cleaned up afterwards and worked with insurance so I didn't have to. Made sure everything was done to our expectation when it was done. Will call them back if I need another roof.

We had a great experience with Metro Construction. Our salesman worked with our insurance adjuster to help us get more coverage for our hail damage claim than we would have gotten otherwise. The roof installers were courteous and did great work. The roof looks terrific.

I got my roof replaced at the end of October. My experience with Metro Construction was great. Whether it was the company that was outstanding, the project manager I was working with (Jason Jones), or both, I do not know. But everything went so smooth and we got so much more approved by the insurance company for replacement than we could have imagined. I referred Jason/Metro to a few friends and I know that they have been thrilled as well.

I'm not one to write a wordy review but I am happy to give Metro five stars for a job well done. I couldn't ask for more from a roofing company. Although I hope this roof will last me a long time and that I won't have a need for Metro's services anytime soon, Jason from metro will be my first call if another big storm does happen to come through.

We have had a very positive experience working with Rhea and Metro Construction on our roof replacement. Rhea was attentive and helpful with questions and explaining the confusing insurance process. The roofers were very hardworking and efficient and were able to finish the project in a little over two days. Rhea checked in regularly and made extra efforts to clean up around the neighborhood after strong winds started right after much of the old roofing materials had been removed and began to blow down the street. I feel like customer satisfaction is important to this company and Rhea worked hard to make sure my concerns and questions were addressed.

It was a pleasure to work with Rhea when we needed a new roof. Working with insurance companies can be stessful but Rhea was with us every step of the way. She helped us make the claim, met with the insurance adjuster, and was always available for our questions. I highly recommend Metro Construction and Rhea Levin!

I would Ignore this company at all cost!! They only care about your money! They completely scammed my family! Bad communication skills! I would have to call them for all the details because they really gave us any information. They scheduled our re roofing(didn’t even let us pick a date) and never showed up on the date and did not let us know that they were not going to come in on that day due to come sick workers which is understandable but that fact that I had to call them and ask was so ridiculous!! They couldn’t even call me to inform me! I left them a voice mail to this day that they still haven’t returned the call. Very dissatisfied with the overall work ethic of the company! Not reliable North trustworthy! Do yourself a favor and stay away!

Metro did a free inspection on our roof and worked with our insurance company to have it replaced. Their crew was respectful and professional. The installation crew worked hard to complete the work in a timely manner.
Within a week after the install, we had a terrible hail storm and Jason showed up at my house offering to look at my roof again. They have been wonderful, and responsive to work with.

Metro exceeded my expectations in every way. I was weary at first due to the whole concept of getting a new roof when I didn’t think I needed one but their associates were highly professional and understanding to my reluctance. James Rhoades was calling people with the recent hail we had in Greeley to do free estimates. I took him up on it and scheduled a time and no one shows up. He goes oh sorry we can be out there tomorrow. Don't waste your time with these jokers. They obviously don't care about your time .

I was very happy with the level of communication, the product and installation as well as the service provided by Metro Construction for our Solar Panel project. We're thrilled to be using less electricity and have piqued the interest of many of our neighbors (even thought the panels themselves are quite discreet). I wouldn't hesitate to go through Metro Construction for any future home construction projects.

Metro Construction has been terrible at communicating with me, delivered repeated poor workmanship, and did not follow up with promises made. The sales guy is nice and trusting but the lack of communication between him and the workers, the broken promises, the trash left behind, and the workers hoping over my fence when no one was home is appalling.
Here’s a list: The sales guy and I discussed removing an old satellite dish on the roof and he said it would be done. It did not get done. I told him about and it took three complaints and visits for it to finally get done. - I told the salesperson, and the workers, to not throw stuff in the backyard because I have a big garden. I came home at night and found empty water bottles, shingle debris, and packaging in the garden beds and the surrounding area. I’m still finding roofing nails back there too. - I was promised a patio roof since my plastic one was destroyed by hail damage and they finally installed one but left a huge overhang that I will have to cut myself. Poor workmanship and this is a hazard with the winds.
I spoke with a representative two times over the phone about getting a document for my insurance company to deduct the new roof from my home owner's insurance. Both times I was promised to get it within the day and I still have not received anything.
Honestly, if you are an investing company looking for a quick job then these guys would work for you. If you are a homeowner looking to support a local business or one that takes pride in their work, look else where.

Reading all their other reviews, I would have certainly been weary of this company but I got a recommendation from a friend so I decided to give them a shot. We scheduled an initial time to meet at one of my rental properties with the adjuster. It was super helpful to have them there to talk with my adjuster as I'm not really all that well versed in the insurance/roofing world.
My points of contact were Ryan & Robert. Ryan, the sales manager helped out in clarifying scope with the adjuster so that the roof, new decking, and gutters were all included in the insurance report. He was incredibly competent and thorough which made me feel confident that I was getting a good quality product to protect my investment. Robert, the production manager, made sure the shingle type was spec'd correctly and that all the other technical detail items were covered too. That initial consultation made me confident that the rest of the project would progress just as smoothly.
Fast forward to the actual build out and it went pretty flawless. They scheduled me for a couple weeks out and it took two days to do the decking and roof. I never heard a complaint from my tenants and when I went to look at it a week or so later the gutters had already been finished and everything looked great. Inspection happened with no issues, and payment was straight forward. Nothing shady. After talking with Ryan and Robert some, it sounds like they've been making a lot of internal changes with staff, and leadership. My experience reflects that. Well done Metro. I'd definitely use them again and recommend them to friends and family.

I want to give a "shout out" to Rhea Levin. After the hailstorm my roof needed repairing. In addition to the roof quality being great, Rhea guided me with the insurance claim process which was quite challenging. Dealing with the insurance claim was far more complicated than I thought. Terrible customer service and slow to get the job done. We have been working with Metro Construction to fix our roof for over 6 months now after the hail storm earlier this year. They never communicate when any work will be done, and then out of the blue another person will be pounding away on our roof. Twice their subcontractor left our gate open and our dog escaped from our yard even after we specifically asked them to close the gate. Awful experience- I would highly recommend finding a different contractor.

Super unorganized, and incredibly slow. I've had to follow up to make sure they even remember they have a job to do numerous times. It took almost a week for them to even get a permit up on my house lol. I've been waiting for a few window screen replacements, some small painting and a few misc things to be done for about 2 months now. I will say, at least the guy I've worked with has been nice.

We had our attic insulated by Metro Construction. The insulation team was very efficient and friendly. They provided us with a wonderful, professional experience. Brendan Moorehead took the time to answer all of our questions and was very informative. We noticed a difference in the temperature of the house that very next day. I was impressed with their service and highly recommend Metro construction.

BEWARE!!!... These guys are crooks!!! Very unorganized & horrible customer service. They are very agressive on trying to get paid before the job has been completed & then they have the guts to threaten to put a lein on your house although they hadn't completed the job. Upon completion of our job we paid them in full. Then they lose the damn check. Now they're threatening to put a lien on our house again. This place is horrible!! Save yourself some stress and find a better contractor.

Tried to get a w-2 sent to an old address, could not find me in the system and JOSH who is in charge of that department refused to help then hung up when I "cussed"(are you 3?!) , not even at him, just in context. They do half ass work because they have half ass workers. Hire someone else. Work ANYWHERE ELSE.

Setup an appointment for 10:30 and they never showed up, had to call them at 11:00 and got a run-around on what happened. They setup a new appointment for 12:30 and then showed up late for that. I guess they don't like getting business and/or are ok with disrespecting customer's time. Had about $12,000 of work I needed done so I guess I don't tolerate being totally aloof and unprofessional.

They won't return my phone calls.
They poured two slabs of a sidewalk and they are such a different color--they look awful. Rep said to wait 6 months to see if color changed and it did not. Now that rep is gone & I call & call.
Not responsive and have no credibility!!!

First off, this is only the second negative review I’ve ever wrote in my life. Not because I’ve always had exceptional service, but because I don’t like taking the time to do this sort of thing. However, when it comes to Metro Construction, I couldn’t sleep at night without writing one, as the experience I’ve had working with them has been beyond my worst nightmare! In almost 38-years of life, and 14-years of home ownership, I’ve made lots of purchases. Whether it’s ordering a chicken sandwich at a fast food restaurant, having an oil change, replacing a furnace, windows, gutters, siding, purchasing a car, etc., I have never encountered such poor service and workmanship, EVER! To date, Metro Construction wins the prize for worst experience of my life when it comes to working with another company!

I will say: they did a decent job of selling the job, and that’s where it all ends. Once you sign, they will never again notify you of any work being done (even if you repeatedly ask), or check in on you. Now, this might not be so bad (it is important to me, however) if the work they did was quality, but it is the furthest thing from that!! Not only did the roof they replaced fail to pass inspection the first time, they damaged my siding in the process, and have never made a legitimate attempt to right that wrong. Then, within about three months after having the new roof put on, I came home one day to find shingles all over my yard and a huge patch where they came from on my roof. There had been some winds the night before, but I was the only one in my neighborhood who had shingles missing. Of course I called, but never got a call back (this is very typical for them); however, they did eventually come out and replace the shingles. I would like to say that was the end of headaches, but nope. I still have shingles coming off, and at this point, they have no interest in repairing their mistakes. They have been paid, so I guess that’s all they care about. In this process of trying to get someone to fix these mistakes, I’ve been passed around to four different people (all with the same customer service and work ethic—ZERO!). I have never been called back or followed up with by anyone, and I am now ready to cut my losses, as it’s just too painful attempting to work with these people.

In closing, please do yourself a favor and choose anyone else. Even if you have a bad experience elsewhere, I will bet that it will be better than the one you would have with Metro Construction!!

I chose Metro Construction from my mother's neighbor whom I trust very highly. This neighbor works with FEMA disasters and truly does her diligence in research whether it be to organize reconstruction for the homes of those unfortunate victims or for her own home. I asked to speak to the manager of that project, and I was introduced to Mark Aumen who was was very patient with his explanation and informative with his discretion of the insulation process. When it came for my project to be done, Kevin Cooley was my project manager and he gave me excellent customer service. All of the staff from Metro Construction has been very cooperative and hard working. I can tell that this company goes the distance to make sure every customer is highly satisfied by the way they continually went above and beyond with any requests or concerns I made!!! Thank you Metro Construction!!!!! I will refer you to all of my friends and family who might need insulation!!!

I am extremely pleased with Metro Construction! My roof had hail damage - the entire neighborhood was crawling with roofers. I'm not usually one to talk to people who knock on my door but I was impressed with non-aggressive conversation I had about letting Metro give me an estimate. The quality of the materials and the project management was great - my project manager was flexible, easy to work with, and followed through until the last detail was completed! It's crazy to say that I would be so happy with my new roof but it looks great and the quality gives me peace of mind. I would highly recommend Metro Construction!

When we met our project manager David Walker I began asking a lot of questions on how to make our home more energy efficient. First question David asked me was "when was the last time you looked at your insulation"? I sheepishly told him, 'never'. He was not surprised, but said he would be happy to swing by and take a look. The service Metro provided us was GREAT and learned so much with David's knowledge. A thorough inspection was done and insulation was the best result for being ready for summer and winter. The work was great and the clean up and protection of our walls and floors was very professional. These guys are Super!

Kevin Cooley was the project manager that visited our home today. I have to say that from his first hello and handshake I had met a new friend. His knowledge and sharing of information was appreciated. And there was no pressure! We have Kevin's information stored in our contacts so that if we have any home improvement needs we will contact Kevin and if Metro Construction does not do the work we are seeking, I can trust that a referral from Kevin will be a good one.
