Chris and his team did a wonderful job building us our new deck! They listened to our wants and needs, their communication throughout the project was excellent, they showed up on time everyday, and their professionalism went above and below the scope of their work. Would highly recommend them for any job you need done.

The Metacom team was amazing from start to finish! Their communication was great and we’re thrilled with the quality of work. The work was done quickly, and they never left a mess. Everything was cleaned up at the end of every day. The pricing was more than fair -especially considering the quality of work. They communicated throughout to make sure we stayed on budget. The team completely remodeled our basement handling everything from the demo, to the framing, new walls, flooring, removed our popcorn ceiling, and more. We showed them pictures of what we had in mind and they brought it to life. We’re thrilled with how it came out and would highly recommend the Metacom team to anyone who asked.

Metacom recently did some work at our house.... windows, roofing, gutters, trim work, a new deck, side porch and vinyl siding.

We recently worked with Metacom to add a mudroom/laundry room onto our house, and I can honestly say the experience was phenomenal. Chris, his brother Derrick, and the entire Metacom team were always pleasant, flexible, and easygoing.

As we all know, dealing with contractors nowadays can often be a pain... if you're able to even get in touch with them in the first place, that is. Chris was incredibly responsive throughout the planning and construction process - he made us feel comfortable reaching out with questions/concerns at basically any hour of the day, and would always reply quickly.

I recently had a deck built by Metacom Construction. Chris and the team did an amazing job and we couldn’t be happier with the results. From the very beginning, Chris and Joe, and the rest of the team were professional, communicative, and clearly knowledgeable about every aspect of the project. He took the time to understand what we wanted in our deck build and offered helpful suggestions to improve the design.

The craftsmanship is top-notch—every board is perfectly aligned, and the attention to detail really shows. Just look at the before and after pictures below! The deck not only looks amazing but also feels incredibly sturdy and well-built. Chris and his team were respectful, efficient, and kept the work area clean throughout the entire process.

They followed through above and beyond of everything that was promised and the experience was truly seamless. Easily the best contractor experience we have had with various home improvement projects.

We highly recommend Chris at Metacom Construction and his crew (Derrick, Donnie, Tony, and Nick - sorry if I forgot someone). Chris and Derrick were responsive, excellent communicators, and extremely patient with us as we changed our minds multiple times throughout the projects. What started as one outdoor porch project, quickly turned into renovating our guest bathroom, kitchen area, laundry closet, side entrance/mudroom area, foyer, and upstairs hallway - complete with wainscotting throughout. They also replaced all interior and exterior doors and all interior light fixtures. We couldn't be happier with the results and plan to have them back soon to update our finished basement. The best move I did was to hire Metacom Construction company. They are every bit as good as all the reviews say. We purchased this house in Rehoboth and contracted them to reside our house, build a garage, install a new deck, install new windows, new entry doors plus landscape with walkways and fencing. Every job was done to my total satisfaction. The entire crew of Chris, Derrick, Tony, Joe, and Donny are polite, professional and competent. I've attached one before and some after pics. They are starting to redo my front entry and come spring will be back for landscaping.

Chris and the team were extremely professional and efficient. They framed our entire two floor addition, installed vinyl siding on entire house, installed windows and doors, etc. We are so pleased with their work. They exceeded our expectations, and we would highly recommend them.

I had a few really old windows that started leaking. I reached out to Chris at Metacom. He was able to come out, take a look, and get them replaced. The price was great only surpassed by the quality of the work which was superb. Definitely would recommend and use again.

We had Metacom Construction build an addition on our house including a bedroom and bathroom. The company does a great job keeping the project on track and handled all of the necessary permitting requirements from the city. Their team was patient and thorough during the design phase and helped us conceptualize our vision. We had a great experience working with the owners, Chris and Derrick and their team. The Metacom team recently demoed our 30 year old deck and rebuilt a new one with an additional lower section. They were awesome to work with, went above and beyond, and we will definitely be using them for future projects!

Ask and you shall receive! Chris, Derrick, Tony and Joe brought our shed dreams to life! Not only were they super responsive to our initial request, Chris provided a vision instantly. Aside from their promptness to our request, it was less than a week before they had come out to start prepping the area for where the shed would be built. It is spacious and allows for plenty of storage without feeling overwhelmed. Since the shed is fairly new to us, we don't have it truly organized yet but we hope to store pool items, patio cushions and lawn equipment inside. We are already talking about Metacom coming back out to build stairs to go into our brand new pool. I would recommend Chris and Derrick to anyone looking for a job well done. They are not only wonderful but they follow through and are eager to work - that to me is priceless!! Thanks again guys!

I was looking into building an addition in Cumberland, RI and contacted Metacom Construction. They handled everything from framing to paint and sourced every sub contractor we needed. Can’t recommend these guys enough.

Chris helped to repair shotty contractor work on my deck. He extended it to reach to my pool, which he also build a 5ft wide deck around the sides of.

I'm incredibly pleased with the outcome, and the price was less than half of what we paid the first contractor for the smaller, poorly built deck.

Metacom Construction remodeled my basement. Can't thank Chris and his team enough for the amazing job they did. We put in new floor tiles, added a new bathroom and they helped us find an electrician through their general contracting services. Excited for the next project!

We contracted with Metacom Construction Inc. to replace our 14.5' X 16' deck with a four season room (sun room). We worked with Chris Jansen from beginning to end. We worked together to complete the design that met our dream to create a room to be used for all seasons. Chris presented us with a fair contract and completed all specs perfectly. I had the pleasure of having Chris and the Metacom team work on my home this past summer. Like most, I am very selective when it comes to choosing a contractor. I can honestly say with the utmost confidence, you will not find anyone better. Not only did the project come out amazing, but they showed the highest level of respect for my home and my family.

Metacom removed a sliding door in my master bedroom, reframed the wall, and installed a beautiful window. In addition, they went out of their way to repair and replace numerous sections of vinyl siding. Every day they showed up on time, were transparent about their pricing/contract, and assured my family and I were comfortable with their work schedule and use of my home.

Fantastic crew! I’ve been imagining this deck around my above ground pool forever and they delivered. Chris is very easy to work with and really takes pride in his work. If he felt something was off he would instruct his crew to do it again. They were all extremely respectful of our home and our dogs. Making sure they always closed all exits so they couldn’t get out. I will be using them again for any construction projects moving forward.

I had Chris come out and do a complete upgrade on the exterior of my home. He changed out both my doors, changed multiple windows, and removed and replaced the siding and trim on the entire home.

We couldn’t be happier with the results, and working with him is a breeze. I plan on using for future projects.
