Roof was leaking into the living room. Rodney came in and quickly went to work. He pin pointed the source of the problem. After fixing our roof, he was nice enough to clean up. Rodney was kind and respectful. The job was done in just a few hours.

NOTICE TO HOME WARRANTY CUSTOMERS: We filed a service claim with our home warranty and Rodney from Merril came out to look at our roof leak. The total price including what the warranty covered was LARGELY inflated. I talked to another contractor that I found and received an estimate that was LOWER than half the price. The other contractor itemized the materials and labor too! I had no reason to doubt they wouldn't have done the same quality repair but at less than half the price. I wanted to share this in hopes of helping another customer. I suspect because this business has an agreement with a warranty company the prices are SUPER INFLATED... do your own reseach!

If I remember correctly, the owner of the company came to my home after being dispatched by my home warranty company, American Home Shield. I do not remember the guy's name but he was very cordial and did good work. My roof has not leaked since. He even kept in touch over several weeks, texting me, to ask how the work was holding up and to make sure we were no longer having any issues. Would even call/text after rainy days. Very professional, nice and good at what he does.

Merrill Building called me on Halloween to schedule repair on two holes in my drywall left by a plumbing company. I was given a date of 06NOV for them to stop by and complete the repair. Simply said, Merrill Building was a no call no show. I contacted American Home Shield and explained what happened and Merrill texted me to repair the dry wall later that day. I’d already inconvenienced someone else to wait for them to not show up at the originally scheduled day and timeframe then I had to leave work early for the second appointment a week later. I did not appreciate the lack of professionalism due to their failure to be present, communicate or follow through.

Excellent service, from start to finish. As the daughter of a contractor I can honestly say I would without a doubt trust them with any jobs I have in the future. Responsive, professional and thorough.

Rodney came out to assess a leak I had in my roof. He quickly determined the problem and repaired the issue with great technical expertise and knowledge. Not only did he perform a repair, but shared his extensive knowledge on what would cause the problem and showed me how to fix it if I come across a similar issue down the line. Was very polite and very professional. Would 10/10 recommend any day of the week.

Merrill Building was assigned by my home warranty for a roof leak. He was very responsive and explained clearly what was wrong and got the problem resolved.

He's assigned as a contractor thru American home shield. He came out to look at work that needed to be done to my ceiling. He took pictures and stated he needed to get back in contact with them. Well that's been 2 weeks now and he won't answer his phone or return phone calls.

Excellent quality carpentry work weather interior or exterior. Attention to detail is evident
and professionalism exhibited on each project. Realistic projections on time to completion and reasonable pricing make Merrill a good choice for new builds or remodels. Thanks for your help in the past, Rod. Look forward to future projects,
