We got 3 bids, Mears was competitive, but one bid came in with more materials included. Mears matched that bid, no problem. We wanted to go with Mears initially because of their great reviews, and job was quoted by the owner Ben. They did great work. Fernando was our project manager, excellent work. His whole crew rocked. Excellent workmanship. Communication from their office was excellent. They also did a great job new gutters. Only critique is we found several nails around our property. Overall i would highly recommend for a great new roof.

Mears repaired our roof several years ago and replaced it recently. When we hired them for the repair, they were able to come out quickly to help with a major leak we were experiencing during a winter storm. They found and fixed the cause of the leak (a mistake by a previous roofer) quickly and didn't try to upsell us on anything. We had such a great experience that we invited them to bid and hired them for our recent roof replacement. Pricing was transparent, we got daily updates on the progress, there was very little damage to the extensive plants/landscaping we have around the house, and the owner visited mid-job to make sure any of my concerns or questions were addressed. Time will tell on the quality of the replacement but I will make sure to remember to update this review if we experience problems with the install in the future - so if the original review is still standing then so is the roof lol

We got 3 bids for a new roof from companies who all had good reviews. Mears came in with the strongest bid. No hard sell. Absolutely fantastic when it came to communication. They showed up when they said they would and did what they claimed they could. We had a fair amount of roof rot which was not unexpected. They sent pics of the rot and pics of the replaced plywood. Didn't leave a mess. They even brought their own porta-potty. 10/10 would recommend this company.

Mears Roofing just replaced the roof on my small 2-bedroom home. It was a surprisingly easy process on my end. Ben came out and walked me through my options in a way that felt completely straightforward and up-front. They scheduled me in fairly quickly and got my roof done in just two days. They protected my dahlias and cleaned up thoroughly. I would use Mears for any roofing projects I find myself needing going forward.

Ben actually took the time to climb up on the roof and do a quote. Once he saw that the leak was just some missing caulk he decided to caulk it for free. Skylight hasn't leaked since and I know who I'm calling for ANY future roof work. Mears has 100% earned my business.

Son called Mears Roofing about a small leak in a skylight. They came out repaired a small seal issue, no charge. In these times I was shocked and happily surprised. Will definitely hire for any future needs. Very grateful for their service, much appreciated. Highly recommend!

First of all, if all you read is this first line, then your search for a roofer is over. Mears are great!
How we ended up with Mears is a longer story. We put a 40-year roof on our house when we built it in 2008. In 2021 – 2022 I noticed some irregularities. With a little research including the brand of shingle on our roof and who those authorized installers are, I selected Mears Roofing Company to look at our roof. With just a brief phone call, I had a representative come by and remove a couple shingles, which were submitted to the manufacturer.
In a reasonable amount of time, I learned the shingles were covered under warranty and I would be getting only the materials to replace my roof. It was my responsibility to pay the labor to remove and install the new roof. I never buy extended warranties or advanced warranties, maybe I should have in this case. It cost me 30k!
Mears Roofing Company stayed connected with me for a full year while I gathered the funds to pay for the new roof. They did offer financing, but we wanted to pay cash for it.
On the agreed date, their crew showed up, removed nearly 78 square of roofing and reinstalled the same all in 5 working days. The job was finished with a thorough clean up with which we were pleased. A couple days after completing it, one of their quality control members came by to make sure we were happy and to thoroughly inspect the roof.
I’m a construction contractor of 35 years and a homeowner who without hesitation would recommend Mears for your roofing needs.

I can't imagine a roof replacement can go better than the experience we just had. We have a mid-century home with a tricky gutter system-Ben gave us options that allowed us to keep the design of the home intact. From the initial estimate through all the interactions with each employee, we were impressed with their professionalism and friendliness. They showed up early, worked hard, and finished a day early! I'm just thrilled to recommend them!

I live in an HOA that has specific requirements for roofing materials and warranty to be approved before replacing our roof. I was given a recommendation to Mears from a close friend that had their roof replaced just a few weeks prior. I called and spoke to Erica at the office in early July. Ben, the owner came out and provided two bids which I opted to go with GAF Timberline HDZ shingles. My roof required above average work/labor due to pulling off the old cedar shake that was aged and in poor shape, and I did not want Cedar Shake. Ben provided me a quote within 1 business day, and to my amazement my HOA approved withing 2 days. The team of roofers were on the project within one week of my quote and the entire project was completed within 6 days. I highly recommend Mears and their team of professional installers. The team’s commitment to quality and clean up was impeccable. The roofers worked long days 7:30 a.m. -7:00 p.m. daily to complete the job within a week, and they cleaned up the area and around my home nightly before they left at the end of each day. I went with Mears because my friend had such a great experience, and I read the reviews where many others had given a top score and it just felt like the right choice. The overall cost was less than I had been quoted by other companies and the quality was superior. I’m happy I chose Mears and highly recommend them to anyone I know looking to have a roof replacement.

Amber gave me addresses of homes in my area so i could see their work and Ben made a special trip to my home with samples so I could be sure about shingle color and accessories. The crew was professional and the clean-up was perfect. I would highly recommend Mears Roofing to anyone.

Hired to reroof our home in December 2021. The project manager Antonio came out to do the bid, didn't say much besides taking measurements but he was very friendly. Received an emailed quote the next day with everything broken out. Not the first roof I've replaced so really appreciated just getting the information and not a huge sales pitch about how they're better than everyone else.

Crew came out and did the roof in two days in the rain! They did a great job, although finishing in the dark felt rushed on the second day and would have preferred them to finish during the day for cleanup purposes, but I understand when it gets dark at 4:30. Mears sent a TPO specialist out the next day to seal a dead valley above our garage. Very professional and did a great job sealing a leak we had. Antonio came back and made a punch-list of things for the crew to fix which were accomplished no problem and felt good having them come back to check on the project.
Hired Mears because of the great reviews and would do it again! They quoted a great price for the product I wanted (GAF, TPO in valley, and a fascia replacement) and were very professional with fast responses from the office.

Only issues were minor; quite a bit of nail and plastic debris left around the site, their truck left a fairly large oil spot on the driveway (washed away now), and they cleaned the gutters out with a leaf blower. Very effective to clean the gutters, but left all the windows streaked and dirty.

If you're wanted a roof replaced, do yourself a favor and add Mears to a shortlist for quotes!

Ben and company were very polite and honest. My roof has been an issue for a while and they took care of me!!! They went over and above. I will be using them for my next roofing project.

We chose Mears roofing to do our roof and they have been great. They were on time and on budget. I had an issue that I think is our siding contractor. The siding contractor said it was the roofer. When I called Mears about it they didn't hesitate they said they would come and fix it. No hassle no haggling no blaming someone else. They are great!

Ben's crew did my roof and a solar tube and 3 skylights at a very fair price. The work was excellent, and crew friendly and respectful. Arthur did an excellent job framing in the skylights! I have had small requests and the office has responded very fast and in a concerned manner. I recommend Mears Roofing without hesitation, very pleased!

Mears Roofing did a fantastic job on our roof. Ashley called me everyday, while I was at work, to give updates. They kept my property clean and the crew was great. They weren’t the highest priced nor the lowest.but their customer service and their quality is second to none in my opinion.

Mears Roofing provides excellent customer service. From the up-front, no pressure consultation, to the regular progress updates, and the quality work Mears far exceeded my expectations. From the initial inspection and bid to the final inspection, Mears completed the work with great care and completeness. My house was architect designed and constructed in the '50s with several unique features. Another roofing contractor (with excellent reviews) recommended significant changes to the designs of the attic ventilation, atrium, and gutters that would have added $20k to the project cost. Ben put together a bid that was exactly what I needed and nothing more. Communication was excellent.

I met the owner Ben when he came out for a consultation and bid. He is very nice and easy to talk to. I had a metal roof torn off and replaced on my garage by Arthur and his crew. Arthur is highly knowledgeable and I believe that he can do anything roof related top notch. They were on time each day and very organized and professional. I would highly recommend Mears Roofing to anybody looking for a no hassle job.

Everyone that we dealt with were very professional and helpful. They came when out looked at our roof and fixed it the same day. The price was less by more than half of the other companies that came out. Will definitely call Mears when ready to have a new roof done.

I couldn’t say enough good things about this company! We were lucky enough to win a drawing for a free roof! They showed up tore off the old roof and put a new one on all in one day! I was very impressed by how fast and hard they worked. Would recommend to anyone and everyone!

Ben showed up on time and is very knowledgeable and even recommends that one previous roof we were told need to be ripped off and replace that he could do some roof adjustment on the flashing and the boots and replace the old skylights and bad flashing job and that will saves us thousands and still have 15 years on this three year newly incorrectly installed roof. A real professional and much appreciated in today roofing industry. Also very honest about putting one laying of plywood on our car deck roof substrate that we are thinking of replacing and are honest about the cost and the needs to do it right for warranty to be valid for many years of worry-free roof. His company will take care of everything if things leak or develop in the future. Unlike some others that I dealt with recently (lack of info, too much scare tactics, etc and pressure). Ben is real down to earth and just telling me the facts so I can make the right decision.

They were scheduled to come between 12:30 pm and 1 pm, but no one showed up but I got a email for feedback. I submitted a feedback and got a call immediately. They said they are running late and will be here in an hour. The guy walked me thru everything and didn't try to sell me things that I didn't need unlike other companies that checked my roof .All of them told me different issues and tried to sell me what I didn;t need.
I will give them a call first before I call others if I have more issues.

Ben was great. He let me know that my roof has 10 more years left and needs 3 minor repairs. I appreciate his honesty. I am looking forward to having them perform the repairs needed.

I have been in construction for over 30 yrs and needed a metal roof installed on my latest project. Mears was excellent. They sent Artur, their metal roof installer, and he was amazing. He was a fast worker. On the other hand, he also took his time to contemplate on how to install our two gazebo roofs and did a beautiful job when he was done. He was always professional and the job site was spotless at the end of each day. There were a few problems delaying the job that has more to do with material handling than any on-the-job difficulties. I highly recommend them and Artur, specifically.

They did my roof a few years back and I would definitely use them again. They did a little damage to a wood lawn chair when throwing the derby down. I simply told them where I purchased them and they showed up with not 1 but 2 chairs. Just good people who did a good job at a great price!

I needed to have my entire roof replaced following a wind storm. Mears roofing made the process as painless as possible and scheduled me for a complete tear off and replacement. The whole process took a day and a half and when they were done there was no mess, the roof looked great and my yard and driveway were clean. Mears roofing even worked with me by patiently waiting over two weeks for my insurance check to arrive to cover the cost of the repairs. They're a great company and do great work.

We had our roof done by Mears recently, and overall we just keep thanking our lucky stars we picked this family operation to deal with. Ben is easy going, great at being the bridge between customers and his crew. Jackie oversees the entire business and keeps the trains on time.
Admittedly, I am a very picky person. But we are who we are, and when the Mears roofing job was done there were a few small things not quite to my liking, so I wrote that tough email asking the Office Manager Ericka to pass my issues onto the owners.
To my surprise, that same day the owners came out, and both Ben and Jackie Mears handled my requests with ease and grace. I so appreciate they stood around with me to take in my nit-picky things. They were friendly and accommodating, and worked very hard to make me happy, which I appreciate. I think because it is a woman owned and managed company that made it easier for us to communicate, for me to express my concerns, they listened, I felt heard and they kept me in the loop throughout this large project. I would recommend them to everyone.

We received quotes from 3 different places. Mears wasn't the cheapest nor the most expensive. Their quote was broken out in such a way that you knew EXACTLY what you were paying for. Work was done professionally and timely. They left the yard and driveway spotless. Ben the owner was the one that came out after completion to do a final walk thru. There was 1 minor issue with the reattachment of the patio awning that was corrected immediately. The salesman came out to give us an estimate on one of the worst weather days and followed up timely. He even answered his cell phone on the weekend to answer any questions we had. Definitely recommend this company!!!!
