I had an existing small deck I wanted to have replaced with some good quality hardwood. Samuel Garfield came out to give me an estimate to replace my existing deck with a good quality composite product. Although I really loved the size of my existing deck, Samuel understood our needs and helped design a layout that worked great for both my wife and myself, shrinking it to fit our budget. My existing wood deck was 3.5 inches, and my new composite deck is 5.5 inches so we saved a lot of money on material and hardware. Dark Cocoa is mold resistant and cooler on your feet than wood. Although I opted to not replace my roof at this time, the process of getting an estimate was easy and informative. I felt the value of the replacement would be worthwhile and attractive but not needed quite yet. I'll reach out again down the road.

Crews are fifty fifty, management is poor. I was a Project Manager and got 3 raises is less than 60 days, so obviously was doing well, really well. But the owner is a poor communicator and thinks I don't listen and fired me. Knowing how they hire and run their people, I do not recommend.

Ben was wonderful. He came out promptly, listened to what we had in mind and was excited about the work. Very professional and understanding about any changes we came up with. His work looks professional as does he. Would use him for any home improvements in a hearbeat!

Great experience. I have had many projects done over the years. This company has the communication and customer service that was such a pleasant surprise! Great company and great people!

We had Evergreen Home Exteriors give us an estimate to to put Hardy plank siding on our house. Shaun came out look at the house . He came back the next day with the estimate. It was comparable to the other bid we got. When the job started we met John the forman and crew. They where very professional and good at their job.

Hoping to help others with a warning about this company.
We chose Evergreen after seeing good reviews and ratings, but the company has recently gone through many management changes that have impacted their reliability and ethics.
We selected Evergreen to construct a roofed patio. We had to repeatedly request the illustrated plan of the proposed job.
The project was supposed to take approximately 12 days, as per their sales rep. The job was started but then delayed for weeks, as they explained that they began the wrong part of the project first. They were also short staffed, so we were put on hold until other clients' projects were completed.
When the roofed structure was said to be complete, there were bare wood panels above the patio area. All nails were exposed and product writing was clearly visible, leaving an unfinished and unsightly appearance. $32,000 for an incomplete structure. When we brought this to the attention of the project manager, we were told that adding soffits to make it look finished would be an additional charge, totaling a ridiculous $43,000 for the structure and patio! We were stuck at this point and needed to have the project completed. Throughout, when we requested itemization of exact charges for labor, materials, etc, we were told that they don't do that. *Note: The patio was constructed nicely, and the two men who did the job were meticulous.
Then came the leakage - Our covered patio was getting drenched when it rained. They sent someone out who stated that we needed a gutter on the patio roof. We were told to hire a company for the fix and that Evergreen would take care of it. When requesting compensation, we were ignored. No callbacks, no message replies. The project manager as well as the person who determined the gutter issue had left the company. When we finally spoke to the owner, he promised to look into it and get back to us. Crickets! No response, no reply.
We were fooled. Helping others to avoid the same fate.

Do not use this company. Hired them to install a patio. Job took 3 times longer than promised. I was told we wouldn't be charged for travel time to and from my home. A total lie. Original quote was 32 thousand which ended up being 43 thousand because of things that should've been included such as finishing the roof which was bare wood with nails sticking out of it. Extra thousands if I wanted it finished. And on and on. Patio was continually getting flooded because they didn't install a gutter on it. I was told to get it done by a gutter company and they would "take care of it". When I told them I did as they said, they repeatedly said they would take care of it. After weeks of asking about it , they ghosted me. Refused to answer my phone calls, messages, emails, messages on their builders site, nothing. Just disappeared. So not only dishonest and extorting me but too much of a coward to even tell me to screw off. Lesson learned.

Alfredo and his partner did a great job building our deck and replacing a window with a sliding glass door! It will be used regularly, especially when spring and summer get here. Can't wait!

Evergreen just recently replaced our roof in Sequim, WA. They did a great job – fantastic communication throughout, left the jobsite clean, and got the roof done in a professional manner in a very short amount of time. Would highly recommend!

Unprofessional and inflexible behavior by the owner Jon Jordan. He has no basic manners & etiquettes, is rude and threatening, and comes up with an excuse for his behavior and conveniently blames others. Terrible experience dealing with him and I wouldn’t recommend him or his company to others. The project was delayed by 4 months and he expects a 5- star rating, he is definitely delusional, what a joke!!

Projects usually have a rocky start, but Kevin W. made that process easy and even enjoyable. I had spent months getting multiple quotes and estimates, getting referrals, checking company reviews, and balancing finances and calendars. They all fell into place when Kevin made it happen. He is very professional yet pleasant and personable. And rare in this field, he is very very honest, patient and accommodating.

Kevin answered all my questions, and went the extra mile in writing up different options and quotes to get something that balanced my WANTS, my actual NEEDS, and my BUDGET! His write-up’s, drawings, photos and videos were excellent and explicit. Not out to make a quick sale or fudge paperwork that would over promise yet under deliver. Everything was spelled out so well that I didn’t think anything could go wrong.

Of course, nothing ever goes perfect when you have different players and humans in the mix (communication gaps, illness, language barriers, tech problems) but the company responded timely and appropriately… still completing the scope and quality of the work in the timeframe provided. Completed a big roofing project in 2-1/2 days. So their timely response and the way they handled it still rates 5 stars.

Kevin and the rest of Team Evergreen are great . I made it a point to visit their office to meet the project team and even chanced to meet the owner. They are very knowledgeable and up-to-date on the most current/best materials, products, standards, and even software. They use Builder Trend software app to organize, communicate, and share files and photos in daily logs to manage the project from start to finish. It’s a company whose work ethics and customer service make you want to keep using them again and again. And I will! In fact, I am already lined up for new siding!!!!

We had a very positive experience with Evergreen Exteriors. Our representative Ben Beecher is a consummate pro and back office assistance was also on top of issues when we encountered them.

Working with Kevin was great getting the scope worked out on our siding job. I'm still waiting for a project manager to contact me to give me a start date.

So far, their communication and response to issues is amazing. Their workers are friendly and knowledgeable. And they really helped us get through a very sticky financial situation to get the work approved. Kevin, the estimator, has great customer service skills and explains things very well. Can't recommend enough.

Great communication before and during the installation. The quality of the installation was superb. I highly recommend this company for your siding replacement.

Had them install a deck. Ben was great to work with. Project manager was a little slow to communicate once permit was approved but project started within a few weeks of that. Final product was very good - better than anticipated and work crew was very accommodating of our tiny worksite with multiple trades in at the same time.

We started the process of getting a deck extension installed in September of 23... It is now May and they still haven't completed the deck. I have multiple banisters that are falling off, many just tacked in place. The spacing of the banisters looks like a child installed them, no tape measure used. It is very dangerous for my kids. They aren't returning my calls either. Do not recommend this company!

I had the siding replaced on my entire home recently going from a cedar siding from the 50s to a cement shingle. The service itself was great and quick. The job for my over 2000 sq ft home was done in a week. The cleanup was a bit slow but to no fault of evergreen as it was the honey bucket company that took a while to pick it up from my drive way. When gathering quotes they were transparent with pricing and every step, playing out the various scenarios with me. If i need any exterior work done in the future they will be my first contact!

Evergreen gave us a 5 star experience from start to finish. They were flexible, informative, competitive and professional. Our home looks incredible and was well taken care of. We could not recommend more

I called Evergreen Exteriors because I was selected for a city inspection on one of my rental properties. The inspection was asinine, and the codes they were trying to enforce were absolutely ridiculous. Regardless, I needed to be in compliance, and I only had a few days to do so. I spoke with John about a few of the issues to be rectified for the city and the time budget I was allotted. Thankfully Jon was able to get to the property and see what needed to be done in a timely matter and at the most affordable cost after talking to five other establishments.

I honestly wish I would’ve saved my time by contacting these guys first and having the time efficient and effective employees establish a game plan for me. I’ve been in constant contact with John and I couldn’t be happier with the level of communication and knowledge portrayed by him. I don’t think I will be contacting anyone else for my future maintenance or repairs.

This review is sent with a lot of mixed emotions. The actual individuals who did the siding did a great job when they showed up. I gather they are highly underpaid by the company vs the cost to customer. This is more of review of the business teams and getting your siding quote and your roofing quote. Make sure that the person actually looks at the project at hand. In my case, they didn’t notice that there were four layers of roofing which other bids had called out, and we had to do a change of work order in the middle of the work. It was costly, annoying, and unfortunate for both parties. In addition, if you like to chase and practically harass the team to get the work done, then you’re in the right company. But for me, that’s not really something I enjoy. If I were you, I would run not walk towards another siding contractor. For example, we had a small repair job on our house, and in the time that we still have not received the paperwork, we have already contracted another company And had the work done. This is all after doing both the roof and the siding at a quite substantial amount of money. I think the project managers and the sales people there are nice enough people but I’m really not sure about how this business is afloat.

Jon and the whole crew have been a pleasure to work with, despite MY delays on remodel that they have have to work around. The end product and workmanship is top notch, when I do the rest of remodel on my home they will be my first call.

I have to say we have been very satisfied with Evergreen Home Exteriors my contact person Jon was very helpful in explaining any questions I had and was always available answering my phone or texts. The crew he sent out to us was always respectful the only problem was a language barrier but we worked thru that with Jon. I would definitely refer Evergreen to my friends and family.

This review is for a project that took place during the fall of 2022. In a nutshell, I had four different project managers assigned to me throughout the project (which lasted about 4 months), and neither of them came on site once the project started (with the exception of the last project manager, Jon Scholer, who came on site at the very end and was AWESOME... kuddos to him!). Mr. Scholer was professional, knowledgeable and really good to work with and I believe that he has worked diligently over this past year to improve things at Evergreen. If I had the opportunity to work with this project manager again, in another capacity, I would take it.

Here are the details of my experience: The first installation crew did not know how to properly flash a window sill (they had gaps in the Vycor flashing, didn't wrap the sill properly, etc. etc.). I called this to the PM's attention but nothing was done. This crew was let go and a replacement crew came in. Windows were utlimately installed three times, and some of the window nail flanges and seals suffered damage, which nobody at Evergreen acknoledged despite me calling it to their attention in writing.

A few windows/doors were delayed, which I had informed all project managers in advance of the project start, and was assured it would be okay as long as we agreed on a percentage of payment hold back, which we did agree to. Once the founder of the company found out about the window/door delays, however, he texted me in an aggressive, threatening tone. He said my only options were to allow them to finish the project immediately (which was impossible because we didn't have the remaining windows or doors), or pay them in full immediately and they would return after the doors/windows arrived a few months later. Otherwise he would sue me and put a lien on my home. He and I hadn't even spoken prior to that, and it was shocking to get such an aggressive text from an owner who never even heard my side of the story…

Fortunately the quality of our finished product looks good. I was hopeful for this company and wanted to have a great experience, but due to the poor project management experience, inexperienced subcontractors who caused damage and significant delays, and an angry business owner who lacked professionalism, I cannot recommend this company based on my multitue of negative experiences a year ago. Hopefully things have improved, and if you do work with Evergreen, it is imperative that you have the project manager, Jon Scholer, assigned to your project.

The team at Evergreen were a pleasure to work with from David coming out and doing the initial estimate, to Alonna, Brandon, Drew, and Josiah taking care of all the permits, paperwork and finances. last but not least Enrique, the installer was a absolute beast on the job site he did an amazing job on our front porch and deck addition to our home. I was also very impressed with use of Builder Trend which is their project management app that I had downloaded to my phone. I was never out of the loop and always had any questions or concerns addressed in a timely and professional manner. If you are looking for a high quality contractor, look no further.

Had deck, stairs, skirting and siding replaced on a very old and battered home. Great job. Every job had an excellent finish. 10 stars. So easy to work with.

Very professional and were willing to go the extra effort to clean my skylights , thinking about having them reroof my utility shed when I can afford it

We are very happy with our composite deck re-cover (we chose to keep the base/beams to save money because they have lots of life left in them as opposed to the deck boards, stairs, and railings.) It is gorgeous, quiet to walk on for a change, and should not need maintenance for several years unlike the pressure-treated, stained, wooden deck boards, stairs, and railings. They we are skillfully able to rebuild one section of the base which was failing/settling. Benito “Benny” Diaz and his brother (apologies for not getting his name) did the actual carpentry. I have never seen such precision anywhere ever. They put in 10-12 hour days in 80-95 degree weather and got the project done in about 5 days. Thank you! Well worth the investment!

In the summer of 2019 I hired Evergreen Home Exteriors to fix my failing deck. The whole project was a rollercoaster from the beginning. The crew that started made several major mistakes and was eventually fired by Evergreen. The second crew fixed the major mistakes and finished the job but left one major mistake.
From 2019 to 2023 I tried to get the company to fix the problem but had no success.
In July 2023 the warranty manager (Jon) reached out to us and changed everything around. He took responsibility for the lack of follow through and came up with a plan to fix the issue. He kept me in the loop and performed the necessary work to rectify the defects in workmanship.
Jon informed us that the people responsible for delaying our warranty claim are no longer at the company. The new leadership has a proactive policy for resolving customer claims and ensuring a good experience. Evergreen has practically built the entire deck twice. This is a testament to me of their dedication to quality and customer satisfaction.
For me this huge headache is further evidence that people need to advocate for themselves when dealing with contractors. Always get multiple quotes and never make the final payment until everything is done to your satisfaction.

I was impressed by the way your company handled the estimate process. I talked with at least a dozen contractors. Most of them didn't write anything down and none submitted a proper estimate. Your crew did a very nice job and helped me by pointing out a wood rot situation and properly fixing it. The finished result is exactly what I wanted and at a fair price as quoted. I would use this company again.

We recently hired Evergreen to redo our deck, which was previously original Trex that had not weathered well. We got quotes from 5 companies and Evergreen was right within the others. We like that they were willing to work with us to stay as close to budget as possible. We went with Fiberon decking, which we are loving, and pressure treated wood railing with a drinks rail. We liked how upfront they were with all the costs and the final quote broke everything down by price. Not all companies did that. We got lucky and they were able to start in advance of the 8 week projected start time and they finished within 2 weeks! They used Buildertrend and were super communicative throughout the whole process. If we had any questions, our project manager Steven was on the phone with us within the hour. The project management team, Steven and Alonna, were so friendly! And the crews working on the deck were super respectful and cleaned up everything nicely once the project was completed. There was some confusion toward the end on when the deck would be finished and there was a delivery issue when their truck broke down but they were so communicative and solution oriented the entire time. No project is without some hiccups. Overall, we are super happy with our new deck and so excited to be able to enjoy it all summer! I would definitely recommend Evergreen for a new deck!

Lisa came out to give us an estimate on our kitchen we wanted remodeled. We have never had a more professional estimate. She covered the details of the job fully. What to expect, timelines and they even had a project manager for us. Lisa gave us stellar design ideas and educated us on a kitchen remodel project. I am extremely satisfied for the brand new total re-sheet and new Timberline roof. Awesome job and I would highly recommend Evergreen to anybody interested in a new roof. One day install and BAM I have a new roof that I watched be put together, start to finish. They cleaned up everything when they finished like they were never there, except for the beautiful roof! This company does amazing work! The employee and employers are very professional and listen to what we, as customers, want.

First, the quoting process was thorough and accurate. Lots of discussion and questions around what we wanted and how to get maximum value from our budget. Then the communication was excellent. The team set expectations for material delivery, set up the porta-potty and the dumpster and showed up on time to begin demolition. The team finished on-time and we’re very good at cleaning up the construction debris. Always polite and aware of my time when they needed questions answered. Great experience and would highly recommend.

Our home makeover went off without a hitch thanks to Evergreen. We had several projects going at once, Windows, Siding and a roof. Even with all the moving parts Evergreen managed the process so efficiently it was done 2 weeks before they had promised. Great company. We highly recommend!

Got quoted over $50,000.00 for an approx 12’x30’ deck 4’ off the ground with 2 sets of stairs…asked for cheapest materials and best price. 50+k!!!! Maybe it is fancy high end deck building I don’t understand but it feels more like over estimating costs from my wallet. They were courteous yes, but wow! 4 times our other 2 quotes! Just a heads up! Buyer beware!

My wife and I went to the Seattle Home show on a mission to find a place to do a bathroom remodel that we have been looking forward to getting done.
While there, we happened upon Evergreen Home (kitchen and bathroom division). The lady working the booth, Lisa, was very helpful and pleasant to deal with. She took our info and set up a day and time to have someone out to take a look at the job. We watched her write the appointment in their book, she gave us some info about the guy who would be handing our appointment and texted us later that day to confirm our names.
The date of the appointment came and when no one showed, my wife called the office number we were given at the Home Show. The woman who answered (not Lisa) told her that they didn't show us having an appointment that day and that our names weren't even in their system. At that point they offered to schedule us an appointment, but made no apology and showed no remorse over the mistake on their end. My wife had to take time off work to be home for that appointment and right now time off is very hard to come by. We are business owners and understand that scheduling mistakes happen and things get missed, so we could have dealt with that. However, the fact that it doesn't seem as though they cared (or even pretended to care) about an inconvenience to a potential customer is what bothers me. Needless say, we have decided to move forward with a different company (when we find one).

Finally my porch project is done, thanks the manager and crews for doing their work well. I like my new sun room.

We had a new deck added to an existing one, and the whole project, though not too large, had to be vetted by the HOA and permitted by the county. As might be expected, the procedures were time consuming, leading to a sizeable delay in starting the project. Evergreen took the lead and shepherded everything through the permitting process and helped us avoid a great many headaches. When the project started, the crew, Drew and Brandon, were competent, communicative, and very friendly. As problems arose, as they must, they were very helpful in getting them resolved. We are very pleased with the finished product and with the experience of working with Evergreen, who communicated very regularly about the project and responded quickly when contacted. As smooth a process from start to finish as I could have hoped for. I wish that every project I have contracted for in the past had gone so well.

We loved our crew, they communicated with us every step of the way and kept us informed each day. They were polite and neat in their work. Quality of the work is great. There were two quality checks by supervisor's while working. We had terrible weather and they worked through these issues to get done and meet our goal.

Evergreen Homes, Installed a an amazing deck and Patio cover. Our family and dogs love it. The quality is amazing especially since it also comes with a long warranty. It only took about 1 week to complete the entire project. We love our deck.

The whole experience with this Company was courteous and professional. My wife and I are extremely pleased with the Deck and all the personnel we dealt with. They were kind and responsive to our needs, even when we made a change mid-way through the project. Thank you all for a totally satisfying experience from start to finish.

The communication with this company left much to be desired. After much frustration I finally got someone to listen to my complaints.
On the other hand, when I finally got someone to actually start working they were great. Jason and Tyler made up for the lack of caring from most of the rest of the company.
Thanks to Jason and Tyler, although 2 months later than when it was supposed to be constructed, I now have a beautiful new deck.

Confusing and Lengthy Process. To be fair, the actual team that did the install were pleasant, professional, and great work. In building a new 750 sq. ft. deck, I bid it out to five vendors. Evergreen was not the least expensive, but seemed the most professional. My warning to all is that there is a huge disparity between what the Sales Team will "sell" you, and what you get in the end. They underbid the project as they felt they would get good photos and reviews once built, and that would make up for it (according to the Sales guy). Not so much. I even had to call the owner (David) and explain to him what Sales said/did versus what I was presented with. He said that this was an on-going issue they recognized. Even the project manager said he was always having to deal with the customer on this Sales person's bids because they were never right. Wow...

When it came time to sign off on the scope of work, so many things were left off from the original bid, (plugs, fascia, etc.) I failed to catch these. It was a back and forth battle to get what was promised and they refused to deviate from the scope of work, even though the sales agreement said something different. I ended up paying more for items that were in the original bid, and they still ran out of product at the end. It felt like they were cutting corners to make up the $$$ they should have charged. I was so frustrated that I finally gave up and said I would finish the final bits.

I would not use them again for Deck building as this is not their main experience, the workmanship is okay, but not great. Spend a bit more and get a company that only does decks and you will be much happier in the long run.

Had a new composite deck installed on existing frame. Jessie (the Lead) and Jordan were great and solved any issues gladly. I did feel however that Tyson (Project Manager) could have been more involved. (Been onsite at start to introduce the workers and at end of job come by and sign off on the job. I would say 5 stars to the workers and 3 to 4 stars for the company involvement.

My sister is disabled and ready to sell her house. So I’ve been helping with the process. We submitted an inquiry on Angie’s list and literally after I clicked submit, somebody from evergreen called and it was like 730pm and they scheduled me for an estimator to come the next morning at 9am. I was running behind and the estimator was flexible and waited for me 10/10 recommend, gave reasonable bid and accepted

Our family wanted to create an outdoor living space and had a backyard deck installed. The Evergreen team was polite, professional and very responsive with any questions.

After 2 weeks worth of estimates I finally decided on Evergreen. I was impressed with the professionalism they had and comfort. The estimator came and brought multiple samples for me to choose from (I love options!) and answered every question I had as well as any other necessary information. They weren’t too pushy like they were just trying to sell me anything but rather more personable experience! I'll be referring them to everyone I know!

The mrs has been hounding me for months to get our deck replaced. After many failed attempts at a DIY project we finally gave Evergreen home exteriors a call. An estimator showed up the next day and showed me where I was going wrong. I respected his honesty and decided to let the professionals do their job.

We’ve been talking about replacing our roof for over 2 years now and then we ran across a Facebook ad which peaked our interest and we were very impressed with the work we’ve seen. We submitted a request on Facebook and almost instantly someone called to get us setup with an estimator ! Finding GOOD contractors is the worst but Shaun was very attentive and informative and spoke with so much confidence me and my wife finally decided to pull the trigger.

My husband and I decided to renovate our Airbnb home in issaquah and based off the reviews Evergreen has the most and the highest rating for siding jobs in my area. So far they are punctual and gave us a pretty decent estimate. Our estimator even brought samples of materials Amanda sold us on the spot !

Great work when is eventually completed. I will be telling all my friends about how extremely professional the project manager was trying to be. Can't wait for project to be completely finished.
