Melbin Espana was the first to respond when I contacted several roofers to address issues with an old metal roof and a chimney leak. Melbin showed up on time to inspect the roof and make recommendations. We requested a quote which Melbin provided in a timely fashion. Melbin was very responsive when we asked for more details on the quote and for references. The references were very positive and we decided to go ahead. Melbin and his crew at M&D Roofing completed the work on schedule while we were away and on our return we were very pleased with the appearance of the roof and with the dry fireplace after the next rainstorm. We highly recommend M&D Roofing and will call them again for sure whenever we need any roof work.

Mel Estaban, owner of M&D Roofing, traveled all the way from Brewster to our Ulster County home to give us an estimate for a project that involved not only the aging wooden siding of house but also a complex drainage issue that was affecting our foundation. He got us an estimate quickly. Not long afterwards he arrived with his hardworking friendly crew. In an incredibly short time they not only fixed the drainage problem and installed gutters but also replaced the wooden siding with beautiful sage green board and batten vertical polymer siding - all at the same price as quoted in the original estimate. We were so pleased with the way the house looked that we also asked M&D to do the same thing with our garage. Many compliments followed from our neighbors, resulting in additional projects for M&D Roofing here in our small community. I highly recommend them.

I called this company about because I had a roof leak in my bedroom. He said he would come on Monday and check to see what was going on..I stayed home all day because he said he would arrive at 3pm.He came and told me to point out were it was.I showed him where it was he looked from the yard and said he needed to bring a ladder to check it out and would be back the next day.Red flag a roofer shows up in a truck without a ladder.What did I stay home for? Waited for him next day like he said and never showed up or called.Extremely unprofessional. If he didn’t want the job don’t lie or make me waste my time.As if this posting still no call. I would never hire this company.

Melbin was great to work with, providing terrific service. He got his crew to our house quickly and they finished our roof in a day at exactly the price he told us it would be.

Melbin arrived at my house on a Monday had a very reasonable estimate by Wednesday and work was completed by Friday. He work is extraordinary, clean up was impeccable. Would highly recommend him! Will definitely call on him again for other projects. This company was a great find!

Melbin came right away on a Friday and gave me a fair estimate that my insurance accepted. Job was completed the following Monday.
