Marcelo and his crew did a fantastic job removing and replacing my roof shingles, repairing the chimney bricks, replacing flashing and doing some stucco leak repair. The contract was clear and specific, permits were obtained and communication was consistent throughout the process. The job site was respectfully set up and cleanup was thorough. RJM roofing did an exceptional job. They removed the existing roof, replaced any damaged plywood and provided a new shingled roof. Marcello knows what is needed and provided Ice Shield, synthetic paper, starter shingles and drip edging. They also installed copper flashing at the chimney and aluminum roof boots for penetrations.

I hired RJM Best Roofing to replace an existing porch roof with EPDM Rubber Roofing, with AZEK soffit and facia trim boards around the perimeter.

Marcelo (the owner) and his crew arrived on time and worked very diligently on a very hot day to get the job done. They were fully prepared with any extra tools and materials that might have been required. They worked quietly and professionally and did a very nice job. When they were finished, they cleaned the site thoroughly and removed all of their debris. I would not hesitate to recommend them.

Marcelo and his team did an amazing job on my roof. They were able to remove 3 layers of shingles and add the new layer all in under 5 days. They were quick but also very precise with their work. 10 out of 10 would definitely recommend for any and all of your roofing needs.

I hired Marcelo and his crew for the second time to replace the gutters. He showed up on time and did great work again. The first time was when I had him to replace the flatroof above my sunroom. Marcello of RJM is a gentleman and a professional. He explained all the things the last roofer did wrong on my roof. He ripped off the old shingles, replaced some rotting boards, filled some gaps, put all new cooper flashing, new shingles and the roof looks beautiful. He also gave me the best price of all the roofers that quoted me. Dont bother calling any other roofer, just call Marcello!!

Marcelo and his team repaired a section of our slate roof at the back of our house since it had a leak. The team were courteous, cleaned up after themselves and made additional adjustments to ensure that the leak was fixed. Marcelo checked back in to make sure the leak was fixed and also repaired the flashing around our chimney too. Overall, I am pleased with the quality of the work and with communication with Marcelo.

I had the roof of my home replaced by Marcelo and his crew a few weeks ago. They did a great job. Marcelo coordinated the work so that the entire job of removing the old roof, installing the new roof and clean-up was completed in three consecutive days. My 70 year-old slate roof was in dire need of cleaning. A friend highly recommended Marcelo, who had cleaned her slate roof of a similar vintage 10 years ago. Slate roofs are beautiful and durable, but they have to be cleaned with care or leaks might occur afterwards. My friend attested that her roof had no leak for six years until a house expansion necessitated a whole roof replacement. This put my mind at peace.

Marcelo came to check out my roof without requiring my presence and provided a very reasonable quote. Today, he and his team came and did an amazing job cleaning the roof. I can again see the variations in the natural color of the slate.

I recently had the worst experience with Marcelo. He had helped me a roofing job prior and did okay....fast forward, I asked him to help with another roofing job and his true color came out (I regret ever reaching out to him). I explained to him that I am not ready to replace the roof and just needed to do a small patch to fix a leak. He kept putting immense pressure for me to do an extensive repair or replace the roof (none which I could do because my neighbor was not cooperating since it is a duplex and I am not ready to foot the whole bill). He finally agreed to do the patch work and we agreed that I will get back to him to confirm the day even though he was pressuring me to confirm right there on the call. The next day I texted him first thing in the morning to let him know that I want to do the work the following week. Marcelo took it upon himself to go fix the roof the same day I told him not to go. He not only went to my property without my permission but decided to put underlayment on top of the existing shingles (that had no problem) and nailing all over them. Now I am forced to replace those shingles because they have nails all over them and are bound to start leaking. He is now refusing to correct the issue at hand and trying to make me pay for work I did not ask for in the first place. Be extremely careful with him. He is not trustworthy and I also just found out, he is not licensed for this type of work. Stay away from him.....he is horrible!!!

My carpenter referred Marcelo for a job not related to roofing: waterproofing a walkway that was leaking into the house. It worked! The crew was very professional, cleaned up well after the job and showed up when they said they would.

RJM was so good I later hired the company to install new gutters. The whole project went smoothly and the gutters he chose are perfect. Highly recommend.

Marcelo is a great contractor. I found out about him from a neighbor friend. I had no idea the process for repairing a roof in Yonkers and he did the ground work for getting the permit and explain what needed to be done and how it will be done.
