Jen and Jeff were here on Monday, looked at job and were very quick to determine what needed to be done. Jen said that they needed a part that would have to be ordered and it probably would take a day or two. We were fine with that.Today I was pleasantly surprised when Justin called and said he had the part and he would come and fix the issue if it was a good time for us. He came within the hour and had the valve replaced in a timely manerq. All 3 of the employees that were here were very professional, knowledgeable and friendly. We wouldn't hesitate to call your company again if we have another plumbing issue in the future. Thanks to all of you!!

I had to have a continuous hit water heater replaced. Jenn, Alex, Garrett and Kelly were the three service technicians that I personally worked with. All were very professional and efficient. The job was done quickly. And I was extremely happy to have hot water without having to wait forever for my unit to kick on!!

We use McVehil at our hotels and are really happy with their work! They’re always fair. Recently, my home AC unit broke down, and McVehil came out almost right away. After looking at my options, I decided to get a new one since the old one was pretty old. I’m so glad I did—it’s very comfortable now!

First off, Morgan kept me in the loop throughout my entire repair process. Through setting up the appointment, ordering parts, working with my local water company and then the follow up appointment. Jenn did a great job on the initial diagnostic and explaining what would need to be done and then the follow up appointment. Prompt, polite and good follow through.

So after the severe June flooding in Ohio County, WV, we were experiencing severe sewage back up in our basement area. We were referred to McVehil Plumbing by Keltus, a family friend and employee of McVehil. They generously fit us in their busy schedule. Jenn diagnosed what she thought was the underlying issue and promptly returned with Ben and brought pretty advanced technology to fix the issue, checked our lines, and made sure everything was working normal before they left. I can’t say enough about this company’s professionalism, communication, efficiency, and the friendly service by Jenn and Ben, as well the reps that I spoke with in making the appointments. More importantly, their knowledge and skill in taking care of this serious issue was impressive. The charge was also less than another “national” plumbing service chain. We’re both relieved and pleased with the results from McVehil and they will be our plumbers for life if/when

McVehil saved the day this weekend! Through many unforseen circumstances we had a crappy old valve in our basement spring a leak at noon on a Friday before we were going to have company arrive at 5pm for the weekend. I called all over and McVehil helped us right away! Garrett arrived by 2pm and replaced our faulty valve quickly and exactly how we needed! As he was leaving we noticed our new fridge waterline was dripping and he took the extra time to ensure everything was tightened down and secure. We could not have gotten any luckier with this company and our technician, Garrett!

We are very satisfied with the service that we received from McVehils. We needed a whole new furnace and AC system and the time frame to get all that done was very sufficient. Anytime I would call for an update they were friendly and helpful. We had Justin and Alex come and do the work for us and they were great! We had an air conditioner and furnace installed in October 24 by another company. When the above 90 temps hit recently, our AC unit was struggling to keep our house cool. We reached out to the initial installer who came out to take a look, but he could not find anything wrong. We called McVehil’s for a second opinion. Justin serviced our unit and identified there was too much refrigerant in the unit. He removed the excess refrigerant and we have not had any issues since! Thank you McVehil’s and Justin!!

Our experience with McVehil Plumbing, Heating & Air Conditioning was great. My service request was scheduled for about 3 weeks into July and then changed to just a week away. The service tech, Justin immediately went to work checking over our A/C system to determine the issue. He checked the system and determined the issue(s) for the system failure and began making repairs. Although a few improvements required getting some new parts, he replaced the thermostat as the main issue. Our A/C began working immediately.

He ordered some additional parts for installation the following day but the A/C worked immediately in the 90+ degree heat. Those remaining minor (but important) issues were resolved and the entire system was repaired.

Excellent service and our issue was resolved. Considering his explanation and repair of our system without having to read a load of instructions or call for assistance, we will now have an annual checkup to continue our unit's updates.

Jeff is very knowledgeable and thorough. Not knowing when he would be able to come out, he called to see if he could help us with quick fix beforehand. Then, he showed up ahead of schedule to repair the heater - even took the time to explain the situation. Kelly in the office provided excellent customer service in following up with us. Great service all the way around!

July of 2024, we hired McVhil Plumbing, Heating and Cooling company to install a Minisplit Heating and Cooling System in our home. It was a pleasure to have them install our new system. It was the best decision we made for our comfort this past year. Yesterday Justin ran a check on our system and it was functioning as expected. He was efficient and answered any questions we might have. I highly recommend McVehil Plumbing, Heating & Cooling.

Called and left a message on answering machine earlier in the morning about leaking toilet that we had. Got a call back from woman a couple of hours later; much sooner than I had expected since it was right after Memorial Day weekend. Asked her to have someone come out to take a look at the leak and also I requested to have the heat pump check out for the start of the summer. She told us that they would send out a technician that could do both jobs and that was going be later that afternoon. Told her that would be fine since I had to run some errands. On way back from errands got a call from technician, told me he was Justin from McVehil and that he was on his way to my house. Justin was able to fix leaky toilet right away and was giving the heat pump the service check that I also requested. McVehil was great to deal with. They over exceeded my expectations and delivered as promised.

Jennifer came out to inspect a pipe for activity during a roof install, and was very quick and professional. Morgan from the office was also quick to respond to the need, and make sure everything went well. will use again, and highly recommend

I currently reside in Washington state but own a house in Greene Count, PA. The resident staying in the house said he was having problems with the lines backing up, I called this company to get an estimate and she told me it would be 99 for them to go out and get an estimate, I told her I’d have to call back with my card because I was driving. She stated, “you may want to hurry so we don’t book up”. I called back as soon as I parked and she stated “oh we have appointments today, the tech will be there any time from now (815am-4pm). I told her that was fine and gave her the tenants number to call 30 minutes before arriving to let him know. She proceeded to ask me who they would notify of the quote once the estimate was done, I told her ME. They never called, my tenant ended up calling them at 345 and they said they were still going out. The guy did go out, this was on a Friday. On Tuesday I noted a charge of 400 on my card from them (big jump from 100), they called me wanting a review. I told her first off I never received and estimate and I was charged 400 after being told it would be 100. She stated “well we have to get paid for our services we used a camera to check your lines, etc.” I proceeded to tell her that I should have been notified before all this was done. And her response was “well, your tenant signed”. They were specifically told I was the decision maker. I would not recommend them to anyone. I still never got a quote. I paid 400 for a camera to be ran down my line!!

My new furnace/thermostat decided to act up right at the end of winter and unfortunately I severed ties with the HVAC technician who installed it. So I needed to find emergency service without paying emergency prices.

Called and set up a service appointment with McVehil and was very satisfied. My technician Jeff was prompt, courteous, professional, and knowledgeable. He had me up and running again in probably 45 minutes and was kind enough to give me a lot of great information for future reference. Very happy with the service I received!

I was very pleased with the Technician, Jenn. She was both efficient and knew what she was doing. I was surprised how little time was spent telling Jenn the problem. She was here less than a half-hour and proceeded to repair the toilet. I asked a question on another project and she told me how to get the most for my money by using Kohler warranties. That to me is real service!

McVehil has been servicing my furnace for many years and have always been excellent at communicating options and providing relevant information. Garet installed a gas regulator and was prompt and respectful.

Great service and workmanship. Justin did a fantastic job. He listened to my description of what was going on. He then checked my furnace, heat pump and thermostat. He discovered a problem with the heat pump thermostat. I received a bid for the replacement part and am going have Justin replace it. McVehil has always been reliable and taken care of any issues I have ever experienced. I won; go to anyone else as long as they are in business.

During a routine check Jeff discovered a capacitor was weak. I'm so glad it was replaced before the really hot summer got here. Thanks Jeff.

We had our AC checked by Garrett from McVehill on May 6, 2024. After checking our AC we told Garrett that we were hearing a noise when our furnace came on. We were impressed with Garrett as he was very thorough. As usual there
was no noise when we turned the furnace on. He told my husband what he thought it might be and what he could do. Garrett took time with us …it wasn’t in and out. We appreciate the service we received and would like him to come back on our next furnace check in the Fall.

On Monday morning 6-9-25, our central air conditioning stop working, so we called McVehil Heating & Cooling. & they sent Jeff out the next day Tuesday 6-10. He diagnosed the problem pretty quick, the transformer in the furnace went bad. The part was ordered the next morning. My wife called on Wednesday 6-11, & Morgan took our payment info. & said someone would call when the part came in. Morgan & Jeff were very helpful. I have done business with McVehil for over 40 years. I have never had a bad experience with them. All of their employees, including the customer service staff and the technicians, are always polite, professional and helpful. The quality of the work their technicians have done at my home has always been top notch. Jenifer was recently in our home to fix an issue with a toilet. Se was polite, helpful, and did a thorough job. I highly recommend them.

Jeff came to inspect our AC unit for summer heat a comin'. He was professional, courteous & converse in his duties. I always appreciate the service.

Had a good experience having them dig up a sewer line and repair it years ago, no complaints there. Job was done quick and fine how it should.

However, I did have a problem with my AC unit a recent time. Told me it was the blower motor, but that I should buy an entirely new $10,000+ unit instead since mine was getting older. Seemed to REALLY push getting the entirely new unit instead of fixing the existing one, which seemed a little strange to me. My AC unit had no lights on, so I was confused how a motor would be related to no lights turning on. Seems kind of like saying your car lights won't come on due to an exhaust leak.

I didn't want to just dive 10 thousand dollars into a new unit, so I went out on a limb and tried the new motor option, despite me not believing that was the issue. To no surprise, the new motor did not fix it, still no lights on. I decided to look into the wiring diagram to the AC myself, and seen that it had a AC/DC converter. Simply tested it with a multi-meter to see it wasn't outputting DC, and figured that was the issue. I bought a new one for $40, popped the old one out, and put the new one in. It fixed the issue, easy! It was a $40 fix and about 15 minutes of work. I'm rather confused on how an HVAC technician couldn't determine that.

I know everyone is not perfect, so maybe there's a chance it was an honest mistake or oversight. To me, claiming a motor was the issue seems quite far fetched. And seeing how hard a new unit was pushed makes me wonder if it was just a stunt to have me sign up for an entirely new unit. I'm not sure, but it seemed a bit fishy to me.

We just had McVehil out for our annual air conditioner checkup, and everything went smoothly and on time. We have been using them for years. Our system is getting older, so we want to make sure it is well-maintained. Our tech Jeff went over it from top to bottom and found that the contactor needed replacement so we're going to have that repaired before the summer heat. Jen and Nick came to fix several plumbing issues in my home, including to fix the main shut-off valve. They did a great job.
