We just had the exterior of our house painted by McMillan Brothers and they did a fantastic job. The house looks amazing, and I highly recommend them.

McMillan Brothers did an awesome paint job on our house. I was surprised how quickly they got to work on it and the painting was detailed and thorough! They were very careful not to damage any of our plants or anything else around the house. They used very high quality caulking and Sherwin Williams top grade paint. I strongly recommend them if you’re looking for a timely, affordable, quality paint job!

I had a really positive experience with McMillan Brothers painting the exterior of my two-story home. George was easy to work with, professional, personable, and responsive. The estimate was quick, reasonable, and the work started right on schedule.

The crew was respectful and friendly. It's a small team, but they were very hard working, impressively efficient, and clearly experienced. My house is two stories, so not the simplest job, but they got it done in a reasonable amount of time, even with rain and extreme heat in the way.

George stayed on top of everything and followed through on all the things we talked about--repairs, little extras, even a few things we just mentioned in passing. I never had to chase anything down. They also did a good final walk-through, even pointed out details I missed, and took care of cleanup without being asked.

I'd definitely call them again for future projects and would feel comfortable recommending them to friends or neighbors.

McMillan Brothers painted the exterior of our house last week and I cannot express how satisfied I am with the outcome. Initially had a consultation with Jack, one of the owners, and walked through what they would do as far a prep work, type of paint they use and cost. Received a prompt bid and while not the least expensive they were very reasonable. Edgar and crew arrived as agreed and I have to say, I have never seen greater attention to detail, every stucco crack was filled, peeling paint was scraped, rotted wood was repaired, crumbling foundation concrete was fixed, the side pieces to my garage doors were replace, absolutely fantastic. The painting went quickly but was very thorough, two coats, no paint thinning. The crew cleaned everything up and returned everything to its place. I have already recommended the team to several friends. Will definitely use them again next time.

John and his crew with extensive experience in stucco repair, cleared off the old stucco from a large exterior wall fireplace, completed a new sturdy and attractive masonry job for our Flagstaff home. The crew were very thorough in all aspects of the job, they were well organized in their work process, professional and friendly to work with and absolutely diligent in getting the job done efficiently and with care. We are very satisfied with the finished job and its pricing. There were no games or surprise costs, a very straightforward process with John, Isreal, Hugo and their crew. We will be contracting with them for another home project. Communication on-site as well as phone calls are handled promptly.

I purchased a small condo which was in good condition except for the roof. I've bought real estate before with roof issues, and I was confident I could find the right roofing company to help me repair/restore the roof. But then, after contacting 3 different roofing companies and getting a lot of smoke and mirrors, high estimates, and verbiage that didn't match the damage from the inspection report I started doubting whether I could find the right company to help me. Then I contacted Charles at McMillan Brothers. Charles is straight forward, no nonsense and what he said needed repairing matched what the inspection report said needed repairing. The estimate was reasonable too. Charles is accurate with start times, cost, completion time, AND the roof is beautiful. No smoke and mirrors. No hidden costs. Trustworthy. Accurate.

The team spent ~4 days to paint our 4BR ranch exterior and the stucco block wall. They came in and pressure washed all surfaces and then started the prep. I appreciated the attention to detail during the prep where every area covered with plastic and the patio furniture was moved and covered.
Most importantly, the quality of the work was superb. I'm particular when it comes to my house so I walked around the house at the end of every day to inspect for missed areas, overspray, or unevenness and couldn't find anything that concern me.

We were heading on vacation and James took care of everything. His crew did an amazing job and moved all of our outside furniture to paint the outside of our house. McMillan Brothers got the nod to paint the exterior of a couple houses in our neighborhood this spring (2025). Our subdivision is about 20 years old and many of us need a new paint job. After doing a few in the neighborhood, they ended up next door. Myself and other neighbors noticed the work they put in and now 4 homes directly next to, and across the street are getting or have gotten a fresh paint job with more on the way.

Nelson McMillan helped me and gave me a solid price as well. Their team is very thorough, the last paint job we had definitely wasn’t this good. First they cleared everything around the house, furniture, electronics, wall art. Then they power washed the house. Afterward, they cleaned up the fascia where it looked like the wood was splitting and creating cracks. After creating a smoother finish, they primed the fascia, taped everything and got to painting.

We are very happy with their job and happily recommend them. Their team were extremely polite, helpful and worked extremely hard.

If you need a new paint job, Give McMillan Brothers a call. From my experience they were fantastic to work with. I’m going to keep their number for some roof work and possibly a refresh of our interior paint as well. Thanks again!

his is the 5th time I've contracted with this company, including a partial roof repair in on my primary home and a complete roof on my rental. Also had 4 major painting projects, the last one was a re-stucco and painting of my home.
I found pricing more than fair and the project outcomes always exceptional.
I found them to be honest. I was told I needed a new roof on my new purchase a few years back and was getting estimates when Chuck came out and said my roof was only about 10 years old. I had him re-surface the flat patio roofs and replace a small section that had been improperly done and they became my go-to company for roofing and painting for the past 5 years. Chuck and his brother, Jack, will be upfront, professional and courteous every time and their workers are 1st rate.

Overview and thoughts on my experience with McMillan Bros.

Prep work was excellent as evidenced by lack of any bleed through or paint where it shouldn't be.
Crew was thorough and hard working I am sure they took breaks but I never witnessed it. Quality of work was superb. I've had a few homes painted so I am no expert but from my little experience the paint job seemed flawless.
Communication: Pleased with Jim and John McMillan response time on any questions that I had.
The service after the sale is important and I will contact them in a few weeks if I have any touch ups and will adjust my review if necessary. However at this point, I'd use them again!

I used McMillan Brothers for a paint project several years ago. I ended up needing another house painted and contacted Charles again. He gave me the best price out of the handful of estimates I got, and was able to get the work done really quickly.

There were a few minor issues on each project, but once I pointed them out, they were fixed quickly. Honestly I don't want to have to do another paint or roof project anytime soon, but if McMillan Brothers is still doing this, I will make sure to reach out to them.

I’ve had a roof leak and a plumbing leak at the same time, therefore I’m dealing with a demo company, packing company, plumbers, drywall people, construction workers, and insurance adjusters. Without a doubt McMillan Bothers Painting & Roofing has been easiest company to deal with. When I reached out to the company via text, I received a quick response from Jack. What has been the best experience by far is that their prices are reasonable and fair with a 10 year warranty on the new roof. When Jack made an appointment with me he showed up every time. When roofers were scheduled, they showed up every time, and cleaned up at the end of the day. In fact, the job was scheduled for 3 days and they finished in two! I can’t even express what a pleasure it has been to work with Jack and McMillan Brothers. If you need roofers or painters call McMillian Brothers and ask for Jack, I swear you won’t regret it!

My Tatum Highlands HOA was bugging me about my house not meeting their painting color combinations. I was vexed and not happy until Nelson McMillan gave me a quote that was very reasonable. Turns out, the house looks so much better that I'm glad I "HAD" to have it completely repainted to satisfy the pesky and persistent HOA. Fast and extremely nice work!

Had main home, garage and out building repainted. Made a dramatic change in color scheme. John and his crew headed by Israel did an amazing job. The level of detail attention was more than I've ever seen. The workmanship was superior. The team worked very hard and had the job completed on time. The garage required a complete recladding. So a whole lot more than just prep and paint. They spent 80 percent of the work in prepping and the quality of the finished job shows how much this matters
And to top it off they worked around a nesting bird so gently she was not upset at all

Our patio fascia board was rotting and needed to be replaced. His crew did an amazing job and it looks brand new again. Very happy with the service and would recommend.

Update: I had them do my garage and it went really well! They did drywall, texture, prime, paint the whole garage and now it looks brand new. I will have them do all my 3 homes.

McMillan Brothers did a fantastic job painting our house. George was responsive and very courteous, presenting us with our choices but not trying to upsell us. I was very impressed with the quality of the prep-work in terms of scraping, sanding, priming, etc. The painters were very careful to mask everything, pull back the gravel, and put down plastic to protect the concrete. The painting happened surprisingly quickly and looks fantastic! Everything came out very neatly done with no drips. The pricing was reasonable as well. I would definitely use them again in a heartbeat!

What a difference, the house looks brand new. They also repaired problems with my roof which we failed to realize we had. The crew was great, in and out in a day and a half. They were very polite and cleaned up when done putting things back exactly as they were found. Awesome job at a fair price!!!

We worked with both John and Jimmy during the project and they are both good men. Easily discussed the needed work regarding painting my stucco house with many cracks and other bad areas. Negotiated down the total price that included upgraded paint to a price point we could afford and was not unreasonable.

Crew arrived on time as scheduled and completed the work without issue. Job site was left clean and tidy when work was completed. Jimmy was able to come out the next day regarding a very short list of 4 area of minor touch up work. Jimmy said no problem and to take our time and find to perhaps more things that may need attention. We found no additional after week. The follow up work was promptly scheduled and completed without issues.

I would recommend McMillan Brothers Painting & Roofing if you need your house repainted. I suspect they do great work on roofs too, but mine was redone a year ago.

After a brief misunderstanding regarding work to be done, and minor communication issue regarding timing when the work was to be done, the job was completed to our satisfaction. Would I use the McMillan Brothers again? Yes. Would I recommend them them? Absolutely!

What can I say....? McMillan Bros. did a fantastic job painting our home exterior. We got three bids to paint our house and while each contactor was pleasant there was just something about George that clicked with us, it was like talking to a friend. The prep work that George described that would be done prior to painting was more involved than what other contractors explained, and prep work is everything.

George was also helpful in our color scheme decision. My husband liked one, while I liked another. And, if you've ever tried to decide on paint using the small paint chips available at paint stores, you know that they're not very helpful. George suggested that we purchase small wall sample boards. They're 12"x12" adhesive backed sample boards that you can paint. Seeing the paint samples on a larger area was quite helpful. Still, my husband and I differed on the color scheme. So, to aid in our decision I phoned George. He asked us to place the sample boards on our home exterior and to then text him pictures. George explained how each color would wear in the Arizona weather as well as telling us how the colors would look with the roof and landscape. And voila!, a decision was made. By the way, the color scheme I chose was the winner! Lol.

From beginning to end everything was done professionally. The crew was courteous and cleanly. Our complete trust in George was founded. He stayed in contact with us, showed up on time and performed the work beautifully as promised. We couldn't be happier with the results. McMillan Bros. will be our go to for any painting needs. Jack and his brother have fixed missing shingles on my roof and have done an excellent job. Always manage to fit me in proptly and always a good price. Honest, quality work.

Jack did a fantastic job painting my gutters to match the trim of my house. The team was on-site within a day or two of the initial phone call. They painted the gutters and downspouts cleanly and elegantly to unobtrusively match the rest of the house.

We just had our 20 year old home painted by the McMillan Brothers. I had interviewed several painting companies From the area that have been highly recommended, but once I met with Charlie I just felt comfortable and I felt like I could trust what he was telling me that he was going to get done in a timely fashion. Not only was he super professional knew what he was talking about bout, I signed that afternoon, and within 30 minutes they were power washing my house and several other homes in our neighborhood. It took 4 days from start to finish. They delivered exactly what they said they would and am very pleased with the work. Thank you Charlie and your crew!!! I should mention that the 2 guys that did most of the work on the house were fabulous as well. I had brand new sunscreens that I just spent a fortune on they took such good care of them taking them off and placing them carefully where they wouldn't get damaged or dirty. They put everything right back on and in place perfectly. 5 stars+++
