I initially hired McNabb to install a new roof and within a day, Shaun came to the project site for a walkthrough and I had an estimate in hand. Everything went seamlessly -- they showed up on time, finished the project with no deviation from the estimate, and left the jobsite immaculately clean. Because I had such a good experience with them, I hired them a second time for new siding. Again, the project went perfectly. They are excellent with communication, always keeping you up to date as materials are ordered, delivered, etc.

It's refreshing to know that there are still great local companies out there who care about the little things like communication and friendliness. Without a doubt, if I have a project for them, I'd hire McNabb again without hesitation.

I’ve had them do several jobs for me over the past few years. Roofing, and siding. Shaun is great to deal with and always stays true to his word.

Used McNabb to replace our roof on our 2-story with 1-story addition house. After they replaced it, we had a leak in the roof of our addition in 2 spots. They came quickly and assessed what they though the problem was, and fixed it. Next time it rained, it leaked again. They came back and ended up removing one of our roof vents, which ended up fixing the leak in one spot. But we kept having a leak in the second location. They said it must be an issue with our siding, even though we never had a leak before the roof replacement. It’s been a year and we STILL have a leak every time there is a heavy rain. We stopped calling and have decided to try to fix it ourselves at this point. The roof looks great and the team did great work, but this one thing is frustrating.

I can’t say enough good things about the McNabb company! After meeting with about 6 highly rated roofers (most pushy and salesy, not to mention high priced), I was referred to McNabb. I couldn’t believe the difference! Spoke to the owners (Judy) upon calling, had Shaun come out for an estimate promptly. No sales pitch, no nothing, just an explanation of the roof condition and an estimate left for me; the most reasonable price of all. Also-oddly-they were the only company that explained to me about attic ventilation and when/when not to have a roof fan for best ventilation. Which by the way, I immediately googled and confirmed to be accurate. Job was done professionally and I am very happy to have found them, honest and good company!!

I have used McNabb Roofing multiple times due to storm damage and they are the most professional and on time company that I have ever dealt with. They have replaced the whole roof on my house and my fathers house years ago. They are even recommended by my insurance company as a preferred contractor for roofing and gutters. There is no doubt that McNabb roofing is the best quality, and value along with being the best price on completive quotes. There is a lot to be said for a family run business that cares about its customers. They are second to none. I will call them when needed.

I had McNabb come to do a roof estimate for us. They were there at exactly the time we requested and explained their procedure for getting the estimate. So far, very impressed!

We were looking for a new roof for our house and McNabb was able to come out to quote us pretty darn fast. A coworker recommended them because they fixed an issue with their old roof and then a couple years down the road they installed a new roof on their house and they haven't had one issue. It came down to McNabb and a family friend's company who just gave us a deal we couldn't turn down. McNabb came in very competitive price wise and offer a variety of shingles, if we didn't a shingle hook up, without a doubt we would've gone with McNabb. Also Judy, who I believe is their office manager was a delight every step of the quote process.

We got two estimates for a leak just above our bedroom. McNabb Roofer guy tells me the slope of the roof is the problem. Apparently not enough slope. Go figure! And the shingles in the section need to be replaced and and basically redone. Estimate of 950+ depending on whether the board underneath needed repair.

I call another roofer. In 15 minutes, they had it fixed for 200 bucks!. Comes down and shows me a picture of where two golf balls had hit our roof and created holes. The golf ball holes were the cause.

I find it amazing that the roofer did not find these holes right above the point of the leak.

3. How to hire a roofing contractor?
+-

To hire a roofing contractor, start by researching local companies with good reviews and proper licensing. Request quotes from multiple contractors, verify their insurance and certifications, and ask for references. Always ensure you get a written contract that outlines the scope of work, timeline, and payment terms.

4. How to check if a roofing company is legit?
+-

Check if a roofing company is legit by verifying their business license, insurance, and local certifications. Look for memberships in professional associations, read customer reviews, and ask for recent project references. A legitimate company will be transparent and provide all documentation upon request.

5. How to choose a roofing company?
+-

When choosing a roofing company, consider their experience, customer reviews, warranty offerings, and quality of materials. Make sure they provide clear communication, detailed estimates, and a solid portfolio of completed projects. Local expertise is also a major advantage for understanding regional roofing needs.

6. How do you know if your roofing contractor is ripping you off?
+-

Warning signs that your roofing contractor might be ripping you off include vague contracts, pressure to pay large upfront deposits, lack of proper documentation, and unexplained price increases. Always ask for itemized estimates and written guarantees, and avoid contractors who avoid answering your questions directly.
