When the project was being done, we had an issue with the skylight. No questions asked, Peter built an entire new skylight frame and sealed it to prevent the issue from happening again. If you are looking for an honest and experienced roofing contractor, then you need to contact Max Roofing in Addison, IL. I don’t normally post reviews but I have used them twice in 2023 (Mt. Prospect & Chicago ) and both experiences were excellent. They gave honest estimates, the workmanship was high quality, everyone communicated well (office staff and installers) to keep us informed every step of the process. Peter and his team want you to be happy with the results and are very approachable. I will continue to use Max Roofing on all our properties- for all roofing, soffit, and gutter work - very reliable.

Max Roofing provided quality, timely, and customer centric service. We were seeing unusual heating and cooling bills for a home our size. We were referred to Max Roofing from a friend. They got back to us within same day and set up an assessment the same week at time of our choosing. They explained the issue clearly and presented various options. Service was prompt and at the customer’s choice of time; they did not require physical presence of the homeowner. Our heating/cooling bills have come down and is on track to pay for itself soon with the savings, and the air is fresher! The Owner follow-ed up with us a couple months post service, and there were no issues to report! It felt personable and professional. I would recommend they be your first call on roofing matters!

The entire process was excellent. Max Roofing did an excellent job of explaining the project and making suggestions that would enhance the roofing project. The roofing crew arrived right on time, provided very good protection to the property before proceeding with the tear off. Max Roofing is the best! The moment the boss itself showing up to do and inspect the work, you know you are in good hands. Peter was very easy and honest to work with. The job was done on time, perfectly. Max roofing was installing the Solar power exhaust fan for our attic, that helps us to vent the attic. Piotr quoted me an excellent price for replacing two 30-year old skylights with industry-leading Velux skylights complete with solar-powered remote control blinds. He had them in hand ready to install in less than a week, and his crew removed the old ones and installed the new ones in an afternoon. They are beautiful, they block UV, and they are guaranteed No Leak. We couldn’t be happier with the price and the service!

As a single woman I am always concerned with contractors taking advantage of me with work that I’m not always familiar with. I do my homework with quotes from different companies - but with my complicated roofing project so many other considerations came into play. I needed a roofing contractor that was priced fairly- yet competent.

Petr at Max Roofing is fantastic. My husband and I own four properties in and around Chicagoland and have used Petr twice in the last two years and he will be my go-to roofer going forward. At my own home he cleaned the gutters and installed gutter guards for about 1/3 of the price as many of the specialty gutter guard companies. He also inspected the roof while he was up there and provided a quote for when we were ready to fix which was extremely reasonable.

This year, we had some major water damage to an income property of ours in the city that has a flat roof. The damage was caused by a combination the extreme amount of snow and ice damming as well as the fact that it was time to replace the roof. I had Petr out along with another long-time roofer that I’ve used. Petr was over right away and caulked some of the obvious areas that needed immediate attention and talked me through my options (and provided quotes for multiple options). At the end of thee day, I ended up making the most expensive / best long-term decision to tear off the three layers of rubber/tar roof, fix all rot underneath, insulate and recover with energy efficient and long-lasting TPO roof material. TPO was only slightly more expensive but should last 2-3x (or more) as long, requires almost no maintenance, and is more energy efficient. While it was the most expensive of his quotes, it was very reasonable compared to other quotes I received. After removing the existing roof, it became apparent that there was significantly more wood repair needed than was initially quoted. He was able to stay closer to the original quited cost by using slightly thinner insulation (with my approval) which helped my bank account.

As for the actual install, Petr was able to book me within a week and did an awesome job managing the tight quarters — this building buts up against the sidewalk and only 3 feet of clearance between both neighbors. There’s also very little room in the back of the house so disposal was a nightmare scenario - in fact, my other roofer said that I have regularly used in the past said he didn’t even want to do the job because of this complication. On top of this, Petr handled my disgruntled / high maintenance neighbors beautifully, ensuring his plants were well protected and all debris was completely removed from his property at the end of each night.

Petr has already done work my my neighbor and I’ll continue to recommend him to others. He does the job right and is willing to take in the complicated projects.

We recently (Aug 2020) had storm damage to our roof and garage , we call Piotr from Max Roofing and he was there next morning sharp at 10:00 am time, Max Roofing immediately did the inspection and also took some nice ariel pictures with the drone to show us the exact damage which the storm had cause, Peter explained the entire process which is going to take for replacement of entire roof and the timeframe, and also gave us recommendations for types of shingle and the colors.

Based on our experience dealing with Max roofing - and especially Piotr we would highly recommend their services.
