Our insurance claim was assigned to America’s best and so we went with them for the repairs. Our garage roof needed a lot of work and they did a beautiful job!! Communication with the office staff was great!

I had America's Best Exteriors repair some siding on our garage. Eric spoke with me in much detail as to what he would do and pointed out a few more issues I had overlooked as we walked around the structure. The price he quoted was fair and once the work began, it was completed to my satisfaction within the time frame he estimated. The crews were all very professional and thoroughly cleaned up once they were finished. There were a few other small projects Eric was willing to take on as well, which were in the proposal and completed. If I could, I would give them a 5+ rating!

We had Mike and his team build a patio cover for us recently. They were very responsive and punctual with their scheduling. The end result turned out amazing and we've had plenty of compliments already. Definitely would recommend Americas Best!

I had water damage to my home and had no idea what to do. I found America’s Best through my insurance company and I am very happy I did. They helped instantly with remediation of the damage, and also handled the repair work. It was helpful to not have to look for different contractors; it was very convenient that they handled everything. Time restraints never an issue, they tailor to my schedule. Quality of work exceeds expectations each and every service call. They back their work 100% and they even look out for you by attention to detail on what you the homeowner might have overlooked. They do all of this bc they care! Their pricing is more than reasonable and they protect you from being scammed into unnecessary Work. You’re not going to find this level of honesty and integrity anywhere else! At 11pm our toilet failed (thankfully clean water side) and water was pouring from the first floor into the basement. I contacted Erin at America’s Best and she had Eric out to mitigate the damages with a dehumidifier and fans before I even knew what was going on. Thank you Erin and the Americas Best team for the speedy response that helped prevent significant damages and a need for an insurance claim. 10/10 would use again

Had a home restoration project due to some basement water damage in the summer. Called and talked to Erin and she was an angel in the process of getting people to my house and getting everything fixed up. So thankful for the crew that came out and Erin for helping so much with the process.

I had severe water damage back in August. After getting my entire house ripped apart to dry everything out it was time to put it all back together. Once the work got started it was completed in only 2 weeks. Everyone was so nice and accommodating. When I say it was my entire house I mean it. The entire downstairs and the upstairs needed to be replaced with new drywall, flooring, all new paint and new carpet in all bedrooms. My house is BEAUTIFUL!!!!! I could not be happier with the kindness and willingness to work with me on certain projects. Their motto is to make the customer happy and they went far beyond that. I am one happy customer!!!

Mike and Americas Best have been a ray of sunshine during this catastrophic failure of my foundation wall. (see photo) While arguing with insurance, they had manpower out to shore up my home to prevent further damage/collapse. Even when insurance would not cover repairs, I continued to use them as my general. They hired an excellent sub for the work and coordinated efforts throughout. They were very professional and always answered/addressed any issues I had throughout the restoration. Their sub was equally professional and a pleasure to have on site. Thoroughly restored my foundation and cleaned the debris from my basement (a monumental task). If anyone is having issues, I highly recommend utilizing Americas Best. I feel you will not be disappointed.

Very unprofessional company from mike,Rochelle and staff members. Been trying to get paid for work that we had performed and complete for months now and keep getting excuse after excuses. I imagen if that what they do with contractors who help them get the jobs done .how do they treat their customers? Stay away from them as a contractor or customer very poorly run business

Americas Best and Mike are truly professionals. We had extensive water damage during the polar freeze. And Mike came out the evening of the damage, quickly assessed the situation, and provided a clear plan and guidance for moving forward.

For the work, Mike and his crew were quick and did high quality work to clean up our home. And communication - Mike spoke to me everyday about progress and guidance on next steps. The cleanup was all done within a week!

During a time that was challenging and stressful, Mike provided high quality work and most important high touch service. I would work with Americas Best again in a heartbeat.

Highly recommended. They were recommended through our insurance company as we had major water damage from a leaking pipe, including ceiling and hardwood floor damage (warping). The insurance company had a different company handle the initial remediation (drying out the house and removing damaged drywall).

America's Best came out and gave an estimate that came in lower than what the insurance company had calculated, but included everything that needed to be done. They communicated clearly on how things would be done and that if more issues were discovered, they would work with the insurance company to get them covered. They answered all of my questions. Ultimately, we had no extra problems than what the insurance company identified initially.

They worked with us to find a time schedule as we had to move out of the house for the sanding and refinishing of the floors. They were very clear on expected amounts of time.

Most importantly, they showed up when expected, did their work efficiently, and it all looks great.

The first day, they had multiple people come to our house to pack everything up and move it into storage. All items were carefully packed and clearly labeled. Furniture was wrapped and moved.

Over about a week, they sanded and refinished the floors and completely repaired and painted the drywall. They also repaired some cracked bathroom tiles, including redoing the grout.

When done, they delivered all of the boxes and furniture back.

You can't see any of the damage and things look as good as when the house was new.

We did have walls painted, outside of the insurance claim. We were always very clear that we were paying separate from insurance. We paid half up front and the other half after the work was completed. The work looks great. They repaired drywall tape where necessary and like the floors and ceilings, looks as good as new.

Overall, we could not be more pleased with the experience and outcome.

Very unprofessional! Wanted to continue to use them after our water damage clean up. Reached out to Javier to see if he could do our bathroom and he never responded until we called the office, once we explained to the office that hey we would like to use you guys to finish our bathroom we reached out to Javier and had no response. Javier calls us back with in 10 minutes of us contacting the office. Then he told his office we were trying to do side deals with him! If that was the case why would we reach back out to the office?! Then a woman calls my husband and says Javier said you were trying to do deals under the table. How’s that to be when we’re reaching back out to the company to complete our bathroom because we could not get in contact with Javier…So we call our insurance company to explain the situation and they gave us a different company to work with. Then we get a call from a female saying that they are declining to do any repairs! We were done when we called back to our insurance company to let them know the situation at had, then they want to call back and leave a message declining service! Next time you want to call and leave a message about declining service get the facts straight!

It's been a hard couple of months for my family since our house was hit by tornado last year. Coupled with Covid, we have to deal with unprecedented challenges, but luckily, repairing and restoring the house back to normal isn't a thing I have to worry about.

We had our basement remodeled recently. They were great with a lot of things typical contractors are not great with. The work was done well and within our budget with no unforeseen add-on charges. Workers showed up on-time and communication was good. They were very patient and polite with us when we had to pivot to different design ideas that set them back a bit. The workers were all very nice and respectful. Overall a great experience! Definitely going to use them again in the future

Terrible experience with this company. Used them to repair water damage from an ice buildup on my roof. They bid the job through my insurance company.
They show up and work for a few days, and then disappear for days or even weeks. The damage to my home happened over two months ago, and they are still not finished!
To add insult to injury, they just informed us that they are not coming back because they didn’t bid enough for the job.

I can not Thank America's Best enough. They are an outstanding family owned business who truly cares about their customers! From Rochelle, to Mike, to every single contractor employee that entered my home, they cared about my home, my family, my situation and getting everything fixed quickly and professionally. Called Americas Best to check for mold in a bathroom. They came the next day for an inspection and had the quote in my email the same night. Workers were on time and very professional. Work was done within the time frame they gave and the work was amazing quality! Would definitely recommend 100%!

Thank you to Mike & his team!! We had a water main burst that flooded a huge section of our home. Americas Best Exterior and Fire/Water did a phenomenal job assisting us in stabilizing the water damage and completing the demolition. Mike’s knowledge of the mitigation process and his attention to detail was greatly appreciated!

Although the work itself was done ok, the customer service, or lack thereof, was the worst ever. We received rude, insulting, and unprofessional emails from one person in particular. She was beyond inappropirate. I will NEVER do business with them ever again. What a shame that customer service has come to this....

We decided to use America's Best for a new roof and new siding that was partially funded by insurances, but sizably subsidized by us. We went from horribly outdated and banged up to bright, clean and beautiful. We had a few bumps along the way, but Josh and Rochelle would not rest until everything was resolved to our satisfaction. We could not be happier with the finished product!

I spoke with a gal from the office, who then put me in touch with Mike. From the first visit to my home to access the situation,. I knew I made the right choice. Mike and crew went above & beyond my expectations. They were timely,. cleaned up after each visit, kept me informed of each step. I couldn't be happier with the results. Josh Harris(sales representative)was very knowledgeable and caring for our project. We were worried about a roof/siding job that a local contractor in Galesburg, IL finished and did not meet our expectations. Nobody in our town could find time or wanted to repair someone else's mistakes. Americas Best worked in unison with our Insurance company when we found out that we had on going leaks in our roof for quite awhile and it had caused a serious mold problem throughout the entire house and leaving some rooms uninhabitable. They arrived on site and in less than 3 days did a tear off & repaired the numerous areas where the leaks occurred and replaced the entire roof & skylights. After they were done the mold remediation team came in and did their magic throughout the entire house! Both repairs took less than a week & we were back to normal & able to use all rooms with out fear of health issues. Both teams were very professional and always kept us informed as to their progress. We highly recommend their services and their crew. If we ever need such services again they will be the first & only call we will need to make.

Maria, David and the crew they work with did an outstanding job. They not only were great at what they did of removing the mold from my home, they did it in a timely, professional manner and took care of my belongings in the process. I needed a professional eye to make sure we got all the water damage out and the house dried out. Their team used a more surgical approach compared to other water teams that just want to take a sledge hammer to the entire house. Before and after photos shown below. They will spend more time with you to make sure they are accomplishing your objectives while giving you their professional advice. They also give you credit for any tear outs you have already accomplished. I highly recommend them.

I was amazed at how quick they got on the job. Talked with them on a Tuesday about doing our roof. Received an estimate and pictures of sample shingles on Thursday. Gave them the OK on Friday. Shingles and materials delivered the following Tuesday. The job completed on Friday. I have a big 2 story home with peaks and valleys. They showed up at 6:30 a.m. and half the roof was off in about an hour. The job was completed by 7 p.m. that night. It was getting dark and all the cleanup could not be completed. The foreman( sorry, forgot his name) returned Saturday a.m. and finished up. Very nice man and wanted to make sure the cleanup was to our satisfaction. Our neighbors were amazed at how hard the crew worked and how efficient they were. I would definitely use them again, I was very impressed

We were having leaking in two rooms of our house from our roof. America's best responded promptly. Each and every team member was knowledgeable, courteous, and professional. We were pleased with every step along the way from mitigation to final repairs on roof and our interior. They do beautiful work! They helped make a very stressful situation a lot less stressful! We had hail damage on two houses during the same storm last spring. We did not realize how bad the damage was until the December roof inspection from selling one of the homes. Josh came out inspected both houses and met with our insurance adjuster and basically took care of everything. We had to wait for things to warm up and as soon as the weather was fit the completed each house in one day each. I am very satisfied with how quickly the completed the work and how well they cleaned up after themselves.

Basement flood: Thank you to America's Best for making a stressful situation a lot better quickly. They worked closely with our insurance company to make sure they were aware of all of the damage so it would be covered and repaired. Our basement looks great and we would recommend them highly.

Highly recommend this company to all my family and friends! When my basement flooded, they were the only ones who would come to my house on a late Sunday evening to remove the water and damage. And I live an hour away!! They did an absolutely beautiful job restoring my finished basement and helping me along the way with the most ever difficult insurance. Everyone was easy to talk to and pleasant to work with. My biggest fear of a flooded basement was made easy with these guys! Thanks again!!!

Don't use them. They don't have any pride in their work. We have brand new walls that are not level, a new tiled shower where the floor was not pitched to the drain. Metal trim with sharp edges. When one of the owners came by to check out the complaints, I asked if the tile guys will be cleaning up and removing the white film on the tile. His response was "oh you need to get on your hands and knees and use a little elbow grease or hire a maid".
What kind of company doesn't cleanup after their work. And tells the house wife she has to do it!

Absolutely the worst experience I have ever had as a homeowner with contractors. A2 week project that turned into a nightmare. The job is still not finished because I had to fire them. This was after 10 weeks. Absolutely treated like dirt it is looking like they are not going to back up their work. The only reason I gave them one star is because I cannot give them no stars. Feel free to contact me personally if you are even considering hiring them. All that is required on our end is some sort of refund. Owner claimed aggression, after 10 weeks,sloppy workmanship, and insults my wife,blaming her for their mistakes.

Hail damage repair. ABE worked with my insurance company to obtain the maximum repairs for my house. The owner Mike was honest, nice, friendly and straight talking. He delivered on what he promised. The workers were friendly, fast, and very skilled. I couldn't be more pleased with the service provided by ABE. I have future soffit/fascia covering to do to fully weatherize my house and I will absolutely be calling Mike and ABE.
