My husband and I worked with Matrix Roof from out-of-state, as we recently purchased a home in Portland but hadn't yet moved in. Sarah was so friendly and patient with me while we worked out the logistics and scheduling. We chose them because we have an uncommon roof that has to be handled with care and by someone who knows how to walk on it properly without damaging it. The crew that came was professional, quick, and did a great job. Would recommend!

We were in a pinch because we switched insurance and two months later they said they were going to drop our coverage beginning of July due to granular loss on the roof and a small piece of rotten fascia. Matrix came out immediately and offered small repairs and three year guarantee but that did not satisfy Progressive Homesite, they needed 8 year guarantee. Matrix was there again when we needed them and was able to get us scheduled immediately. The service was awesome and they really cared about helping us out, which was great. The crew was friendly, cleaned up every night and the office staff was there for any questions. Felt like the price was right in the market range. We would use matrix again in a heartbeat! Matrix Roof performed the maintenance for our building so quickly and so completely that we were so pleased with the results. Our building is 3-stories high and worries us for routine roof maintenance requirements. Matrix hand-scraped the moss on our roof and treated it for further issues. The crew arrived on time and were done before noon. We will use them again and again!

I mean I'm never EXCITED to call a roofing place, it's not ever because something great has happened but if I have to get roof repairs/replacement the experience with Matrix is as good as could be imagined. Their office was very friendly and communicative and their crews were polite and did a good job cleaning up. Over the last 4 years we had one roof repair and one replacement but no complaints!

I had 5 companies bid on my roof. Matrix was the last company to bid for us and they did the most thorough inspection of all the other companies and in the end offered the most improvements for near the same bid as other companies.

We paid the deposit and they got to work as soon as the schedule allowed. Their workers were always on time, professional and worked very hard. They left nothing in place that would jeopardize the quality of a new roof. We had a few change orders because they found more decking than we realized that needed to be replaced. They supplied photos and were quick to make the improvements.

I couldn't be happier that matrix was the team we chose to work with. I feel like other companies would have turned and burned us for the money and not took the time to replace everything necessary to ensure the roof was properly replaced and mold/mildew free.

They were super responsive in their office and communicated great. Always called back promptly when I had questions.

Matrix was so wonderful to work with. I had a tree fall on my house last winter due to the snow and ice. I had to work with my insurance company and through out it all, they were so patient and so understanding. My insurance company was being a pain in the a** and Martix went to bat for me. There was one piece the insurance company refused to cover and if not fixed properly, would have caused me so many issues down the road. Matrix only cared about doing right by their customer- which is the best kind of business! Thanks to them the insurance company finally agreed and all worked out. Matrix fixed a cracked truss that was making my roof sag slightly. This is the 3rd time they have helped repair my 20-year old roof (past work has included leakage repair and shingle replacement). Every time they have been professional, prompt, efficient, and affordable. Honestly, I'm not sure how they maneuver around inside the roof as well as they do. I signed up for their annual maintenance program so that my roof can last as long as possible by preventing little problems from becoming big problems. Highly recommend them for your roofing needs

This is the second job I have had Matrix do for us and both times they have been terrific. The first time was replacing a skylight in our previous house. This time they installed six sun tunnels to lighten up dark spaces in our home. The workman were respectful, hard-working and completed on time. The customer service from the home office was excellent. We will definitely use them again for any roofing needs that come up.

They came out and and looked at my roof, the guy was very nice and checked everything out and said he would have a bid for me in a day or so. Never heard back from them. I tried to call them back and just got some weird service selling vacations or something like that.

It's rare I leave reviews, especially a negative one as I sympathize with business owners. 16 months ago Matrix accessed our roof which is mostly vertical concrete tile, but there were areas of concern that's non vertical and non tile with some standing water. Their contractor said we had another 10 years of life and all we needed was a small patch (we had a leak in our kitchen from a storm). I asked again if he was absolutely sure and reassured me. Well, our large patched kitchen ceiling and wall is leaking again from Matrix's patch work - this is costly to pull out the drywall, seal, etc. What's more infuriating is we had reported the weather damage to our home insurance, but the deductible was too high so we ended up paying out of pocket. Now Matrix sends us a $6,000 quote which our insurance would have covered over a year ago. Seriously?

I communicated how upset we were about this and there was no apology or gesture from the lack of oversight on their end.

To the reader. I suggest getting 3 bids, ask lot of questions in person, and don't trust the contractor's advice and quotes unless it's consistent with other bids.

*Updated: there was a $5204 quote for roof tile and gutter cleaning. We felt that was high, so we only selected the caulking repair as our larger second leak came from a cement tile that shifted from the storm.

Just a little over a year ago i meant the Matrix crew at the Clark county Spring and Summer Fair I was in need of a company to clean my roof I made a appointment with Matrix, they sent out a employee Mauricio to clean my roof, the process he did was the first I have ever seen before. I wanted to see how well it worked I was very surprised not only with the process No Moss period over the year but the cost. This year I went back to Matrix to have my roof done again, again I was surprised, with the economy being what it is I did expect a substantial raise in cost there wasn't. Being on a fixed income it was well within my budget and again Matrix sent out Mauricio to do the work. I will not say what the process is you'll just have to see what it is. Again I am very pleased with the work Matrix Mauricio did I would be very please to recommend this company. Oh, BTW the office people are very professional and pleasant to work with.

Excellent company to work with. We had a roof replacement that entailed a complete tear-off and re-installation of the new products. From the initial estimate through a three day tear-off and installation Matrix did exactly what we agreed to.

I met the owner at a home show. A few months later I need roof replaced. Gave a call and they were out the next day with a reasonable estimate. Scheduled the work and it was completed. Done in one day and when they were done the roof looked wonderful and no mess. Fast forward a couple of years and I am selling that house and they are called to help with the gutters. Again, reasonable pricing and on the job quickly and efficiently. Two days ago I called because the roof in the house I purchased is leaking. They come out same day to check it out. We had a bad section of our roof and we knew we really needed a new one but just didn’t have the funds right then and there. So Matrix fixed the one section and when we could afford a whole roof replacement they even deducted what they had already done off the cost of the full roof. They are honest, reliable and did an amazing job. We refer them to all our friends and family.

Matrix was great to work with! I had some mold in the attic and needs some flashing around the chimney replaced. They provided quality customer care and are honest folx to work with! I recommend them 100% and will use them when I need a new roof.

Great team to work with! The roofers are hard working and reliable even in 100°+ heat. The office staff is friendly and responsive and when we had an unrelated issue with the City they handled everything quickly and professionally for us. We've used Matrix on several rental properties as well as our own residence and highly recommend them. Their prices have always been the lower bid and the quality of their work is top-notch.

Matrix did a number of minor repairs on our roof including removing zinc strips, replacing roof vents, treating the roof with moss repellant, replacing a number of cracked ridge shingles and blowing off accumulated leaves and debris. Moe did an excellent job for us in very hot weather and cleaned up at the end of the job. We were extremely pleased with the work performed and the price was as agreed. We will use Matrix for any future roof jobs and highly recommend them.

Once again I contracted Matrix to replace another roof. I used them again without hesitation because my first experience with them was great! Just as the first time their customer service and communication was great and everyone I spoke with was personable and professional. The crew was very hard working. When the job was completed the crew cleaned around my property so perfectly that you would never know that much work had just been completed. I highly recommend Matrix.

I hired Matrix to clean my roof and repair gutters. All staff (office, estimator, and roof crew) were very professional, prompt and kind. My roof hadn't been cleaned in a very long time and there was a lot of moss. The crew removed it all, cleaned the gutters and didn't leave anything behind. Will definitely use again and highly recommend!

I purchased a home over a year ago, knowing it had issues. My Realtor got estimates for me with this company to fix a few items.

Matrix came out to fix the placement of the Bird block guards in my attic, as they were all loose. I was having insulation raining down thru the bath fans, and talked to the boss about checking to make sure the venting was correct on them. They fixed the bird blocks, and the young man said he cleared the insulation from around the fans, and they were fine. Debris continued falling down from the fans, and none were adequately vented out the roof. One bird block guard was missing from above my master bath as well They obviously missed these problems?

They moved a cabinet in my laundry room, leaving a fist sized hole in my dry wall. It was a 20 minute expensive fix. I guess I didn't put on the invoice to undo the screws fully before moving the cabinet? These people were nice and respectful, but maybe not experienced to do some jobs.

Had them replace a toilet, giving them a brand and type. They bought and installed a very short child sized toilet. I thought it would be as tall the one they replaced, but it wasn't. I purchased 2 toilets that day. My fault for not realizing it wouldn't be tall enough.
Be sure with this company, you list every single thought, idea, and step on the invoice.
I would not have them back in my home.
