- I don't know how this place stays in business. The Meridian Marvin's never has anything that I need.

- I always have to leave and drive across town to Lowe's.

Tried to get stain mixed 2 separate times at the Marvin's in Meridian Ms. They mixed it the wrong color 1st time and had to take back to get it mixed to the right color. Didn't check because how could they mess it up twice right....wrong!!! Bought 4 gallons only one was right the other 3 were way off the brown we asked for..one was green...one was purple..and so on. WOULD NOT REFUND FOR THE ANYTHING EXCEPT THE VIBRANT GREEN ONE..since the others were a color of brown they wouldn't refund those. Thanks Marvin's for reminding us why we don't shop with you!!
It is so much easier to load the wood right into your truck. You can literally pull your vehicle right next to the wood. Then go in and pay and then show the receipt at the gate when you are ready to leave. At Lowes, you have to load it into your cart, go through checkout, then unload it at your vehicle. Marvins also gives military discount on all items including wood. Lowes stopped giving military discounts on wood.
Employees have been very helpful. They make eye contact, ask if we need help, tell us to have a blessed day. Their selections seems to be improved in the store and lumber yard. Thank you.
