I started noticing Marlon's painting frequently working in my neighborhood. One day they were painting my next-door neighbor's house.
I watched them power wash, scrape, sand, attach loose siding, caulk, mask and extensively prepare the house before painting. Then they took their time carefully painting and cleaning up after themselves.
I was so impressed I hired them to paint my house, and the results were the same. I couldn't believe what a great job they did. They are skilled craftsmen that take pride in their work.

I hired him to repair several badly damaged drywall areas in my home, most of them on the ceiling which is tough work to get right. Martin Ramirez and his team were recommended to us by a friend who uses them regularly. They were professional and dedicated. They paid attention to detail and were careful with their clean up. They were kind, flexible, and responsive to our needs and we are super pleased with the job they did painting the entire interior (walls and ceilings) of our home. We got 5 bids for the exterior house painting project and Martin’s bid came in the middle. We decided to work with his company because he seemed to know our needs well and the price is still reasonable. The result showed that we made a right decision! I just want to echo what others have written about Marlon's Painting, because much of what was said truly describes why their work is so outstanding. Recently, I hired Martin to repaint our family room to a much lighter color. Leftover from a previous owner were four stereo speakers built into two walls of the family room and secured with metal brackets drilled into studs. He and his right-hand man Israel had to enlarge the holes around the speakers and patch four separate 2'X2' holes with sheetrock and texture. I could not see any visual evidence of any patch work after all the paint had dried, none/zip/nada. He did the same sort of thing for me a few years back with a ceiling patch mending a minor pipe break catastrophe. Made it invisible. They really are artists when it comes this kind of special repair work. If you've read to here so far, I also want you to know that Martin and Israel are stand up guys who sincerely take great pride in their work. Martin is honestly one of the best, if not the best, contractor I have ever hired. These guys are very, very good at their craft.

Martin and his crew painted the exterior of our house. The one description that best fits them: Pride of Workmanship. Martin ensures the work is done meticulously, and they take the time to do it right. He made sure any gaps were caulked and sealed. He also pointed out an issue with our chimney, and he wanted to make sure we took care of it before they continued to paint. Marlon's Painting is fantastic and I highly recommend them.

He and his crew are very personable and very careful.. They take great pains to keep your property in great shape and do wonderful work.

Martin and his team were incredible to work with. Our home hadn't had the exterior touched in probably a decade or more. After we bought it, and put out feelers for painters in the area, Marlon's Painting was the most detailed with work estimates, and reasonable with price out of the three we contacted, that we signed on for them to repaint our exterior.
From day one, we were guided through the details and given all the information we could hope for. The work, from power washing and prep to clean up, was done quickly and with great care. We couldn't be happier with the finished product, and would recommend them in a heartbeat. I would trust Marlon's with my home again, and they will be the first I call when it is time for more work.

My house looks amazing thanks to Martin and the crew from Marlon’s Painting! The whole process went well, from getting an estimate to completion. Martin even waited for the weather to be right for the job, June in Oregon is unpredictable. His focus is on doing a job that will last and look good for a long time. The crew did an outstanding job of prepping, even removing old wires that were no longer in use. They caulked around windows, fixed loose nails. They found several boards that were bad to the point of crumbling, which they replaced for me at an extremely fair price. It was helpful that they are able to take care of these repairs as it was much easier for me, and they did the repairs perfectly.

If you want a cheap quick paint job, you can probably find it cheaper. But if you want a capable crew who cleans up after themselves and leaves your house protected and looking better for the long term I doubt you will do better. I would definitely hire them again.

I'm very satisfied with the exterior paint job that Marlon's just completed. The crew comprised Martin, Israel and Alberto. They all worked very hard, did a good job, cleaned up their things each day and were polite and willing to answer all my questions. I would hire them again. In addition to painting, they had to cut out and replace much rotted wood, which they did well.

Outstanding job. Martin and his crew painted the exterior of my house and I could not be happier with the results. Their attention to detail and quality of work could not be of higher quality. Martin and his highly trained crew take great pride in their work and it shows. I suppose it's possible to find a cheaper painting contractor but you will get what you pay for. On the flip side, you can not find a contractor, at any price, that will do a better job. Marlon's Painting is the best.

Highly recommend Marlon’s. Martin and his crew have done two jobs for me. They painted the exterior of my house, and after 2 years it still looks brand new. This year they took on the fencing around my property when no one else wanted to handle such a large job. They repaired all loose boards before power washing and staining the fencing. When the paint store couldn’t manage to match the stain color exactly, Martin and crew stayed at the store for 3 hours until the rookie employee finally got the color right. They then worked overtime to apply two coats of stain on the fencing. They really go the extra mile, and deserve 10 stars for their incredible work ethic, attention to detail, integrity, being friendly and courteous, and excellent clean-up. Will definitely hire them again.

Exceptional talent with the crew we had & they were acutely aware of keeping everything clean, as well as putting up all their equipment every night & bringing it out the next morning. It's refreshing to deal with a business who takes serious pride in their work, while keeping their costs under competitor's. Our project leader was Israel who is a perfectionist and expected the rest of his crew to maintain the high standards he himself does. He went out of his way to correct a problem noted at the end of the job and didn't stop until the job was done to perfection. Ask for Israel when you sign up with Marlon's. You'll be as equally impressed with the work they'll do on your house.

We hired Marlon's Painting to paint the exterior of our house in Grand Oaks Subdivision. I can tell you that Martin and his crew (Israel and Alberto) did an outstanding job of painting our house. My wife and I have hired Marlon's Painting twice. We first had them paint the exterior of our house. It was a huge task because the house has many awkward places where dirt and moisture collect, and that are difficult to reach. Marlon's Painting did an extremely thorough job cleaning and sealing the entire house before painting it. And the painters themselves did this tedious work (not some inexperienced junior staff person). The job they did actually painting the house was even more impressive. Marlon's got every single detail just right, including sanding and re-varnishing porch ceilings, dealing with complex trim, gutters, etc. The paint job is beautiful, and is holding up perfectly.

We later hired Marlon's Painting to do some difficult interior painting in the same house. This involved painting a plaster ceiling that had never before been painted, painting a brick and a stone fireplace, as well as some other areas throughout the house. They used an oil-based primer on the plaster, and specialty products on the stone and brick. Their work was beautiful, and we are very glad we didn't do it ourselves. Even with all of our years of painting experience, Marlin's does a much better job than we do.

In both of our experiences, Marlon's was fast, on-schedule, professional, friendly, and very cost effective. We will hire them again (after a much-needed break from home renovation projects)!
