Marble Builders is a great company to work with, professional, friendly, efficient and knowledgeable. We had a nasty repair from water damage in two bathrooms, they responded quickly and did a remarkable job! Working with Mike who was in constant contact with us, Tony and Jesus by far the best quality and workmanship in the world. Our bathrooms look better than ever! Excellent in every way, communication, quality, consideration and respect. I highly recommend them for your home disaster or home project.

Marble Builders/Standard Restoration did a very good job getting my home back in order after our upstairs shower drain broke through the bottom of our shower. They were very professional. Kudos to Michael Bagley, the Marble Builders project manager, who was outstanding and very professional. He was also very accommodating and helped me with all my questions and concerns.

Very courteous and helpful. Rick made sure I understood everything and was very willing to answer my questions. Miguel did beautiful work and I really like the paint colors and the job they all did.

We recently remodeled our primary bathroom and couldn’t be happier! Rick was so good at keeping us in the loop through each stage. Everyone who came was respectful and came when they said they would come. We have several remodeling projects to complete in our home and we will definitely be using Marble builders when the time comes!

We needed some repairs following a major plumbing leak and Marble Builders manager, Mike Bagley, came to the rescue. He immediately called me back, came over to my house later that day, then sent me an estimate and quote that evening and sent his team the next morning. His team, led by Alex, immediately went to work installing insulation and Sheetrock on a ceiling and wall. They made sure my floors were protected as they went back and forth to their truck and trailer for tools and supplies. They were very polite and friendly and took the time to keep me informed with their work and plans. Alex’s work taping the Sheetrock was first rate…..no flaws at all. And his priming and painting work on the ceiling and wall was extremely professional and he even matched some of the paint colors perfectly. He also had to do some carpentry work with a door frame and some tricky baseboard installation which was expertly done. The work was expertly finished ahead of schedule……a real first rate job!

Had a waterline break in our rental property. The tenant’s living space was affected so we were anxious to get the repair done in a timely manner and maintain a high level of quality. Mike from Marble was great to work with. We had worked with a previous project manager who was not responsive at all, so it was quite refreshing to work with Mike who was responsive and professional. He got people there quickly and the job was done in a couple of days. Very satisfied!

Marble Builders was recommended to me by Standard Restoration following water damage caused by a leaking shower. They were highly responsive, provided clear explanations of the necessary repairs, and addressed my insurance inquiries. Mike was very polite, and I appreciated the clear communication.

After weeks of waiting for another company to complete the sewer and water line repairs (unfortunately over the holidays), Mike and his team were ready to begin rebuilding my basement the very next day. They all did an excellent job in my laundry room. It looks beautiful, I am so pleased that they were able to get it done before some of my family gets here for Christmas, because that's the bathroom they use, just off the laundry room. I love the new flooring they put in too! Good job on all of it. I would highly recommend them to you. They were polite and respectful.

Short review: acceptable quality of work and negotiation with insurance, but terrible organization, timeliness, and communication. Dishonest and unresponsive project manager who confirmed things had been ordered which never were and ignored multiple calls/texts/emails. Thankfully, project manager Mike turned this from a 1 star review into a 2 after he took over from Kevin who I've been told has since been "assisted out."

Long review: We were referred to Marble Builders by Standard Restoration after a failed shower pan caused water damage to our basement ceiling and cabinets, and the upstairs flooring/bathroom.

The estimate took almost a full month to get back. We were about to get a bid from another builder but after another follow up call to our insurance we learned that Marble had been negotiating with them and was close to a final number.

Once the claim was approved and bid was accepted, we started the rebuild in April. We were told the basement drywall, cabinet replacement, and painting would take 1-2 days, and the upstairs would take about a week. The basement ended up taking a full week, and the upstairs took over 6 months!

Contractors consistently showed up not knowing what part of the job they were supposed to be doing and not being able to communicate clearly in English. The drywall guy, Fudo, mistakenly put drywall in the shower which he then had to take out. He did a good job with the ceiling and paint downstairs but could not do the cabinets himself as it was a 2 person job. Despite me telling Kevin that it was a 2 person job, he sent Alex alone who had to come back another day with a partner. He did a good job with the cabinets and the downstairs was finally done.

Upstairs, the whole bathroom floor needed to be redone, and this is what seemed to drag on forever. Contractors showed up when they weren't scheduled, didn't show up when they were supposed to, and even showed up once when we were out of town on a Saturday. Despite the expectation that they would complete the work during business hours they often stayed late into the evening, which conflicted with plans/guests on many occasions.

Sub contractor Marlon and his crew did good work with the flooring, shower pan, greenboard, drywall, except for nonmatching grout colors and poor transitions to carpet. While the quality was overall good, the speed and cleanup were not. They often left dust all over our countertops, carpet, and closet connected to the bathroom. Very little progress seemed to be made each day they were working. We had confirmed our tile order with Kevin weeks previous, but apparently it was never placed so there were more delays with that.

Kevin confirmed in July that he had also ordered the soap and shampoo shelves, as well as a new showerhead. (Contractors broke the old one when trying to reinstall it). Once the shower door was finally installed (September) the final steps were to put in the soap and shampoo shelves. This is when Kevin became totally unresponsive to my texts and calls, and the only way I was able to get a hold of him was to call the main office and have them get him on the line. He said he would have Marlon come out to finish those items. I spoke with Marlon and he said he had since quit working for Marble because they weren't paying him what was promised and also avoiding his calls/messages. Alex ended up coming to install the showerhead (which was never ordered) so he went and bought one and then installed it. We finally had a functional shower at his point, but the job wasn't finished.

Mike called us in October and said he would be taking over our project and could have contractors come out that week to finish everything. They no showed once, and Mike proactively called to apologize. We were surprised when Marlon showed up but he was now working for Marble again because Kevin had been let go, and expressed he had similar experience of terrible communication along the way. Finally after over 6 months the job was finished. I can't recommend Marble based on our experience, but am hopeful things have improved.

Great overall experience with Marble! They did a nice job on our basement. Mike, who we worked with, was excellent at providing updates from start to finish.

Our water heater flooded our basement 3 weeks after buying our home. Mike and his crew have been absolutely amazing to work with, patient, willing to listen and come back multiple times just to address even small concerns. Mike has gone above and beyond to make this process as stress free as possible for us, he has a great eye for detail and things I wouldn’t have seen - I would highly recommend.

Busted water pipe caused damage to bedroom wall and carpet. Michael Bagley, Project Mgr from Marble Builders did and excellent job of coordinating all repairs and providing my insurance company all the necessary documentation. Excellent customer service from Michael and his subs.

How do you drag a small bathroom/laundry room restoration project out for 6 months? Hire Marble Builders and have Kevin be your project manager. That's how.

As requested, I paid half up front to Marble Builders in early May. After that, my project was quickly shoved to a back burner.

In June, I asked Kevin to get someone to Demo the bathroom so we could get the project started. He asked me "Who is going to pay for that?" but reluctantly got a crew in to do the demo. That was an indication of how my project was going to go.

In early August, I asked him if we could finish the project by September. He promised to make that happen. One Friday, I got a phone call at the office telling me there were workers waiting on my door step. I rushed home to let the tile guys in. They found my bathroom still stripped to the studs. Obviously not ready for tile. They weren't happy, and neither was I. Kevin apologized and asked me to wait. After an hour, he texted "Go back to work, no one is coming today."

Ridiculous!

Marble Builders finally hired Roger's team at Wise Flooring and Design to rebuild my shower and tile my bathroom. They did an amazing job and were easy to work with.

Next, Kevin sent a very disgruntled Yugoslavian to do possibly the worst drywall job ever. (see photos) If the man owned a drop cloth, it never left his van. He tracked drywall mud all over my wood floors and left it for me to clean up, along with a ton of drywall dust coating everything in my house. He also refused to fix any holes in my drywall below ankle level. "Get bigger baseboards!" It's probably just as well, the holes he did fix were clearly visible after he used paint to stick some of the old puddy back into the nail holes. (see photos)

More wasted vacation days.

After I emailed the shoddy drywall repair photos to Marble Builders management and told them I didn't want him back, Kevin sent Alex to fix Faud's work. Alex was meticulous in his attention to detail. He covered my floors with construction paper and cleaned up before he left. If only they sent Alex to begin with..

But the job still wasn't finished.

In October, I got a phone call from Mike informing me that he was my new project manager and was very motivated to complete the job to my satisfaction. That's the last I heard from Mike until November.

November 18th, Wise Flooring finished the bathroom tile. and it looks fantastic!

I'm an extremely patient man, but I had to push and shove this project every step of the way. My project manager was uncooperative, seemed distracted and was completely disorganized. My pleas to Marble Management to replace Kevin with someone better suited to manage a project fell on deaf ears. Their responses were defensive, not proactive.

If I had it to do over, rather than just hire the first company suggested by Standard Restoration, I would have called Referral Hub. I contacted them this summer looking for other options and they were shocked at the way my project was being handled.

Marble was excellent to work with for a installation of a new floor. Mike and the team were super communicative. Their team was very professional and worked super hard to honor their word and make all deadlines meet. The remodel looks amazing. Trustworthy and skilled team

Less than 2 years after Marble Builders finished our shower it needs to be replaced. The first image is not a "before" picture, but one from the middle of the job. They installed the floor tile on the back wall and had to rip it out. This started a process of needing to start over on the shower pan which is a mess. I posted a picture from up higher in the shower to show they are capable of doing a better job.

Around the area where the tile was ripped out we are getting discoloration in the tile. It is not clear if it is mold or an air gap. Either way it is getting bigger over time and needs to be dealt with. The seat was never quite square which has caused gaps to open up in the grout. It was like this from day one, but the job took so long to finish (6 months) we were just happy to get them out of the house.

I judge a company well if they back their product. I don't expect anyone to be perfect, so as long as they make it right in the end then I am happy. I gave Marble Builders the opportunity to fix their mistakes and they declined to back their product and reputation. So, please learn from my mistake and AVOID THIS COMPANY. There are much better options out there.

*Update* After reaching out to the company they made sure to make it right and fix the sheet rock as well as the shelves in our garage that was damaged due to the P trap that was done back in 2022. They made sure to cover the damage free of charge in exchange for a 5 star review. Michael was super professional and sent Nester out to fix the damage and he did a great job.

We hired marble builders back in November 2022 after a referral from Bingham restoration. They came out to fix a major leak that we had and restore all the damage that was done. We were referred to them by our plumber. We hired a plumber who came out and fix the leak and they were supposed to remodel the bathrooms and do the sheet rock in our garage. The whole time we had them come out We would always ask them is the shower supposed to be tilted that way why does the tile not lineup things like that and they kept saying that that was normal. Fast forward to about a month ago August 2024 We had the same leak. We had a plumber come out after a restoration company came out to dry everything. The plumber showed us that the reason we now had this week is because when marble builders put the sheet rock up in the garage they drilled into the P-trap that was replaced causing a slow steady leak for the last two years.

Our experience with Marble was so pleasant. They went above and beyond to make sure the final product looked as good as new. They were also very timely and finished everything ahead of schedule.

I had a leak from my washing machine, and it caused damage in multiple rooms and down into the basement. We were recommended marble builders from the restoration company, and they have done amazing work. Mike and Kerrigan have made sure we are happy with the work and have been able to adjust for us if we needed to change anything, during the process.

Mike was so wonderful. He took care of me until the very end and was honest and willing to answer any questions I had about anything or anything that I had to sign. He was so kind and professional and I felt like I was able to be on top of the project I had ahead of me, because he was so up front with everything. I will already be using him for my next project. This is a great company of honest people.

Mike and Kerigan remodeled our home a year ago. Great to work with and excellent workmanship. Lots of different talents.

I had a rental with smoke damage and Mike Bagley over saw the repairs. He worked closely with the workers to
insure the work was done correctly and kept me apprised of the status of the repairs. He was dependable and conscientious of the cost of the repairs to make sure I was
not charged for things that were not done. He worked closely with the insurance company avoiding me getting involved. I cannot say enough about Mike's work ethic. I would not hesitate to recommend Mike for any projects in the future.

Marble Builders was hired to rebuild my basement following damage caused by a broken sewer line. They were awesome ! Jerry Loveland, project manager, was very easy to reach either by phone, text or email, was always on top of things and responded in a timely manner. He kept me informed of the progress, who would be coming to work in my home and what they would be doing. Erick and Nestor did a superb job in the rebuild process; they called before they arrived so I was aware they were on their way or they would let me know if they had been delayed. They were all very professional; meticulous to detail and did a great job in rebuilding my damaged basement. I am so happy to have my home look nice again. Kudos to everyone at Marble for a job well done. They get five+ stars from me! After a pipe burst in my flat, causing a flood, I had the pleasure of collaborating with Marble Builders on a home restoration project. From start to finish, the experience was exceptional.
Jerry Lovelace, our project manager, is a lovely gentleman who did everything he could to make the renovation process as stress-free as possible. His commitment and attention to detail were visible throughout the entire project.

This is absolutely hands down the most honest company I have ever come across. They are straight forward with pricing, they don't price gouge and help you work with your insurance company. Honestly, I did not have a good experience with Marble Builders. Communication was terrible, they were SLOW (it took them 3 weeks just to submit an estimate to the insurance), and they sent me incorrect invoices TWICE, which if I hadn't caught, I would have over-payed by a large amount. The granite guy mis-measured our countertop, and so they had to make a small "backsplash" to fill the gap. The only reason they got 3 stars was because of Erick and his men who did our flooring. Erick and his men were hard workers, and did a great job for us.

Jerry, Erick, and team were fantastic to work with. They kept in constant communication, were extremely professional and detail oriented with their work. Would highly recommend their services to anyone looking for home repairs.

Working with Jerry Lovelace and Marble Builders has been absolutely fabulous. We had water damage from a broken pipe. They had to remove some of the cabinetry and also some of the hardwood flooring. By the time they were done, it looked as good as new. I was impressed with their attention to detail. Both my wife and I especially appreciated that Jerry was our one point of contact. One call to him and we knew that we didn't have to worry. Not only did Jerry require excellent work from others, but he wasn't happy with the job until we were happy with the job.

I'm only writing this because I was able to get my money back. We hired Marble to redo a flooded kitchen (the mitigation company suggested them). They did a walk through, took half the deposit......that's it.

We emailed and called their estimator for 3 months for an update and got nothing. Finally the owner got involved and we were given an 'invoice' that had zero price breakdown, just 'units' and the final price.

If a company can't do something as simple as respond to an email what makes you think they can redo a kitchen?

Sure enough a day before my vacation, I find a broken pipe flooding my laundry porch. Got a plumber to repair and a friend told me about Marble Builders Restoration . I contacted them in a panic and immediately found relief as they listened and accommodated and scheduled repair to suit my personal needs as I was to be gone for 10 days . I was able to relax, go on my vacation and knew I was in good hands. The staff is professional, efficient , very flexible and provided great communication.

We had a flood in our kitchen, we reached out to jerry with marble builders and he was fantastic! They got mitigation going right away and Ally our estimator was the best!

Quite possibly the worst company we've ever dealt with. They no showed on us at least 10 times, it took almost a year to get floors installed and some kitchen cabinets replaced and painted after a flood, they sent the owners other company to do demo. Those guys used 3 sledge hammers to pull up tile because they didn't have the right tool and they damaged the subfloors, the ceilings below. The grout cracked in a bathroom not even connected because they were so rough so we ended up having to replace that as well. They damaged my banisters by Accidently hitting them with sledge hammers. Everything was inconsistent and communication was poor. We canceled 2 family vacations because they said they were coming on weekends and just never showed or called. Unprofessional and completely disorganized. We ended up hiring other people to complete the job and having to go back and forth on the bill because they were charging for work incompleted. A year later the paint is falling off the cabinets and the kitchen island isn't even straight. The subs weren't happy with marble because they wouldn't pay them. Our insurance told us not to go with them but we were desperate for a contractor. We checked them out before and they had a contractors license but when work was half way through we found out the guy with the license had left the company. I sure hope they got their act together since then but our experience was just awful. We've hesitated leaving a review for fear of retaliation. But morally feel like it's our responsibility to post our experience.

What a nightmare. JeanLuc was our project manager and he was terrible. They didn't do the work themselves they hired another contractor and scheduling was an endless struggle. They promised they would be out on a certain date and then had to push it back. It took over two months to finish 5 days of work. They also would show up when we told them not to.

Stay away from Marble Builders. Months of a renovation and they cannot keep any commitments. They say they will be working on something then they don't show. The contractor over the subs is useless. Some of the subs have no experience in what they are doing. The subs are quitting, claiming they will never work with Marble again. About as poorly run as is humanly possible.

They do a good job if you can get them to do the job. First job they did they scedualed the repairs on the guys vacation didn't thunk to call us to reschedule or let us know. The project manager never returned calls or called back when he said he would and I couldn't get a hold of him half the time.. but the did do a prety good job so I decied to give them a 2ed chance big mistake almost 2 months of silence and this time I can't even get ahold of anyone even at the number on the website. It wouldn't be so bad it they at least let me know what's going on or why it's taking so long

My family and I went out for a little family night dinner, the day was going great we had a fantastic time when we got home everything changed in seconds, before we left to go out my son wanted to take a bath and left the water running so while we were out at dinner for I’d say a little over two hours the water from our upstairs bathroom had been running the water flooded our bathroom and went into our ducts and traveled down to our kitchen our ceiling gave in we had water damage to our cabinets flooring almost all the walls had damaged I was lost for words I didn’t know what to do I started looking around to who we should call I didn’t have time, so I called Marble Builders I told them what had happened they had there project estimator Will, come out within that hour even though it was late at night when he got there they were very professional I could tell my home was in good hands this company from the first call to the last helped us out answered every question we had.
Marble Builders redone our bathroom and kitchen I would never wish this upon anyone but if this happens to you call this company they are professional they care for you and they will take care of you like family best experience I could have wished for and lastly thank you Marble Builders you have my trust and I hope I never have to go though this again but if so I know who to call.
