Brian and Domingo were the best !! They quickly and efficiently completed the cleaning and maintenance of our gas fireplace that had not been used for 5 years. Call them for service - you will be glad you did !

Read the reviews carefully, where there's smoke there is fire. My experience was terrible to say the least. Incompetent operation from top to bottom. Over the course of a year they still never properly fixed my pellet stove. Each tech that came out thought it was a different problem. Then they said they're weren't able to find parts for my stove but in 5 minutes I found options online. I ordered the part I needed, replaced it and it works fine now. Sadly that was after wasting way too much money on this outfit. If you haven't engaged them yet, run away while you still can.

Charged 349 for sweep and "complimentary" inspection. Was told there was a crack in the flu lining in the top 1/3rd and the cheapest fix was 7 grand. 10 grand if I wanted to forgo an insert and keep my nice brick fireplace.

I get a second opinion, and the "crack" is actually just a hairline fracture, which was repaired for a quarter of the price.

Prices are high, responsiveness was subpar, and if I had to guess the guys cleaning your chimney get a commission on anything they manage to sell you (like a 7 grand insert to repair a crack).

Ryan and his assistant serviced/cleaned our fireplace and even provided us free rocks that make it look like ambers. The company was great at calling us when they had an earlier opening to see if we were interested in them coming sooner and sent a text message along with a photo of the technician coming which is a great added level of safety! Highly recommend this company.

Watched this company clean my neighbors chimney and they do not clean form the roof! What kind of service was this?
Usually hire who they have do any work for them this time will pass.
This company always had two people why send only one this is not good with ladder etc...

I received great service from Shawn & Ryan today who did a total clean and reset of my Harman pellet stove (fireplace insert). They were professional and left no trace of their visit when they were gone. They even gave me a quick tutorial on my unit with tips on making it even more efficient. I had a replacement gas fireplace installed and my experience with Magic Broom (the actual installer) in conjunction with Tri-County Hearth & Patio was very satisfying. Shawn and his crew of 2 from Magic Broom were above all, very friendly in addition to being timely, professional, answering all my many questions, explaining all procedures and fireplace functionalities, and they cleaned up and took away all debris. I am a happy camper and a happy customer….100%!!!

The come on is to get you to request a chimney sweep. They charge $349.00 for this service which takes about 10 minutes and does not remove all creosote because the brushes "can't reach all of the surfaces".
The remaining part of the visit is taking pictures and trying to convince you, you need $7,000.00 of repairs as they advise you not to use your fire place until these repairs are made.

My fireplace was cleaned and serviced by Daniel. Although he was on time and did a good job cleaning my fireplace, he discovered an issue that he wasn't able to fix on the spot due to not having the part available, which I understood. My issue is I noticed after he discovered the problem, he took pictures as if it was a normal working fireplace and started to rush to leave. He then told me Magic Broom will be in contact with me within a week to discuss fixing my issue. Its been over a month and I haven't heard from them. Every time I call, it goes straight to voicemail. This company is only good for a cleaning, and that's if you can get in contact with them. Good luck

The technicians, Dan and Max, were neat, knowledgeable and efficient. Provided easy to understand explanations, directions and next steps. I will definitely use this service again.

Had an inspection and sweep today. Just wanted to say Shawn is a pro at what he does, he was on time, very knowledgeable of his job and courteous. 10/10 will call again for any future maintenance/repairs needed.

I highly recommend this company. Daniel and his assistant (cannot remember his name) were professional, prompt, polite, quick and left absolutely no signs that they had even been here. They cleaned and inspected my fireplace and chimney and pointed out several problems after another company said my fireplace was perfect. Turns out its not, and I'm having this company do the work necessary to make it safe. They showed me pictures of the issues, everything they said made sense, and were very patient with my questions. They instilled a sense of trust I did not have with the other company. I plan to have them do the work needed to get me up to code, and more importantly, be safe. Its worth it to spend the money now, before other, more expensive problems arise. I cannot recommend these guys enough. Thank you Magic Broom.

My experience with Magic Broom has been A learning experience. I have had other chimney cleaners out to my house but they never go into detail about the fireplace or the chimney. Magic Broom has pointed out (with pictures) areas that needs attention. You guys are the best and I will continue to use you guys because I feel safe knowing that you all did a good job! Overall happy with service from Mike H. Tried calling office like follow up texted suggested with a couple concerns...1. My information and needs didn't appear to be passed to tech for day of visit. Didn't have my name correct or any information on stove. 2. Tech couldn't get in touch with his parts manager to find matching gasket, so hoping the one he installed works. 3. Never given email with time frame tech would be coming.
I asked Blair to have the person I spoke with call me and was astounded when told "he works from home and you may not hear from him". I asked, do you have a phone number that you could call him? Was told she would leave a note but he doesn't come in much. She said she didn't know when he would see it. Smh. Will update if I get a call back.

The Magic Broom team did an excellent job in repairing our chimney crown and replacing the cap. Very courteous and effective personnel on both the phone and at the job site.

Bryan and Marcus performed the inspection and cleaning of my wood pellet stove and exhaust pipes. They did an excellent job and were professional, courteous, neat, clean, trustworthy, and respectful. After cleaning they started up the pellet stove to ensure everything was in working order. It was great to have someone come in and do such a thorough job.

THE REVIEWS ARE MISLEADING: Magic Broom was contacted to clean my elderly mother's chimney. They said the fee would be $349.00. They showed up, DID NOT clean the chimney, and STILL charged my mother $349.00! These people are dishonest and not to be trusted. To get their $349.00 they charged my mother, a recent widow, a $200 show-up fee! Which is reasonable (sarcasm) since they had to travel a full FIVE (5) MILES to get here! And also charged $149.00 for a $60 cap you can buy on amazon! They did not disclose that ridiculous fee when they were hired! Additionally, their assessment of the chimney was inaccurate as well. They claimed there were bats but they are in fact chimney swifts (a federally protected bird). After leaving three messages, I finally got a person. I was then contacted by the manager (Brian), Brian promised to get back with me after talking to the Owner. That was a week ago. I gave them an opportunity to make this right and they refused, instead, choosing to take advantage of the elderly. These guys are shameful and I invite them to dispute the facts that I have stated here.

Update: We contacted Magic Broom to come service our fireplace after our first positive experience a few years back. Bryan and Domingo took care of things in such an expedient manner, with the friendliness and professionalism we have always experienced from this team. Very grateful and will call next season!

Eric and Marcus were excellent! Both were polite and professional. Eric even recommended an alternate solution to my originally scheduled service which saved me $100... saying, "Let me save you some money and recommend a chimney cap instead. Brian and Mike arrived at the top of the delivery window and got straight to work. They were respectful of my home by taking off shoes, applying drop cloths, etc. Brian explained all of what they would do and updated me on things they found during the cleaning. Working together they were fast and efficient while offering options that would allow me to work my fireplaces more easily. I appreciated them taking time to educate me on off-season maintenance and other tips for maintaining my units.

Bryan Santos and Mike did an excellent job with my wood insert fireplace today. They took extra care keeping my new rug near the fireplace clean and removed their shoes when entering the house. Also I received pictures of the inside of my cleaned fireplace. Bryan who is a valuable and knowledgeable employee gave me helpful instructions on the care of my fireplace. Magic Broom is the only place I use for my fireplace cleaning and the great friendly service is a plus.

Robert & Dustin were awesome, they were very professional. They answer every question I asked, both of them were very knowledgeable about my pellet fireplace. Had a great experience with Magic Chimney, Bryan and Mike who came out to do the cleaning and inspection were knowledgeable and respectful of our home. They did the cleaning and were even able to install a chimney cap on the day of service as our was in really bad shape which we didn't realize. Overall I would recommend this company and will probably keep using them for our chimney and fireplace servicing.

Requested an inspection and the job was completed. I received a very detailed inspection report with pictures. I didn't not receive these details from the previous chimney company.
Received a reference for a fireplace rebuilding company they are familiar with.

The review is for the initial inspection and the tech was really good and thorough. The issue was when when i was priced with multiple quotes that was very expensive. I would recommend shopping around to get better quotes. Went with another company that 1/3 the price they quoted me.

The gentlemen came to clean and repair my pellet stove. They were on time and wore PPE the entire time. They cleaned the stove and started it up. After they left it stopped so they returned immediately, reinspected it, made additional adjustments, restarted it and stayed until it cycled thru the start up cycle. I was very happy with the work.

Overall great experience. Technician (William) was amazing. Great coherent work ethic. Went above and beyond to advise on how to operate the fireplace!

The young man was punctual and professional. He didn't waste time sugar coating the issues with the fireplace of the home I just bought; he inspected, gave me 3 options and never pressured me for a decision.

Technicians Glenn and Quan do an excellent job! They are very knowledgeable and thorough. I formerly had a maintenance contract with another company and after their last service visit about a year ago, the glass slipped and was falling out of the seal and this eventually tore the gasket. Glenn and Quan reworked the gasket and resealed the glass and checked for a few other things, including testing for carbon monoxide. I am very impressed with their professionalism and expertise and plan to enter into a fireplace maintenance contract with MagicBroom later this year. Thanks for a job well done!!
