Highly recommend this company. Had my chimneys, 2 woodburners and stove pipes cleaned out today. Messaged them on Tuesday and they came out on Thursday, and that's only because I wasn't home on Wednesday. He was on time, very professional and very thorough. I'll certainly be calling them again for cleaning or any repairs.

We were very happy with the service from the Absolute Chimney Team. The guys were on time, polite and answered all of our questions (we had many). We had two new liners put in (fireplace and boiler), a new chimney cap, and repairs/repointing of the brick. Great having the fireplace fixed before the holidays.

Very professional team and in all my dealings with them I have felt that they were trustworthy and very reasonable. A competitor came in at well over 25% of their fee. The work was done very efficiently and it turned out looking way better than I had expected. We needed to have some work done on a chimney that vents our water heater as part of selling a house, and the buyer selected Absolute to perform the repairs. Jim and his team were able to fit the project in within the closing deadline and communicated well throughout the process. The repairs look good to the untrained eye. Absolute Chimney was the only contractor willing to tackle the smoking issues in our 70 year old fireplace. I sent Jim our inspection and he sent me an estimate the next date that was accurate and fair. The scope of work was removing the old clay tiles in our liner, installing a new liner, damper, and smoke chamber parging. His guys were out the next week and did an amazing job over the course of 3 days. They were courteous and never complained about the back breaking job of manually breaking out a seized cast iron damper and creosote covered clay tiles while laying in the fireplace. Their craftsmanship is excellent, our fireplace is safe to use once again, and looks like it will work better than ever! I cannot recommend them highly enough!

First let me say I have not used their service. But the first thing I do when I am looking for a company is to read their review. I was fine with the reviews, but when I saw the replies to 2 negative reviews and this company calling people "karen" i knew right then I would not even call. not cute, not funny. lost business

10/05/2021 - Dan arrived at the stated appointment time to inspect and clean our chimney for a wood burning heat stove we use in our kitchen. Dan was very professional and took precautions while he was cleaning the chimney to prevent soot from entering the room. Highest rating is given to Dan for his strong work ethic, competence, respect, competitive pricing, and friendly attitude. I will use Dan and Absolute Chimney in the future without hesitation. Dan did an excellent job, and we appreciate him taking our job, located in the City of Pittsburgh, in a timely manner before it gets cold enough to use the stove!

I had Absolute Chimney purchase and install a custom chimney cap for me. The cap looks great and the installation was perfect. The team that came out to do the install was courteous, efficient and clean. Other than the great looking chimney cap you couldn't even tell that they were there. If I need any chimney related work in the future I will definitely call Absolute Chimney!

This company based a quote off of a picture I texted to them on request. The quote was a list of nine things, not itemized by cost, and they never came to see the chimney in person.

After reviewing your response, I am more convinced that your business practice with me was not good and I am confident in my review. There is no way you should have been on my property without my knowledge and if you were on the roof that's even worse.

I requested an estimate to fix two chimneys on my home from Absolute Chimney and Fireplace Restoration's (Elizabeth Township PA's). I did not use Absolute Chimney and Fireplace Restoration's services. I am giving them the 1 star rating because I received their mailed work proposal or estimate in the mail. I cannot read the name signed on their work proposal.The amount on Absolute Chimney and Fireplace Restoration's estimate is 11,875.60. I found another reputable company to fix the same chimneys for 3,600.00. The work was done a few weeks ago by the other company and both chimneys look great. The difference in price is 8,275.60. Huge difference in price!

Our chimney was struck by lightning and was in quick need of repair. They were here the next day to inspect our chimney and give us an estimate. I have had work done relining my chimney for fireplace and hot water tank by Absolute Chimney. The owner and workers are professional, courteous and answered any questions. I was also given an estimate which was stuck to and reasonable in comparison. Job well done.

When they showed up at my house, without calling first as requested, they went to the back door. My mother, who lives next door went to see who they were (2 guys at the door at 9:00am on Memorial Day). When she asked them they said to her that she had no right to ask. She identified herself as my mother and said she would help them to get me if they would tell her who they were. They replied that they were leaving and stormed off.
Would it have been so difficult to identify yourself? If you had called in the first place, none of this would have happened.

Update: When they saw this review (not when they got back to the vehicle), they called me and started swearing at me and saying things and calling me things I can't even print here and threatening me. I work with contractors very frequently and I have never been treated in this manner. Now I am actually afraid they are going to do something to me, my family, or my house.
