Mad Dad Handyman was better than I even imagined possible. Tim checked off everything on my list of things needing to be done in a reasonable amount of time and with great expertise. He didn’t skimp on anything and actually went over and above my expectations. I would recommend this company for all one’s home improvement needs.

Tim did a fantastic job installing our bathroom exhaust fan, and in less time than I thought it would take. We had a contractor walk off the job, and Tim basically saved us. We're so happy with his work that we are hiring him to redo the entire bath. Such a nice guy too!

I was really impressed with Tim. Even though it was a small job. He treated it with attention and detail. I would definitely recommend him. The price was fair, and reasonable. While most companies won't even return my call. Tim completed the job within 1 1/2 weeks of me reaching out to him. If you have a list, "of things to do", that you would like to scratch off. I would recommend reaching out to Tim.

Tim is pretty top notch. We had him come out to change a vanity, he was quick about getting us a quote and was out a day later to do the work. He fixed a couple boards on the handicap ramp leading up to the house, without us asking, that was such a nice gesture. Thanks for the great work Tim!!

Nice guy and does a great job on the work. Gave him the sheet of how the HOA needed the work done. One section wasn’t done as needed. I noticed after the work was done and when I reached out he sent a quote for over $200 to come back and finish the job as it should have been done from beginning. The sheet I gave him had all the requirements from HOA. Therefore my frustration is with the company since he missed or did not fully read the sheet I gave him. He does a good job for sure, just make sure to double check its done how you need before paying.

I only liked his attention to detail. I had ask him to produce an itemized bill with hours worked, hourly rates, receipts for materials purchased, he stated, that “ My software doesn’t do that”. I said what happened to paper & pencil? I DON’T LIKE FEELING TAKEN ADVANTAGE OF!!!. He tells me to pay up, because he stated, “ I have a house payment that I won’t be able to make unless you pay your bill this week”.

Absolutely one of the best people I’ve hired. So friendly. So knowledgeable. Funny as could be, and was fast and efficient! 10 out of 10 would recommend!

We hired Tim to build some custom cabinet doors for some existing built in shelving. He did a wonderful job! The custom cabinet doors look like they were always there! Tim was very good at coordinating with my schedule, communicating timelines, and getting the job done in a reasonable amount of time. I recommend Tim to any of your projects.

I am someone who prides himself on taking care of his home and being fairly self-reliant while doing so. Health has prevented me from doing so the past few years. Our house was in need of help.

We contacted Tim from Mad Dad Handyman to help out with some critical "test projects." He was amazing. He handled difficult projects efficiently, and to a degree of quality that made my worry about not maintaining my home myself go away.

After the initial projects were completed, my wife and I decided to have Tim come to our house one day a month to get our house back in order and keep up on the routine maintenance I cannot do. Our list of things to catch up on were varied and many, both large and small, and both immediate and long-term. I am pleased to say that we've worked with Tim for several months now. He has become a partner as we update our house, offering suggestions when we're out of ideas, and solutions when we ask the question, "Hey Tim, what would you do about this problem?" Slowly, but surely our home is returning to something we can once again be proud of!

Tim has always kept to the schedule we've agreed upon, and there have been no surprise charges. We feel lucky to have him on our team, and give him my highest possible recommendation to anyone that needs a handyman - anything from big projects to very small, 15-minute to-do's. Thank you Tim!!!

Tim did a great job for us. He was very thorough in his explanation on what he was going to. The under counter kitchen detached and dropped. He also installed a new kitchen faucet. He pays attention to the small details. Which adds to the quality of the finish job. Highly recommend for any project you want done.

Great job. Built a platform for the top of my stairs and installed a safety bar in my small entryway. I was always worried someone was going to fall down the stairs trying to get in it out the door. Nice work, on time & professional.

Our company performed a move for his home and commerical warehouse to Brighton michigan. Tim had a signed contract with us stating he had a non binding , by the hour bid. After completing the move tim decided to pay what he wanted and not the final total of the invoice. Our attorneys will be contacting you and we will be seeing you in court Tim.

This is not a good way to treat other company's. We completed work for you, it was a non binding quote. you signed off on the estimate with these terms stated. Pay your bills tim.

as to your claims of missing and damaged tools and items. We were on site for 6 days. And this was never brought up until after your invoice was sent out and you were unhappy with your invoice total.

Do Not hire this guy. We needed rotted wood siding board replaced, recaulked and repainted. Tim said he could do that no problem and gave us an estimate of $800 without coming out to look at at it( this was the first red flag). Then when asked about making sure the wood matched he said he only used a type of composite siding board and when I questioned whether it would match he said thats all he used and then went on the brag how many times he has done this type of work so we ignored this 2nd red flag(our fault) and hired him. He came out and immediately walked around the house and told us there were more boards than.the estimate and it would be $1200. The estimate stated they would match the current paint color and repaint. So he supposedly took a board to the store and got paint. The caulk he used was not paintable so initially you could see through the paint, plus he ised a paint that was had a different sheen...then when we questioned whether the paint matched because it looked slightly different he said it was because it was still wet.
So we paid the balance and when it dried still didnt match. We wound up having to have it repainted costing us $400 more. We let him know how unhappy we were and that we had to have someone come fix his shoddy work and he didnt even respond.

Was very happy with the work done. Tim was very friendly and professional. Work was finished fast and would recommend the company to anybody that needs electrical work.

Excellent handyman service, honest, dependable, and easy communication. Mad Dad Handyman has been servicing my house for about 5 years and fixed almost everything, including electrical and plumbing issues, misaligned doors, drywall, and cracks in my basement and patio concrete. Other completed services include remodeling my bathroom, painting all parts of my house, installing ceramic and marble tile, lighting fixtures, ceiling fans, crown and baseboard molding. Tim does everything to near perfection and I highly recommend him.

Tim was right on time and done a fantastic job caulking and painting my bump out where my French Door is in the back. He even fixed the sticking my door was doing. I would recommend Mad Dad Handyman to anyone. He’s very reasonable.

I wanted to have a gate installed across the top of my basement steps. Tim came took care of it the way I wanted it done. He was very happy to do so. I will use them again on another project. He was braver than my husband ever was, he asked for a list of anything I would like to have done no one has ever asked me for a list!

I googled and found Mad Dad Handyman, owner is Tim. He responded and asked for my lengthy 'Honey-do' list. Got a quote and we scheduled him to come out. He showed up on time, very personable and did a multitude of things for us. He added 54 cabinet/drawer knobs in kitchen, laundry room & 2.5 bathrooms. He put in a doorbell ringer, garage door pad for entering garage without a remote. He removed & installed a new ceiling fan and touched up the ceiling around fan base. He installed a new master bath light/fan fixture. He removed a 4 fluorescent light fixture and patched ceiling & used our ceiling paint to paint area. He will stop back in when light gets delivered for kitchen to install. He also hung up 2 large pictures for walls.
He owns the business and for all he did, it was worth it for peace of mind for my hubby & I!

Tim at MadDad installed a new bathroom light vent combo replacing a 40 year old existing one. He was highly professional, friendly, a hard worker and a good communicator about the process of installing it. He also uses an app that does appt reminders and notice of estimated arrival time. Im so pleased and glad i found him. I highly recommend his work

I have had Mad Dad Handyman come out to fix various maintenance issues I have had and they always take care of the issues quickly and do a great job!

Tim said he could replace a cracked vinyl plank and stair nose in my home. He sent an inexperienced young man who did fix the plank, but cracked a different one. He also pulled my stove out too far and caused a gas leak. He did not tell me until I asked why I smelled gas. Then Tim showed up with a $40 connection kit and said he'd have to charge me $200 to fix what his employee broke. Needing my stove and not knowing how to connect it myself, I paid him. He installed a metal stair nose that left the edges of the plank exposed. When I emailed Tim that I was unhappy and it needed to be fixed, he said he would send them back. When he did and it was fixed, he waited a few days and sent me yet another invoice for $140 additional. When I asked why, he said it costs him labor and fuel to come back. He is now harassing me for the $140 because his worker didn't do the job properly the first time. His employees were very nice, but also did not have anything nice to say about their boss.

Tim seems to thrive on intimidating and scamming people who cannot do the repairs themselves. He also uses electronic invoices that are live documents and can be changed by him at any time. They also do not accept partial payments. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

Job was paneling tear off, insulation, drywall and paneling of a basement wall.
Team showed up on time job, was friendly, professional, the job looks great and left a clean room after themselves.

Tim was prompt and very professional. He provided a detailed scope of work of the project prior to signing a contract, which gave me confidence he understood my expectations. He stuck to his promised schedule and finished prior to my holiday party, which was so important to me. The guys that did the work were multi-talented from demolition to finish work. Zero complaints! I requested a quote for a job to install a ceiling fan in my condo with high ceilings. Got the quote the next day then booked them the following day. The handyman was at my house the following Monday morning. In all from quote request to finish took less than a week! He even put together the fan. Good fast reliable service. Will use again at the end of Summer to have another fan installed in the bedroom. Thanks!

I found some water damage on the ceiling the other day, coming from the upstairs bathroom. Mad Dad had a van at my neighbor's house doing a kitchen renovation, so I knocked on the door and got their info. The same guys stopped by first thing the next morning before continuing with my neighbor! They diagnosed the problem quickly and set me up for a repair appointment. Could not be happier with Mad Dad so far!

When questioning the invoice and discussing the work order- Tim the owner was rude and nasty! He used profanities and insulted me. I was in shock and disbelief, and really disappointed because I was happy with his crew and the purpose of my follow up call after my questions were to schedule a time for them to come back; obviously we didn’t get that far.
The “Mad” part of his business name sure fits!
Do not work with this guy!

I have hired Mad Dad for several projects around my house and would highly recommend their services. Their team is professional, courteous and they did a great job!

Very professional operation, from the online quote request process, quote and contract. Received updates telling me who would be at my house to provide the services. Phone call telling me how far away they were. The range of services they provided were quite varied. Had them install a new light fixture and repair drywall where previous one had been. Removed a bi-fold door and installed a new swing door. Replaced a ceiling fan on a cathedral ceiling. Hauled everything away and completed faster than I anticipated. Yes, I will definitely be calling Mad Dad Handyman again!

We’ve had Tim out two years in a row to do work around our house - everything from fixing a back door latch issue to hanging multiple light fixtures. He even helped us find someone to replace our porch last year and to fix some landscaping this year!

Mad Dad Handyman seriously saved my home from further damage. There was a leak in a pipe in my master bathroom that was starting to cause issues to the dry wall. Tim and his crew replaced the pipe and the areas of the wall that had water damage in one day. I highly recommend them.
