Absolutely stellar work and customer service. Went above and beyond to troubleshoot and correct some substandard work he discovered (original to the house). Stayed much longer than initially expected to finish out all of the projects rather than wait and come back another day. Dedicated, quick, knowledgeable, friendly. Had them over twice. Been happy both times. Harm is a great guy and I had a good time chatting with him. Sometimes having service guys over when I'm not home or my wife is home alone can be a bit uncomfortable, but don't feel that way with him. I had an outstanding experience with Mac Electric! They upgraded my home's service and installed an E.V. plug flawlessly. From start to finish, they were on time professional and delivered exactly as promised within the set timeframe They even found and fixed some grounding issues while staying within the quoted price. Harm has been on a couple different projects around my house. He listens to what our needs are, gives suggestions, makes sure that everything is up to code all while being easy and friendly to work with. During our remodel project I am so happy I listened to him on the kitchen lights. Highly suggest him as your electrician on what ever project you have going on.

Update July 2025 Yet again Harm saves the day!! Purchased a new ac/heater that wouldn't work. Harm came out and worked on the electrical wires that run to them and now they work. Mac electric is one of the few that has worked on our home that when they come to do a job they get it done right the first time and you know you won't have to call them back to fix something that should have already been done.

SO thankful for Harm and team! A different electric company bailed on us the morning of our scheduled appointment. We needed electric work done before the HVAC team could finish their job fixing our AC otherwise we would be without AC for another week. I called up Harm in a panic that afternoon (he was referred to us by the HVAC company) and even though he was out of town, he had two of his apprentices come out ASAP to save the day! They were able to get the electric work done right as the HVAC team came and we had AC again!!!! They were fast, super kind and extremely fair priced! Definitely recommend!!

Harm did an amazing job updating our incoming power panel. I attribute his great installation that saved my roof when a week later a wind storm caused my pine tree to fall on that new line (pictured). He was able to come back and repair it in no time at all. Thanks Mac Electric

MAC Electric did an awesome job in helping with our lighting and dishwasher electrical hookup in our kitchen remodeling project. Harm and his apprentice are hard working, professional, trustworthy, and completed our job in one day!! They clean up after themselves which is especially nice in a remodeling project. Harm also was extremely knowledgeable in helping us decide what lighting would be the most efficient and would brighten up our dark kitchen!! Harm did my basement wiring. He was great to work with. He helped us decide fixtures, put everything in, and wired it up. We had an exhaust and heat fan problem. They took care of it and repaired some related wiring issues in short order. Professional, skilled and knowledgeable, big jobs or small. Prompt, reliable, helpful, honest and friendly. Mac Electric offers everything we could want or electrical work.

Mac Electric upgraded my service panel so I could install mini splits. I went with Mac because after several bids, I felt theirs was fair and Harm was friendly and trustworthy. He briefly explained what parts and work would be required instead of just making up a number to see if it stuck. I'm glad I did - the work looks great, he answered all my questions and I'm within the budget we set. I will definitely use them for my further needs and refer them to anyone I know.

Harm was simply amazing. We have a 100+ year old home and when trying to install some new lights on our own we ran into some issues. I called several other electricians in the valley. Harm answered the phone, spent time answering my questions. Like many electricians in the valley he is booked solid. The next day I get a text asking if he could come by and take a look. About 2.5 hours later we had our kitchen lights installed and issue fixed. I will be calling Harm again and will happily recommend him. He's a good guy, does quick work, and answered my questions as he went along. Five stars for sure.

I would imagine if one were to look up “Best Service Ever,” one would find Harm at Mac Electric. Why? Because we literally received the best service ever when he totally re-did and upgraded the entire electrical system at our cabin in Laketown, UT.

He accomplished that by:

* First, Harm was very dependable. We originally had contracted with another electrician, who put us off four times and wasted two months of our “remodel” time. Harm gave us a date and timeframe and stuck to it – such a difference!
* Second, Harm is very professional and friendly. He picked up every phone call and patiently answered our questions. Such a nice guy!
* Third, Harm has amazing expertise. We told him what we wanted and he expertly guided us to what would be the best choice. We now have things we love; things we didn’t even know were possible.
* And finally, Harm offers a very fair price. He detailed all the charges and we are very happy with the final cost.

This guy was awesome. I mounted a TV and didn't want to deal with the insulation while adding an outlet and passing through HDMI cables. He set something up with me, gave me some ideas, and as he became aware of running behind he texted me and let me know he would be 20 minutes late. He worked the whole time even when I was talking to him and being a distraction. We talked about everything from construction to raising kids. Really good guy. I would HIGHLY recommend him and hope to use him for future projects.

Let me save you the the pain and effort of finding a reliable, good-natured, fair-priced electrician. I don't often require the services of an electrician, but on occasion I need those services for some relatively simple, and some times complex, residential fix or update. In the past I've relied on referrals from businesses or acquaintances and tried the yellow pages to find the services. Getting a commitment from someone to just show up and look at the job can be a project in its own. I could name others who won't even follow up and return a phone call.
Then there was my experience with MAC electric. There was good communication, a sense of commitment, and ultimately a quality job completed on-time and at a reasonable price.

Harm was in charge and helped me with my place from the start (Sometimes on more than just the electrical). He Helped me get power in from the city and everything that was required from them. He Did all the wiring and installation of outlets, light switches, ceiling fan, water heater etc.. He did a great job. He was honest and fair; Showed up on time and had great communication at all times. The end result turned out great, there were no problems passing any inspections- he seemed to always go above and beyond to help out and I've had a good time getting to know him. I have used Mac Electric for several jobs on our 30 year old home. He has replaced thermostats, replaced faulty wiring and electrical outlets, updated our light fixtures and installed security lighting around our property. We really love how the outside fixtures gradually turn on when we arrive home at night. Harm was able to troubleshoot lighting that would turn on and off in an upstairs bedroom. I was certain he would refer me to Ghostbusters, but no--it was a faulty light fixture! Although I admit Ghostbusters would have been fun, it was good to have the issue resolved. We highly recommend Mac Electric for your home or business.
