You can't go wrong with Distin and MADD Construction! He was great to work with throughout the entire project. We made several changes mid construction and he just rolled with it no issues whatsoever. We were hesitant because we had a neighbor who went through TWO contractors for their remodle, but with Dustin that was never going too be an issue for us. He kept us informed, he would give us a time he would be there and he was there at that time everytime. The subs he worked with were great (the electrician sorry can't remember his name) was great and did a great job again while we made some changes mid project. Dustin's very fair with his pricing and the end results was beyond what we had hoped for. Dustin is the right person for the job I can not recommend him enough.

Dustan and his crew re-modeled my kitchen and bathroom from the ground up, in addition to replacing 2 doors and installing tile. The end product is stunning, with great reviews from my friends and family. Dustan was extremely prompt and communicative. Each step in the process was on time and performed with high quality. He quickly fixed any issues that came up and provided clear options when we needed to make decisions. The whole process was efficient and painless (surprising for a large re-model). I would recommend Dustan and his team to anyone looking to re-model their house.

Honestly, if I could give him 10 stars, I would. He was honest, fair priced and did great work. We hired him to finish our basement bathroom, some drywall work, window sills & closets. I’m the pickiest person I know and had zero problems with his completed projects. CALL HIM! You won’t regret it.

This is the 2nd time I’ve used MAAD; they’ve done a bathroom remodel, installed a rolling door and removed an archway - installed a wall - creating two separate rooms where there was one.
Dustan does quality work and holds his contractors to the same standards. He got me quotes quickly, prices are very reasonable, work was scheduled and completed without delay.

Dustan did an amazing job on my bathroom, created the perfect shower for us and we couldn't be more satisfied with his professional work, highly recommend him.

We needed an entire basement remodel and the first contractor we dealt with took 9 months to do absolutely nothing but order doors. No work was done, we paid him $15k as a down payment and it was very difficult to get our money back and he was extremely difficult to get in touch with. We ended up calling the DOPL to report him. Needless to say, I've had difficulties with contractors in the past.

So after that terrible experience I found Maad Construction and I was absolutely blown away with them. First off, Dustan always did exactly what he said he would and was very trustworthy. He was very transparent with pricing, he would tell me when something wasn't needed to save me money, he would always show up when he said he would, he would have sub contractors come back when they didn't do a good job, he offered recommendations when I didn't know what to do, he worked around our schedules, he was very thorough (even on things I wouldn't have noticed), he would let us know if he found anything that might cause problems down the road, and above all he was nice, honest, and always had our back.

Dustan is a perfectionist and he's just the type of person you want remodeling your house. I don't write reviews often, only when they're well deserved. I promise you'll be happy if you choose Maad Construction.

Showed when he said he would, answered all questions, listened to concerns and requests. Returned all calls in a timely fashion. Extremely satisfied with results. Would diffentely have him do any future work. Took an empty basement room and made it the nicest bathroom in the house.

I hired Maad Construction to help us finish our basement last fall, and I am extremely pleased with the end results! Dustan listened closely to what I wanted, gave me a fair bid for the work involved, and stuck to the numbers on that bid. His honesty, responsiveness, and attention to detail made him a pleasure to work with. I also really appreciated the timeliness and quality work of all the subcontractors he hired. The project took a little longer than expected due to pandemic-related supply delays, but Dustan worked hard to communicate those issues and mitigate them as much as possible. I would absolutely use Maad Construction again for our future home projects.

We are very happy with Maad Construction! We had them remodel our kitchen and transform our small master bed and bath into a beautiful master suite. He was ahead of schedule and communicated when anything was being done. If we had any questions, he responded quickly. Very detailed oriented! We would definitely recommend Maad Construction!

MAAD did an amazing job on adding a set of stairs to my back porch.
He removed the railing right where I wanted it, and was able to match up the exact decking material I had, for my new set of stairs.
He was also able to match the slope of the concrete, where the stairs landed, to make it look seamless.
A few months later I had them hang some doors and trim, in my basement, and it turned out great.

Dustan did a fantastic job replacing my countertops with Quartz countertops! Night and day difference really. The job went very smooth and quick. Just what you want with a job like this. I would recommend A+

Maad Construction remodeled our kitchen from floor up and we love it. Dustan worked with us to get all the colors and details that we wanted. He showed up on time and scheduled the painters and electrician on time. We are very pleased and would recommend him to anyone.

I am so happy that we went with Dustan from MAAD Construction for our kitchen remodel. We did a complete remodel, including taking down a wall, removing a window seat, tile, carpet, cabinets, etc. Dustan was easy to work with every step of the way. He was here bright and early each morning, ready to get to work. Anytime we had a question or needed to contact him, he always responded quickly. The remodel took about 6 weeks and included new flooring & paint in our living room, bathroom, closet and entryway too. We absolutely love our new kitchen! We would highly recommend Dustan and if we need work done in the future, we would not hesitate to contact MAAD Construction.

I just finished up a very nerve wracking job by Maad Construction...Dustan to be exact. I had a leak from the condo above. Found Dustan on Angies List, called and met with him on June 30th. He just barely finished a counter top job that was laminate and the smallest kitchen in Salt Lake city ever...2.5 months! My dishwasher sat in my living room for 4 and a half weeks! The electrician he had do the electrical (put my oven range back into place) blew my circuit board in it and Dustan told me to find someone to repair it which I had to track down & schedule myself then ended up having to pay for myself! (he eventually reimbursed me/took it off my total) I told him I felt like I was working for him when he seemed miffed that I hadn't gotten 2 bids for him!
His counter guy came back 3 times after having measured wrong and my fridge wouldn't fit back into place. It took so much time in between their mistakes and their repairing their mistakes.
He always had a different "remodel" or "big door" that came before me. I wish he had just told me that he was too busy. He underbid the other 2 bids I received and I ended up paying double what he originally told me because "subs these days think they need to get paid so much" Just once I wished he would tell the other customers who were more important than I that he had to do my job. It took an exasperated tearful phone call to get him to finally come himself and get it done. It took a few hours.
He had originally bid out to do a cabinet and a bit of dry wall behind my fridge as well. After seeing how long it took to do a counter top I decided to let him go. I asked him to meet me there because he never went back after the first bid visit and showed him where his guy had scraped my black fridge and my white wall and a piece of wood from my old column. He told me he would have to work full time fixing everything people claim his guys did.
I was so tired of getting stonewalled on everything. I had to let him go and vowed to make sure others knew of my frustrations. Small scale but real. Slow, under bid, kept charging me more...3 different times.
I have composed a letter to the Better Business Bureau as well.
