They have a large variety of donated items that are sold at a low price. I always find useful things for projects around my home and for future projects that I didn’t know that I needed to work on. Today’s cart is filled with books, hedge trimmers, and wicker baskets. If they don’t have it today they might next month. They have furniture, painting supplies, and an assortment of old odds and ends. (Tools etc).

I’m not a fan of their bait and switch Facebook page. They sell vintage records and they posted a Switched On Bach vinyl on their page a while back, with a dazzling post. I was so excited to see that record because it reminded me of my childhood. I popped by their shop and asked about the record and they told me they weren’t selling it.

Today was the last straw. Again, they do a cute post with a graphic rug. I go in, imagining it in either my home or my daughter’s home. I went in the store, saw the rug, and asked how much. “Oh, it’s not for sale. You’re not the first person to think that.”

WHYYYYYY make a post if you’re not selling it??!!!!

I wasn't overly impressed with the store. If I was looking for hinges and door hardware, then maybe I'd be in the right place, but all in all it was like a rough looking junk store. The one thing that I thought was super cool was the paint there called Recolor. Seems like it's a neat way to reuse paint and reduce the amount going into the landfill.

Tried to donate brand new high quality furniture, had a scheduled time, confirmed the appointment the morning of. They decided my donation and time were not important. I had a 7 hour drive ahead of me and made it clear multiple times that schedule was important.

When I called the manager could not have cared less. Made it clear my time was not important to them.

Find a different organization to donate to.

Friendly staff, great prices. The facility seems very large and perhaps the shop area could be expanded to accommodate more donations. I visit often as they offer vintage stuff at affordable prices. Paint is way cheaper than at hardware stores. Update: please receive my sympathy for the passing of J. Carter, best Republican president ever

I have bought used doors and furniture here. Also, I have gotten paint.

It's a great place to drop by if you are working on a house. It could save you a lot of money compared to Lowes.

This is a nice little store. It doesn't have a whole lot, but it's nice. I didn't take a picture, but they have two Ethan Allen Mickey Mouse coat shelves.

You'll find almost everything here: Quality used furniture, door knobs, lighting fixtures, books, CD's and even VHS tapes. I asked an employee for a dolly to transport a file cabinet to my car, and he did me one better, and carried it to my car. All proceeds go to Lynchburg Habitat for Humanity. If you have old furniture don't place it on the curb, bring it to the Restore store.

Pricing questions
1. What is the average roof replacement cost for a residential home?
+-

Service questions
1. Should I stay home during roof replacement?

It's not necessary to stay home during roof replacement. Roofing work is noisy and can cause vibrations inside the house, which might be uncomfortable. Most homeowners choose to leave during major parts of the project, but our team ensures safety and keeps you updated, whether you're home or not.

2. How long does roof replacement take?
+-

The timeline for a roof replacement typically ranges from one to three days, depending on the size and complexity of the roof, weather conditions, and material type. Larger or more intricate roofs may take a bit longer, but we always aim for efficient, timely completion.

3. How to hire a roofing contractor?
+-

To hire a roofing contractor, start by researching local companies with good reviews and proper licensing. Request quotes from multiple contractors, verify their insurance and certifications, and ask for references. Always ensure you get a written contract that outlines the scope of work, timeline, and payment terms.

4. How to check if a roofing company is legit?
+-

Check if a roofing company is legit by verifying their business license, insurance, and local certifications. Look for memberships in professional associations, read customer reviews, and ask for recent project references. A legitimate company will be transparent and provide all documentation upon request.

5. How to choose a roofing company?
+-

When choosing a roofing company, consider their experience, customer reviews, warranty offerings, and quality of materials. Make sure they provide clear communication, detailed estimates, and a solid portfolio of completed projects. Local expertise is also a major advantage for understanding regional roofing needs.

6. How do you know if your roofing contractor is ripping you off?
+-

Warning signs that your roofing contractor might be ripping you off include vague contracts, pressure to pay large upfront deposits, lack of proper documentation, and unexplained price increases. Always ask for itemized estimates and written guarantees, and avoid contractors who avoid answering your questions directly.
