1. Project is less than 2 years old from completion
2. I never stated it was refreshing to have a company that truly cares about customer service, going the extra mile, or any of the other comments made. If a homeowner has to continually watch a project, and call the GC during installation due to ongoing installation issues they would not make those comments.
3. My understanding from the day the manufacturer came out was they would not warranty the roof as originally installed. Due to overhang and poor tar paper installation requiring the "upgraded" ice and water shield fix. I thought I was very fair allowing you to remove a perimeter section of the shingles and make repairs. watching you separate the sealed tabs on the singles gave me concern.
4. Gutter guard had to be replaced due to the extremely poor first installation.
5. Sub-Contractor workmanship, professionalism, were poor. Communication impossible as none of them spoke English. Working on my roof after dark with headlamps, finding improper things the next morning in my yard gave me concerns as to OSHA safety, as well as the late evening noise very inconvenient for myself and neighbors.

I consider this issue closed but can provide photos taken at time of installation as needed to confirm.

Lucas Construction is great. Spoke with many of the team members and each one was always knowledgeable and quick to answer. I worked with Dylan specifically on my roof and he made the entire process simple. He worked with my adjuster one on one and it took myself out of the process. Dylan is also very honest, you can tell he is not trying to sell you something you don't need. Highly recommend ANYONE looking to get a roof, call Lucas Construction.

Lucas construction really helped us out after the recent storms. They sent Ryan out this evening to repair our roof after calling them this afternoon. This is the second time we have used them, and will certainly use them again should we have any roofing needs.

Lucas construction is very reliable. He came out on a Saturday to fix some wind damage we had, we were thinking we would probably have to have a tarp put on our roof until they could fit us it to fix it. He fix it right then and was fast and reasonably priced. Thank you Lucas

dylan anderson has been out here 2 times for shingle issues with wind. very friendly and competent. quick and detailed in work and explanations of status of roof and possible issues. Having used lucas twice I would call again if I need any service.

We had damage to our roof which was causing a leak in one of our rooms. We reached out to Lucas construction and received a prompt response, quick estimate, and overall fantastic service. They were extremely communicative throughout the entire process. They came out and fixed our issue in one day. Highly recommend.

David was great in preparing the paperwork needed in order to comply with insurance, estimates, documentation etc. It was definitely not an easy process dealing with insurance but Dylan was with me thru the entire process and I cannot thank him enough! Lucas Construction has been great to deal with and I always felt taken care of, great communication, quality repairs, respectful and just overall awesome!! The entire process has taken us 9 months and Dylan is probably glad to see this project over ha ha but I will miss chatting with him. Lucas Construction did an excellent job replacing my roof, siding and gutters, after the bad hail storm this past Spring. Dylan Anderson, and his crew were very professional, reliable and polite. I live in Wentzville and had Lucas Construction come out and check for damage after the hail storm. Lucas and Dylan both came over and looked at my roof. They saved me from filing an insurance claim that wasn’t needed. I appreciate their honesty and they were super professional.

They didn't have to do it, but they did. Ian came to my home to evaluate the hail storm that hit our home. We had no significant damage and he didn't have to, but he patched a vent just out of courtesy, what a company! Don't even think twice call these guys!!

We had significant hail damage to our house, as did many in Wentzville. We contacted Lucas Construction due to the reviews and quality of his work. They walked us through the cumbersome process of dealing with our insurance company, and helped maximize our claim. The work performed on our roof, siding, and window was outstanding. Lucas Construction has been with us since the hail damage, and I HIGHLY recommend his services.

They responded quick when we reached out and got our roof fixed super fast. They were professional and didn’t waste my time trying to upsell anything. They were also very affordable.

I had some shingles blow off the ridge vent. I tried calling the company that installed the roof (allied construction). After 3 day I never got a call back. Another company came, looked at the damage and handed me an estimate for repairs for $1700 saying I needed the entire ridge vent replaced. Then Lucas Stewart from Lucas Construction came and saved the day. Using the shingles that blew off he repaired my roof to perfection!!. Lucas was also perfect in every way. Blown away by the hospitality and general care that LUCAS construction portrays to its consumers. I needed a miracle today and they made it happen. Although this isn’t their expertise, they were very willing to help without hesitation; my cat was chased up a tree about 30ft and would not come down even after being left over night. I am aware that cats will eventually come down however the dilemma was my sister just happened to be getting married and we were leaving the state for a week so I couldn’t just leave him. I contacted non emergency fire, police, animal control, lineman and construction companies with absolutely no success. On about my 25th phone call I was greeted by a wonderful employee (Brooke), I explained the situation and stated I am just trying to exhaust all options. Without the blink of an eye LUCAS construction offered to send out an employee with a ladder at no charge and we successfully got my cat down just as it was about to storm. Not to mention they showed up early and drove from o Fallon to Wentzville as if it was no big deal. I can’t explain the gratitude I have. Thank you so much for the friendly service and willingness to help.

I had the pleasure of working with Ian. After receiving way too many phone calls from different storm chasing roofing companies, I decided to have a local company come out to take a look for possible hail damage. Ian was very prompt and honest. He let me know that the roof was in good condition and that his services weren't needed at this time. This company was fantastic! Ian was extremely professional and polite. We had severe hail damage on the side of our house. Lucas Construction replaced the damage with vinyl siding and did a great job. From quote to completion, Ian was great. The price was more than fair and the project was completed in 1 day. It is always nice to deal with a local business that does what they say. If you need exterior work, I highly recommend. I included before and after photos, which speak to the quality of their work.

Oct 16 2023- The review below was when I worked directly with Lucas but this review is from my experience after a recent hail storm where several neighbors require new roofs. This time I only worked with Harry and Brooke. Harry came out the week before last and jumped on the roof. He confirmed we needed a new roof, siding, gutters and downspouts. He didn’t mention that 8 feet of roof cap was missing and water has been and would continue to pour into our house. The adjuster found it. The issue was on the opposite side of the house he climbed up on. I reached out to Lucas Construction and spoke with Brooke asking for a list of the findings and for a representative to come out with the adjuster. It was never sent but she said she’d send it. She agreed to send someone out at that time and no one showed up. I called, texted and left a message, no response. I think they’re great to work with when they’re isn’t a lot of work but when they’re busy the field service, customer service, project management and responsiveness is not the best. I was really looking forward to having an experience like my first but unfortunately that was not the case.

Lucas was a life saver. I’ve got Statefarm insurance and they were pretty neglectful in protecting our home. There was a 6 foot opening in our roof that they missed because they never came inside to inspect. He saw the issue right away, gave me quote for the repairs and was gone in 40 minutes. Life saver I tell you!

Lucas Construction was great! Very easy to work work with - fast response time. We contacted him and had a response and quote within 24 hours, had it scheduled within 5 days and they finished it all in a day. Everything was efficient and the quality was fantastic. They cleaned up and came by afterwards to ensure we were happy with the result!
Not to mention, they were the lowest bid we had.

Lucas was at my home within 45 minutes of contacting him for what I thought was a missing shingle. It turned out that the wind had just flipped it over. He was able to fix it on the spot and gave me a roof inspection while he was up there. I would highly recommend this honest company if you need roofing work done.

We had a great experience with our roof and gutter replacement by LUCAS Construction. They provided us with a great bid and explained everything that was included. We were able to get on their schedule quickly and everything was completed within a little over a week due to weather. Payment was remitted when work was completed. Highly recommend Lucas Construction. He walked me though everything and took the time to answer any questions I had. He made sure I knew everything there was to know about the process and the roof including the little upgrades he can offer! The roof looks absolutely great. Lucas Construction replaced a 24 year old roof. They showed up and worked late to get it done. It was scheduled earlier then I expected during early March, due to a break in the winter weather. Lucas kept me informed of the process of materials getting ordered then delivered to my house. The team that installed the roof were very professional and worked quickly. They cleaned up the are very well after the job was done. I will be using Lucas Construction for future jobs.

Called Lucas Construction to have them install gutters on my house. Despite my house being out of range he still got a crew to come out within a couple days and install gutters and at a great rate. Very professional and respectful company, would highly recommend!
