Lubash Exteriors

Our experience with Lubash Exteriors was nothing short of terrible. They began demo on our back porch/siding in March. The concrete pad was poured without issue (sub-ed out) but immediately after that we began to see red flags. We had issues getting updates/hearing back from the individual we were dealing directly with, after a couple of weeks Mr.Lubash reached out stating that person no longer working for the company and he would be handling our project directly. The slight reassure we felt at that time was short lived when we ran into issues with permitting. Mr.Lubash had no idea what was required by the permitting office in our borough. We needed to get architectural drawings and a survey of our property, which he was completely oblivious to. After they started work there were more red flags. Mr.Lubash and his team would work for an hour or two and then disappear. The one member of his crew also appeared to be under the influence of something when he was here, on multiple occasions. At the beginning of June, Lubash Exteriors failed the framing inspection. They not only notched our side LVL beams and failed to install them correctly, they also left the center ridge beam completely unsecured-essentially being held up by the rafters. The Inspector placed a stop work order and required them to meet with a structural engineer. After nearly two weeks of waiting Mr.Lubash was unable to produce an engineer and had the audacity to tell me to call and find one. We ceased our relationship with Lubash Exteriors on June 14th. On June 19th Mr.Lubash showed up to gather his equipment, still insisting he did not do anything wrong. Mr.Lubash collected his equipment and left all of the garbage from the project in my yard and then ignored my requests for him to come remove the trash. Additionally, Lubash Exteriors was supposed to replaced our back siding, which was also done very poorly. Overall I would say that Lubash Exteriors are a sloppy company. They pay no attention to detail and lack true craftmanship. We were informed by our borough inspector that he failed to respond to the citation that they sent him. Apparently this is his MO because there were multiple citations/warrants out on his company. Save yourself the aggravation and DO NOT hire this company.

James and his crew were great. We recently reached out for his help in replacing my grandpa's roof. James was quick to respond and answer all my questions. I had the propsal back we picked out a shingle color and his crew began work the same week. The work looks great and the crew did a great job cleaning up after themselves each day. I have already inquired for his help on other projects and would glady recommend him to anyone looking for roof,deck, porch roof.

Lubash Exteriors did a great job on our siding. They were great, quick, professional and detailed and affordable. We had them correct instillation errors form a previous contractor. They did a great job preserving as much of the original materials as possible. I take comfort in knowing that my siding will no longer be blowing off my house.
