We had Lawrence and his crew in to help completely remodel two of our bathrooms, including taking out a wall and increasing the size of the master bath. Everyone we dealt with at L&R was extremely professional and ensured the job was done right! They provided us with a timeline and stuck to it, which is definitely not to be underestimated when dealing with construction projects. New roof shingles and underlayment: It has been eight months since L&R Contractors replaced my roof shingles and I am still satisfied with everything. Looks great, no leaks, no problems or concerns. It took a day and a half and Zach addressed every obstacle and concern that arose. Zach visited several times while the work was underway, spent valuable time on site overseeing the work, talking with me, addressing my questions, explaining the process, communicating with the foreman, etc. I’m detail-oriented and contractors sometimes get put off by my questions or concerns but Zach and his foreman, Darwin, answered and addressed all my questions and concerns without frustration or irritation. What others may consider "being picky" these guys handled with ease. Darwin went above and beyond and even fixed a crooked part on the roof that I had been living with for 20 years installed that way from the home builder. I found out about L&R believe it or not by a knock at the door from Vic. After 20 years of living here, that is the first time an unsolicited knock at the door resulted in something good. We had storms come through prior so Vic came through the neighborhood offering L&R to work with insurance companies to assess damage and handle covered repairs. Vic helped with the claim submission process and Zach inspected the roof and worked with the insurance company. Extremely smooth and the final result looks great. Zach and Vic are both great conversationalists and both answered all my concerns without the irritation I sense from other contractors over the years.

We’ve had a fantastic experience working with Lawrence and his crew on our powder and laundry room remodel. Lawrence has exceptional work ethic and his crew is equally professional and hard working. Lawrence’s estimates are accurate and he personally makes sure each day that the project is on schedule and on budget. He is responsive and honest. The crew arrived on time and were very efficient and courteous. I especially appreciate how they cleaned as they went, and they did a fantastic job of the final cleaning when the job was done. My back patio actually looked better after they were done! I highly recommend Zach and his team.

We hired L&R to finish our low-ceiling basement and movie theater. The quality of their work is amazing, and they finished the entire project in about 3-4 weeks. Attention to detail and finishing looks incredible. Always willing to incorporate our feedback, and even helped install wiring for surround sound and projector. Also did an incredible job cleaning up messy ceiling wires/pipes so that we maximized ceiling height. Will work with them again soon on our kitchen and bathrooms.

They did a great job inspecting and ultimately replacing our roof. We worked with Zack and Vic who were friendly, professional and got the work done as scheduled. I would definitely recommend them!

We were referred to L&R Contractors after the ceiling in a bedroom came down due to a roof leak. We ended up needing a new roof and ceiling and Zack with L&R made the whole process painless. He and his crews were on-time, responsive, and took great care with our house. The roof installation took a day and the dry-wall team had the ceiling repaired two days later. Zack helped with our insurance claim as well and his communication and hands-on approach were great. I have already recommended L&R to neighbors. We're completely satisfied!

This is our second time working with Lawrence and his team. They took on our kitchen renovation which included lots of main floor flooring, stairs, stair rail, linen closet and of course all the kitchen things (electrical, plumbing, appliances, backsplash) + demoing a few walls! They are so detailed, so professional and generally a joy to have around. You can tell each member of the team cares and has their own skill sets. No corners were cut, quite literally when I say they spent extra time perfecting our backsplash. The stair rail processes was amazing to watch as they custom made a replica of my inspo picture. The before and afters speak for themselves! Would absolutely recommend them, quality, communication and price wise.

We had a great experience with Lawrence and his crew. He was upfront and pleasant to deal with through the entire process. He had a small 2 man crew who came every day, with a plumber and electrician coming when needed. All were extremely reliable, timely and very polite while working in our home. They gutted and renovated 2 bathrooms with great results. The whole group made the process as painless as possible, even through the small setbacks that are inevitable when you start opening up walls in a 40 year old house. With 2 very small kids in the house we appreciated that it was the same crew everyday rather than new subs in and out each day. We've highly recommended Lawrence to our neighbors looking to do similar renovations.

Great experience with Lawrence and his team, couldn't recommend enough. Work included: tear down/open two walls (one w/ LVL install), moving electrical main, redoing kitchen (layout change), new hardwood throughout (incl stairs, rail), paint, and a few electrical moves. We have a 1940 house, so I was surprised at how few surprises popped up. We had to make a couple changes and adjust as we went, but I didn't receive a single change order asking for additional $ - which you won't find with contractors very often. They're honest, hard working, and made sure we were happy with the end product. I will absolutely go to them first for any future projects.

I found L&R Contrators on Home Advisor after running a google search for local contractors. They had high ratings and everying seemed to say the same things: They did great work, were on time & Lawrence communicated to them well. I hired L&R to do some framing, insullation, dyrwall & flooring for my basement. They did a fantastic job with everything! It was easy to talk to Lawrence and he kept me updated on where things were at. I spoke with some of the guys thorughout the process and they were all nice. In the end I was very happy I found L&R Contractors and hired them to do the work. Don't look any further, this is the contractor you should hire!!

Fantastic experience. Have already recommended them to three other families. Had them in to do a kitchen backsplash and completely remodel my laundry closet, including taking out the old cabinets and floor, adding a new floor and shelving, installing a recessed overhead light, and stacking the machines. I have included photos of the closet both before and after the work to show how dramatically it changed! For the quality of the work that was done, I was particularly surprised by the reasonable price. Would definitely hire them again!

Right after buying our first home, we needed to remodel our kitchen and bathroom. We contacted 3 remodeling companies and L&R Contractors was the clear way to go. We were on a tight budget and timeline, so it was extremely helpful that Lawrence provided recommendations and walked us through various options, explaining pros/cons and associated costs. Being new to the remodeling process, we had a plethora of questions. Lawrence was always great on answering our questions and providing us updates throughout the process. He made the potentially stressful process easy for us.

Lawrence and the team got the work done on time and on budget, and we are super pleased with the work. The kitchen and bathroom have been great; the level of detail in which they completed the work was excellent.

We would absolutely recommend Lawrence and L&R contractors. We still need to remodel another bathroom and our basement, so of course, we will be returning to L&R Contractors to remodel those for us later on!

L&R Contractors is phenomenal. I needed two of my bathrooms gutted and remodeled. They were always on time, polite, responsive and CLEAN! They also took the time to protect my floors and furniture. They did an incredible job for an extremely fair and reasonable price. If I had ANY issues (and there is only a couple that I can remember) they were taken care of immediately and 100% to my satisfaction.

I had a contractor in several years ago to redo my kitchen and master bath, but Lawrence and his guys went so far above and beyond for work they did for my sister that I had to give them a try. The other contractor was good but took forever to complete the job (months) because he only had one employee. Lawrence and his guys were in and out in under two weeks. I will definitely be bringing them back in to finish my basement at some point in the future. I just cannot recommend them highly enough. You won’t regret hiring them. I promise.

Lawrence and his team just finished remodeling one of my bathrooms. The work is exceptional, and his responsiveness, professionalism, and ability to adapt to the busy schedules of clients are second to none. Lawrence has also completed multiple major projects for my sister. We give him our highest recommendation.

Lawrence was nothing but professional, responsive and timely. After many bad experiences with other contractors performing poor work, going over time lines and throwing out ridiculous numbers while quoting. L&R was a breath of fresh air for this new home owner. We had a unfinished laundry room - transformed from a dark, cold, sad place to a light, bright, functional room. We had an odd space to begin with, random wood panels from the previous owner and no ceiling, or floors. A big thing for us was covering as much of our utilities as possible and they made that a reality.

The team was courteous, communicated well with any questions, and always on time every morning. Our project was quoted for 8 days and everything was done by lunchtime on the 8th day which never happens with home projects. We would absolutely hire this team again and will be hiring again for a kitchen remodel later down the line.

Lawrence and his team have done two major projects in my home since last fall - redesigning a master bathroom and a complete gut job of a kitchen. For the master bath, his team was just great- on time, did impeccable work and their attention to detail was meticolous. For the kitchen, same professionalism, on time and worked diligently to stay on budget and complete on schedule. However, here is what sets Lawrence and his team apart from other contractors, they care about the work they do, and they have the experience and expertise to back it up. We had some "surprises" in the kitchen but that was not problem for Lawrence or his team, they met each challenge with professionalism and were gracious with every question and change I presented them. Lawrence and his team surpassed our expectations. They were professional, detail oriented, timely and great value for money.

Our project consisted of a kitchen renovation for which we used Siematic cabinetry and Miele / SubZero appliances. It involved some major structural changes, such as removing a low bearing wall, moving piping and electrics. L&R were our contractors.

As in any big project, problems arose. Lawrence's team were resourceful, efficient and found solutions to EVERYTHING, even design issues that should have been dealt with by the kitchen company. No drama. We found that those extra jobs we asked them to additionally carry out were done flawlessly and priced at a fair rate.

Lawrence was incredibly responsive and the best communicator we have come across in a renovation project (this is our third kitchen renovation and we have remodeled other properties). His team is reliable, respectful, super clean and pleasant to have around. This mattered because we did not move out during the renovation, and certain hygiene measures had to be taken because of the pandemic. All in all it was a great experience. We would most certainly recommend Lawrence and L&R.

Lawrence and his team have done three projects for us, and we couldn’t be more happy with the work they have done.

The first time around, our basement flooded, and they were able to do all the repair work including laying down new flooring and replacing drywall within a week at a very reasonable price. The second was a minor gutter and roof repair project, and Lawrence’s partner Zack oversaw that project with timely communication and completion at a great price. The third project was a kitchen remodel. Again, very good timeline (three weeks!) and well-priced. Lawrence also guided us through the materials selection and design process and answered our myriad questions with tremendous patience.
