Hired a crane to help me set trusses. On the phone, the crane operator was very friendly and helpful. When he arrived, we had a bit of trouble with the very first truss. Got it worked out OK. That’s when the trouble started, the crane operator walks in the house somehow was not satisfied with some aspects of the framing, and decided he would just leave, without fulfilling the job.

Worse than that, he made derogatory comments to a neighbor and to my girlfriend who were watching, so much that she had an anxiety attack because of his remarks and was extremely distraught for days.

I have been a licensed building contractor since 1984 and have successfully completed more than 200 houses. I have never had an experience with someone hired to operate a crane or any other provider has made derogatory comments and abandoned a job. Very very unprofessional

Don't let the other reviews fool you. Once they have your money they don't care. I bought a few doors for a couple thousand dollars and was having issues with them. I called 4 times and left messages. Vic didn't return my call and the 1st man I talked to was very rude. My mom has spent 10's of thousands of dollars there and she has trouble getting a response!

A true testament to good ol’ fashioned Hometown customer service. LP Adams will not disappoint. As a young laborer I would come here in Porters’ old pickup trucks to get lumber And now returning 20 years later as a Customer and homeowner ,they did not let me down. Had someone from LP’s come out and measure for a custom sized Andersen slider that I purchased. The door came in on time delivered Free without a hassle and even Got hand carried around back to my porch.
