This place is a total scam. Avoid at all costs.
My brother rented a tractor from this craphole. The men running this place?Unprofessional doesn’t even begin to cover it. They rent out junk tractors that barely start, stall constantly, are missing basic things like lights and ultimately break down with issues completely.
They refused to give his money back and even had the audacity to ask him to pay for repairs to the hunk of scrap metal that they never should have been renting out in the first place.

Oh, and they don’t just scam you on the equipment. They also pull shady business deals. They made an agreement to rent it for their weekly prices, took the money, then turned around and claimed the deal never happened. Kept every last cent, even though he only got to use it a day after they made the weekly deal before it broke down.

So unless you want to end up in a legal fight just to get back your money, stay far away from these bufoons.

It's pretty much standard operating procedure at this point. I know virtually nothing about hardware stuff, and all the staff members are great. I seek one out so I don't spend two hours wandering around the store like a witless home improvement ghost.
Needless to say, the entire staff deserves a five star rating. I have bugged multiple people across the last few years and every single person has been kind, caring, and knowledgeable.

They have the nicest cashiers! This store is smaller than a regular Home Depot or Lowes but has a good stock of parts and tools to save you the hour round-trip to Fernley and back. We found our puppy's new favorite toy in the pet section and swamp cooler parts for me lol

Talk about unprofessional, I called and asked two questions regarding hardware, and the woman that answered the phone had very short and snappy responses and was extremely quick to get off the phone by saying “have a good one, bye” before I was even done trying to find the supplies that I needed. How disrespectful

Over the last 20+ years, my family has spent thousands of dollars at this store on hardware, pumps, paint, gifts, doors, animal/bird feed, tools, pressure tanks, lawn care, etc., etc. I am constantly receiving "Reward" cards, generated from all the money we spend there. The last several times I have tried to use these "Rewards" when purchasing the 40 Lb. (and/or 20 Lb.) sacks of bird seed (120 pounds per trip), I'm told they can't accept them because "the price is already discounted as much as possible". WHAT?! We're not talking sale items here; I know the cards are marked "regular priced merchandise" only and that's what these purchases are. Since they DO occasionally have the wild bird seed on sale, then I assume THAT would be the "discounted as much as possible" price! I cannot believe that, after all the business my family and friends have given this store that they are going to quibble over a $5.00 or $6.00 discount on a $70.00+ purchase.
This happened again this morning and it will be the last time. I will not do business with this store again and will advise everyone else I know to take their business elsewhere too. Hopefully someplace where they appreciate their customers. If there was a "Zero" star rating, I would have checked that!

Went into Ace 1/15 to see if I could get a switch panel for my swamp cooler one associate asked me if I needed help an an took me to one dept and one of her associates by the name of Lowell I do believe helped me fix my switch panel so that I didn’t have purchase a whole new one. He helped put the wires in the correct position. That kind of customer service rarely exist nowadays an I will definitely be going back to this store as they were very helpful

The only employee worth anything at this store is the little gal that runs the paint department she is wonderful patient and always helpfull.

Went in for a part for my kitchen faucet. The guy found me a compatible part and our sink is better than ever. I appreciate they open at 7.

GREAT place, but the price of wood? One 4’ piece $27???? I went to Home Depot instead and bought 12’ for $37 to make shelving with, wow.
We need a Home Depot in Fallon!

I don't know how the Propane Exchange systems work but I tried multiple places to buy a full 20 lb. propane tank from the exchange racks. All the Amerigas ones I found in Hawthorne (1 rack) and Fallon (1 rack) were empty. But Ace in Fallon had a Blue Rhino exchange rack that wasn't empty! Even on Labor Day weekend. Whenever I need saving, Ace can be relied on. Thanks!

A great, neighborhood hardware store!! They're short handed, but who isn't? The employees they have are courteous and helpful! There's also a rental yard attached with the store. If you need help, just ask them!

Absolutely amazing service, was extraordinary helpful when it came to getting the parts I need . They went as far as letting me use tjere back shop to fix my project and back lot to stay in the shade

They have mostly everything I needed. I did not want to drive 30min to Lows in fernley. Ace in fallon is overpriced on everything. I needed 6- 1/2 sheetrock 4'x8' they only had 5. I was kinda bummed and asked when the next shipment will be here. Clerks answer. In the morning we get it from Kent's. So instead of waiting I went to Kent's for the last sheet. I still find myself going due to the fact it's a nice store with huge selection. Kent's is limited to what they carry inside the store due to space issues. I'll make the time to go to lows in Fernley from now on. except for emergency situations in construction or plumbing scenarios. The customer service however is 100% I give their staff 5 out of 5.

Louie's ACE is the place to go for almost every household, garden, and repair items you need. Shop local and check here before driving to a warehouse store. It is all so the place to go for BBQ needs.

The employees are always really nice and help you with whatever your working on, and the rental service they offer is a awesome place to rent whatever u need.

The picture shown here makes it look clean but it's so dusty in there lol they have a wide variety, though, so we don't mind. We've found rv supplies here that we had trouble locating elsewhere.

It's one of the best places in town to get what you need to get the job done.
They have got fast and friendly service and I even got my window screens rescreened.

Great customer service, lots of options for your home/work needs however my concern is that places in small towns like this gouge prices due to lack of other options for customers which seems to take advantage of the community. I will only go there in emergent situations and travel to lowes in Fernley, who also offer a military discount for most of my needs. But if your in a pinch and don't mind paying high prices, then they definitely have what you need with a smile on their face.

Ran in 15 mins b4 close and they were polite, prompt, and knowledgeable. The 2 associates directly found my items, allowed me to chose, and still out the door in 10 mins. Have always love this store!

I was treated so poorly in our Fallon Ace Hardware store today that I don't plan on returning. I was picking up some things for work around our home and asked Ken where I could find a particular item. Ken proceeded to tell me that I didn't need that item. As I told him that the item was a special request from my husband, Ken proceeded to raise his voice at me and tell me any glue would work. As I walked away he followed me but never showed me where tell item I neded was. He followed me and never did show me where the item was.
