Level Up Improvement

Had an excellent experience with level up. Had a new roof installed on the house and garage. The experience from quoting through completion was very smooth and easy and they helped me get exactly what I wanted from the color choice to the material selection. I had a few small tweaks. I wanted after completion based on personal preference and they were very responsive and addressed my concerns immediately would definitely recommend for anyone looking for an excellent company that takes care of their customers.

The crew came out and got it done in one afternoon. Walked us through what they found and what they were going to do and the final product was perfect! Wouldn’t recommend anyone else!

We were looking for new gutters, possibly oversized gutters. After talking with Brandon and “not” getting the power point presentation on why the cost is so high and how everyone else’s products are inferior. Brandon gave us the install price, one and done. Mikes crew came out, very professional and nice. Removed our old gutters without damaging any landscaping, installed the new 6” gutters, we discussed the locations of the down spouts.
What a positive experience, Mikes crew left our landscaping nicer than they found it and our oversized gutters look great!!! Mike said these gutters look like crown moulding on the exterior of your house, he wasn’t pulling my leg, they really do. Thanks again to Level Up Improvements, a great experience and great job!!

Really enjoyed working with Level Up Improvement for replacement of our 1980s sliding glass door. They were so easy to work with, great communication on timeline for delivery and installation, and half of price of all other quotes we got from window companies. I highly recommend using them for your next home improvement project!

I recently had concerns that my roof might need replacing. Alvin came out and performed a full inspection, and advised me that it was good for another 2 to 5 years. He even repaired a couple loose shingles while he was up there. Alvin could have sold me a new roof, but he was honest and up front regarding the need for immediate repair! How refreshing to work with an honest contractor!! I'll be calling him soon for my other house! I highly recommend Level Up!

Alvin was here promptly as scheduled and was pleasant, accommodating, and very reasonably priced. Not only did he repair the soffit in the rain on our high colonial, but rescued a momma squirrel and her babies that had decided to make their home in our roof soffit. Alvin is a beautiful soul and we give him our highest recommendations. If only the world had more people like Alvin.

We had Level Up add cellulose insulation to our attic and spray foam our basement rim joists. We knew our home was fairly inefficient and leaky when we bought it a few years prior, and after getting bids from several companies, we picked Level Up.

Their cost was competitive, but what I most appreciated was their organization. They use an online system to track the project that easily can send updated scope-of-work documents and estimates, so there's no confusion or surprises about the job. And our project manager was very easy to get a hold of (shout out to Brandon!).

Their work met my expectations, and even though they missed one small part of the job, they made sure to keep me informed about their plan to make things right. I don't dock them any points for the miss - we're all human - and they've since come back out to address it.

TLDR: Competitive pricing, very organized, and easy to get a hold of. Would definitely use again.

Brandon was patient and helpful, while I spent time trying to work with finding an insurance agent. The team that supported Level Up also provided the same level of service for the interior work on my home. The project manager Joe worked hard on negotiating with the newly assigned agents, and helped plan the work at my house. Level Up came to do the roof in a single day! Every step was communicated and Brandon was transparent and helpful whenever something had changed. He was flexible with options and how we could accomplish the work through this whole process.

Level up did a great job on our roofing and siding. The crews were polite and respectful and the owner, Brandon, went above and beyond, especially helping me deal with the insurance company.

Excellent service from initial meeting to end of the job! Fair price for great work. Roof, gutters and roof insulation job. Communication was on time. Level Up came out within a few days to give me a competitive quote on a siding job without trying to oversell me on anything – in fact, Sam made the best design recommendation (to add texture to house) that we’ve now been getting tons of compliments on. Level Up Improvement was great to work with. They came out right away after a neighbor’s tree fell on the roof and tarped our garage so it was covered while we were dealing with the insurance company. Sam and Brandon provided an extra level of support by showing up for the insurance adjuster too and holding our hand through the irritating, confusing process with the instance company and lender. Even more importantly, they were able to find the most economical way of fixing our problem so that it was done right without overspending. Easy to work with, timely, cleaned up their worksite, and did the work as promised! What more could you want?

After getting 3 bids for our roofing and siding project we decided to go with Level Up Improvement. It was the best decision we’ve made! From the first call to the final touches it was a smooth process. When Sam came out to give an estimate he went on the roof to put roof caulking in potential problem areas that could be causing the leak that we were having to help us get by. He spent more time than the other companies we called and was the only one to go on the roof. He made sure he had everything he needed to give us a great estimate for the roof and siding on the house and garage. After several days of deciding the route we wanted to go we chose to go with Level Up Improvement. Brandon came out for the pre-inspection to make sure everyone was on the same page and was excited to get started on the transformation. The roofing crew and the siding crew were both fantastic. Working with Brandon was a great experience. He arrived right on time, took a thorough look at our roof, patched up some spots that were causing us problems and gave us a really fair quote on the actual replacement. I had a leak in my roof, Sam came over and inspected my attic for me and figured out where the water was coming in from. He hopped on the roof to figure out why and then addressed the issue. The previous roofers didn’t nail down the can vents! Sam fixed it for no charge.He is extremely knowledgeable and when it comes time to put a new roof on I will definitely be Leveling Up! Level Up recently installed 45 Polar Seal “Royal Seal” vinyl windows in my home, along with a new Therma-Tru fiberglass front door and sidelights. Everything from the initial information request through the installation and final inspection went extremely well. The installation team was very diligent and took care to install the windows properly. They worked on the window installation for roughly 4 full days, took care to cover and protect the work areas inside and outside of the home, and cleaned up at the end of each workday. The installers were also very polite, respectful, friendly, and addressed any questions I had regarding the installation along the way. The door and sidelight installation occurred the following week, took about a ½ day, and the installation crew was great to work with as well. The owner, Brandon, checked in on multiple occasions during the installation process to ensure everything was going as planned and to make sure I was happy with the product and work performed. He was also very knowledgeable about the particulars of the Polar Seal windows that were installed (e.g., manufacturing process, thermal properties, cost/benefit, etc.). Another highlight was that there was no sales pressure, pricing gimmicks, or haggling involved in the quoting process. I also like that I was able to support two Michigan-based companies (Level Up, based in Dearborn, and Polar Seal, based in Grand Rapids). Overall great job, and I would recommend both Level Up and Polar Seal for anyone considering replacement windows and doors.

Brandon and Miguel recently installed my insulation for my attic and existing walls. The process was very timely, clean and thorough. They kept me informed through each step which I greatly appreciated. Definitely would recommend using them for your home improvement needs.

I had Level Up come out to give me a estimate for insulation. They used a FLIR camera to check where my cold spots were. They also checked for moisture in the walls. Too my surprise they told me my house was well insulated and found no moisture. Level up did not try to tell me something I didn't need. They were extremely honest and extremely nice people. We had a complicated side door project. A super small one compared to a standard size. They managed to find us a cheap option compared to other companies, got us what we wanted without major compromises, and worked quickly once the door was manufactured. Installation was prompt, swift, and looks fantastic. We are super happy and it comes with lifetime warranty?? Excellent service.

I have been trying to get a company to look at my attic for over a year. My skylight was leaking and one very cold winter, I had water running down my walls. I also had a problem with ice jams. All of the contractors I contacted either did not show up, or quoted and ghosted me. You wouldn't think it would be so hard giving someone a job!
I saw reviews for LEVEL UP INPROVEMENT on the Next Door App and FB and decided to give Brandon a call. Boy, am I glad I did! I live in Livingston County, and this was not listed in his service area so I was not sure if he could help me, however he came out the next day to look at my attic. He was very knowledgeable, knew exactly what needed to be done, and provided a fair quote THAT SAME DAY!
His insulation installer, Miguel arrived the following Monday to do the insulation. Miguel was very informative and kept me informed of everything he had done. Installing Baffles, Wrapping the walls around the skylight with insulation, blowing in cellulose insulation and treating some mold that had started around the skylight. He was kind, respectful of my home, and cleaned everything when he had completed the job. Brandon came over the following day to install the new skylight window replacement. He did a great job and followed up by informing me of the Energy Rebate I could apply for online.
