Les' Quality Roofing

I hired Les Roberts to repair water damage to my house caused by an ice dam and to tear down and replace the damaged roof. I advanced him a substantial sum of money for this job. He procrastinated all summer and barely started on the roof replacement when (late October) he said he would not be able to finish the job that year and it would have to wait until the following year to complete it. He left with half of my roof exposed and the damaged area not repaired. He kept the money I advanced him and did not pay for roofing materials or replacement door. I hired another company to finish the job and which I paid for out-of-pocket. I since found out they there have been numerous complaints about him.

Contracted with Les's about a year ago to fix leaks in my hangar's roof. I paid the full amount for the job in advance. They started the job (last fall) but then stopped stating that the weather made it impossible to do the job until the following spring. Now it's fall again and snow is falling. Roof still leaks and their equipment is standing against my building like it has been for the last year. Hard to give someone a good recommendation that hasn't finished the job after a year.

Update 2: Never finished the job. Left a visible hole in the roof.

Agreed to the job, took the money, didn't do the job!! Horrible experience. Several state complaints against this company. I have read your response and would add that the project was not put on hold other than not being able to reach your company and lacking funds after giving you agreed upon funds that were never applied to the job or returned if you couldn't/wouldn't do the job! Untrustworthy policies and practices.
