There were delays due to rain and limitations on local labor. This isn't just a LeakMaster issue as I'm seeing this across the board on most home improvement projects as well as some of what my neighbors are experiencing with other companies. If you get a timeframe estimate and it has been raining or is during the rainy season, easily add 1 to 2 months on top of an estimated time frame. Overall they did a great job. Jeff gave a professional estimate and explained what he thought was the best plan of action with options. He is trustworthy and experienced. During the execution of the roof tear up and application, it was quick, and done with a smile. They treated us all with great respect, care, and aloha. I have had the roof done for a month and no leaks. They also helped with tiny patches on other parts of our roof that weren't involved in the project which I am highly grateful for. The only small complaint is that we had an old school flat roof with rocks and tear up required power washing which basically spread those tiny rocks all over the back yard. They did rake the yard very well, but that stuff ended up in just about every crevice. From a whole package standpoint, they are a great roofing company to go with and I would definitely call them again.

I got a couple of quotes for our roof repair and LeakMaster was the most reasonable. I also thought they were very professional and got everything done on a timely fashion. When the shingles were out of stock on the island they worked hard to try to match our color with inventory in the state. Eventually they got the right match and we didn't have to wait a long time. It has rained hard a few times since the repair and there have been no leaks since. We will definitely use them again if we have trouble again, we highly recommend them!

In March 2018 had extensive paint job of patio metal poles; CMU walls; deck railings and floor; house railings; 3 exterior doors; 3 porch/stairs/railings; metal awning. Given 5 year warranty.
They never rust treated the metal awning supports and just painted over the rusted portion with Nutech NXT wall coating. They were told about it but never corrected it. In January 2019 (10 months after work completed), found bubbling on deck flooring. They cut the bubbles and repainted areas with the Nutech rubber lining deck coating. They also noticed wood rot starting on part of the wheelchair ramp; which they replaced the damaged plywood and painted with the Nutech rubber lining deck coating. Fast forward to Spring 2022, about 4 years later. Noted the NuTech NXT wall coating peeling off the walls of the deck ramp, support posts, and gate that were exposed to to UV and moisture. June 2022 noted soft spots on wheelchair ramp along the plywood seams. Further investigation revealed wood rot at every seam of the plywood flooring, at some of the plywood-post joints, on several posts. There was also wood rot in 2 ledger/fascia boards; several places on the ledges of the ramp walls; and where the ramp floor abutted with the porch floor boards.
When Jeff from LeakMaster came to assess the damage, he came with a negative attitude with a condescending tone of voice telling me the wood rot is normal where the seams are. He also stated that the wood rot was already present when they did the paint job! I bit my tongue, thinking, "OMG, your company will paint over damaged wood and not let the owner know? You are a roofing company! Will never let you do my roof!" LeakMaster took no responsibility for the wood rot damage. Since, every painter and contractor giving me an estimate to repair the wood rot asked me why LeakMaster did not reinforce/seal/caulk all the seams and transition points where the deck floor and posts meet, etc? You think that a waterproofing and roofing company would know better.
I must say that the NuTech rubber liner adhered to the walk surfaces; and that the NuTech NXT paint adhered to the metal surfaces, CMU walls, and wood that were not exposed to much UV light. The NuTech NXT wall coating did not do well where wood is exposed to Hawaii weather: wind, rain, and UV light.
I would still used the NuTech rubber liner but will not use LeakMaster. The only prep they will do is power wash. They will not do any caulking, reinforcing, or sealing. What they do not understand is that the paint job is only as good as the prep work.

My Monier Tile roof needed cleaning and recoating. The work began on a Thursday and completed by Wednesday of the following week. No work on Saturday and Sunday. The roof looks awesome, like new.

Called Leakmaster to repair leaking hood for venting cooking smoke. They did a great job and gave me confidence in their work as they offered one year warranty. I would use them again. I only have one issue is that they are so busy I did not get my job worked on for 2 months after I paid the deposit. And they don't call you back to schedule the work, I had to call about 5 times before I got a schedule to do the job. Otherwise can't complain once they started and finished the job.

We are a 107 year old temple in the middle of Honolulu, the team at Leakmaster has been doing jobs for us for the last 15 years. Nothing left to be said except we trust our repairs to them.

I had some edge roof tiles fall off in the recent storm on Oahu North Shore. I called Ty and he got his crew right to work on the repair including having to go to a used tile location (ours are no longer made), then prep them, paint them and get them on. They were fast and professional!

Great company, great people. From start to finish very helpful. Jeff is great very detailed and informative about all the products they provide. Very honest, if he doesn't know the answer he will say so and find out. Same goes for staff at shop, any question they can't answer right away they will say so and get the info to you. The install crews were very professional and attentive to spillage and clean up. The crew boss "Earl" very friendly and helpful about what they were doing on that day and what to expect(dry times, how many coats, etc). Had 1 challenge while applying coating to part of the roof, some of my PV panels were sprinkled with coating, probably due to wind on that day. Normally they remove the panels before but due to weather on the day scheduled, the contractor hired could not and weren't coming back for another few days. So instead of holding up the job, they decided to do part of the roof with no panels and finish up once the panels could be removed. Once Jeff was made aware of it, he apologized and said he would have someone come by to clean them. They came out a few days later at no charge. Would highly recommend them.

Leakmaster replaced a damaged portion of my carport and covered the roof of it with their silicone sealant. However a the area where the carport roof tied into the house roof developed a leak. They came back and covered the house roof that met the carport roof at no charge. They did a good job and have an excellent warranty. They have great customer service and go the extra mile to satisfy their customers. They even gave me some leftover to patch a leak that was caused by a contractor that put a screw through the roof. You don’t find many businesses that will do that for you. The owner does his best to make the customer happy. Fantastic company!

We had our roof done in 2013. After which there were chillers installed. 5 years later there were some issues and there was a leak that was created. Between all the rain we had Ty came out to check my roof and I had some luck. There was a technician to patch my roof before the next rain hit! Love these guys. They have alway been professional, courteous, and caring.

My roof got damaged in the bad winds two weeks ago and I was scrambling to have someone do emergency maintenance after another roofing company flaked on me and heavy rains had started feeling through our roof and ceilings. I called Joanne thinking it was a long shot to have same day service, but she was helpful, understanding and scheduled the Leak Masters crew to come that day! Micah and his crew were professional and fixed the problem. Hopefully no more leaks in the future but I know who ill call if there are. Really appreciate the team's fast and reliable service, professionalism and fair rates. Thank you!

Where do I start? First of all, the patience that we received from Ty was so helpful. I had reached out to Leakmaster about a year ago. I had always seen the spiffy vans and trucks all over town. To me that’s the best advertising! Ty was fun to get to know. He is patient and kind and helpful. We have a monire tile roof. We had a lot of cracked tiles which they were able to replace. The color we picked adds sass to our house! The crew was enjoyable to work with! They don’t candy coat anything! These guys work hard out in the sun all day! If there was a problem they fixed it with skill and ease. Mahalo Ty and the whole Leakmaster crew!
