I recently had the roof of my ADU damaged beyond repair by the Dec 2024 wind storms. I contacted Larry Haight Roofing and they gave me a quote and got the replacement scheduled quickly. On the day or the replacement I left for work before 8, when I returned at 6 the work had been completed. Brand new beautiful roof with proper vents and flashing. Everything was cleaned up and other than the new roof no sign they had even been there Great work and a great solution. 100% satisfied.

I chose Larry Haight's Residential Roofing for my 20-year house roof replacement project this fall, based on recommendation from a satisfied friend. After obtaining multiple quotes from various roofing companies, I found that while Larry Haight's price wasn't the lowest, their staff's professionalism and responsiveness stood out. The inspector, sales representative, and customer service personnel were all exceptionally helpful, proactive, and responsive.

Randy, in particular, demonstrated remarkable patience and expertise. He thoroughly explained the entire process, educated me on roofing systems, and addressed all my questions with clarity. His approachability and consistent responsiveness were greatly appreciated.

The roofing crew assigned to my project was top-notch, boasting over 15 years of roofing experience. They completed the roof replacement work ahead of schedule, ensuring that everything was clean and neat upon completion. Additionally, I had my gutters and downspouts replaced by their dedicated gutter crew, who also did an excellent job.

Michael Haight, the current owner of the company, personally followed up on surveys and feedback regarding his crew's work. On the same day as a major windstorm in WA in November, I informed him via email about some noise from one of the newly installed downspouts, likely due to the heavy wind. To my surprise, the next morning at 8:30 am, a gutter technician from Larry Haight's arrived at my front door, despite the ongoing storm. He mentioned that many roads were closed due to fallen trees, and it took him 1.5 hours to reach my house, compared to the usual 30 minutes. He examined the downspout and found no issues but still agreed to install additional straps to make it more stable and eliminate any gaps. Since then, I have had no problems with the downspout and have not heard any noise during storms.

Can't say enough great thing about Larry Haight's roofing! We unfortunately came into some serious roofing problems with our very old house and asked for Larry Haight's to help with figuring out what was going on.

They were very thorough, did fantastic workmanship, explained everything as we were going through the process and cleaned up perfectly. Any additional premium in their price is very worth it - it's an extremely important part of the house in Washington and they do it right.

We chose Larry Haight’s Roofing to replace and upgrade our roof to a standing seam metal roof. Of the multiple bids we received, Larry Haight’s stood out in terms of the thoroughness of the bid. Once we selected them, (1) Larry Haight’s willingness and responsiveness in answering our questions; (2) making us aware of issues/options that come up during the work; and (3) working with us to incorporate our input - really all our interactions - impressed us and led to successful outcomes. The office staff were great in keeping us informed on schedule as well as the status of our change orders. In addition, the work team leaders and team members were quite knowledgable, professional, friendly, and efficient. We also got daily updates from the on-site team leaders and follow-up visits after completion that ensured all tasks were completed. Larry Haight put a good roof on my house in 2006 and stood behind it since. This is a brutal region for roofs. Any time water has somehow found its way in, Larry Haight's crews have responded quickly and made lasting repairs at no charge. They may be the only roofer around that stands behind their work so completely. Hire them!

Larry Haight's Roofing reroofed out house in 2001 replacing a Cedar Shake roof that had badly weathered with a 50 year Composition roof product that looks today like it was installed yesterday. We call on Larry whenever we have any roof need so recently, I called to ask if they could help with the large beams that were popular in the 70's that now look to have some deterioration. They came right out and explained that they could remove any rot and repair the beams with epoxy resin and protect the beams with metal caps custom fit to the beams. The now complete job looks great, and the crew led by Chalo that performed the repair we careful to ensure that we were satisfied with the job they did. Once more we are happy we found Larry Haight's Roofing for the excellent service they deliver.

We had our roof replaced recently by Larry Haight Roofing. The work was completed on time with minimal fuss or issues. The installation addressed many details such installing flashing for drip edges, adjusting trim boards to prevent wood rot, penetrations were sealed with "Snow and Ice Shield". These are all items I was concerned about and addressed as a normal installation practice.

They took care to protect anything that could be moved out of the way. They took care in clean up. I think I found one nail after they were done. I recommend them for any roofing project. They have completed multiple projects in the neighborhood.

Why is a single home roofing job taking well over a week? No one arrives to the work sight by the time I leave for work at 8, they are all leaving when I come home at lunch and then I get home from work and there’s pounding, a compressor and yelling until at least 8 at night. They’re a very nice crew, but I just don’t understand the hours. I’ve had a migraine since last Thursday that has warranted a Drs visit and a strong recommendation to go to the ER if it doesn’t lift today.

Roofing company was excellent in all areas of service from the first meeting of salesperson to the last inspection of the job.
Each day the roofers cleared the work area and left the project area cleaned.
All the personnel from the roofers to the project manager were very professional in their job and respectful of our property. The project manager came back daily to monitor our roofing project and clued me in on the progress.
This is a classy company that I would recommend to anyone who is considering a roofing company. The project manager kept me informed daily of any additional costs that may be needed or required as the roof demo was proceeding. From the very 1st meeting for estimation, I felt the connection and desire from Larry Haight Roofing to earn my business compared to the 2 other companies I got estimates from. The entire process was executed flawlessly and I was very impressed with how the roofing crew left every day with all the debris cleaned up and the driveway without the look of a messy project site. Communication was awesome and I was provided daily updates and planned tasks. Happy to say, this was the first totally worry-free project for me, all the kudos to LH roofing company and its crew.

Overall one of the best experiences I have had with what is one of the most daunting home improvement projects one can take on. From sales, office staff, work crew, and ownership, the staff across the board is A+.

We used Larry Haight’s Residential Roofing to replace our end of life torch down roof with a new IB PVC roof. We had received bids from multiple contractors for our job, varying from replacing with TPO or PVC, and the bid from Larry Haight’s was competitive, but we thought that the IB PVC product was just the best material for our 1927 home to last for years to come. Outside of the competitive bid and product, what set Larry Haight’s apart from the others was their old fashioned and professional approach. Mike came out and was very knowledgeable off the bat about what needed to be done on the initial roof inspection. Other companies from this point would just email me their bid, but Larry Haight’s sent George out to explain the bid to us in detail and to answer any questions for us. This was no-pressure, old fashioned, and very much appreciated. When we decided to choose Larry Haight’s, George came out again to go over everything once more.

Upon signing, we then worked with Heidi & Shirley, who were both always there to answer any of our questions and keep us updated around scheduling. From signing to completion took about 5 1/2 months, but that is to be expected during the rainy season and with a flat roof. During this time, we had a minor leak due to some flashing around a chimney, and Larry Haight’s sent someone out the next day to wrap our chimney until they could come out to do our job.

When our job started, the crew showed up on schedule and were ready to go. The crew was also very knowledgeable, professional, and approachable whenever I had questions. They were also very meticulous and would tell me they needed to replace something that I would have never been the wiser. The crew took great care of the property while they were here, and I also noticed that their trucks were also in tip-top shape as well. I never had a doubt that we were in good hands. It ended up raining on the day our project started, and the crew secured everything and came out during the storm the next day to ensure our roof and home were safe. Taking off a roof and having it rain sounds very stressful, but I felt like we were in good hands with this group.

Finally, once the job was complete, Mike came out to do a final inspection, and Michael Haight met with us as well to discuss how our project went. Aside from this roof, we had a small section of tile roofing that also needed attention. Larry Haight’s recommended a contractor who could do this roof for us, and we went with them as well and had the same experience as we had with Larry Haight’s. Others would just say “we don’t do tile roofs” or would opt to replace it with asphalt shingles on a 1927 Spanish Style stucco bungalow…no thanks. All in all, I couldn’t have asked for a better experience during one of the more daunting home improvement projects, and we definitely made the right choice.

I contacted Larry Haights roofing company last year to have them install a new roof on my 350 sq. ft. garage addition. I made a point to contact them in advance of the structure being ready for the roof due to the supply chain problems businesses were still having back then. They had an estimator come and give me an estimate. We agreed that I would let them know about two weeks in advance to schedule the install. There was a slight problem when the roofing material I wanted was not available. That problem was resolved shortly. The crew spent two days on the install and did a very nice job. The only other issue was they installed the wrong color trim that did not match the rest of the roof. I think that was just a miscommunication issue. Once I mentioned it they returned promptly and installed the correct color trim. Very pleased with the finished product. They installed a new roof on the rest of the house about 10 years ago and have had no problems. Very friendly and professional front office staff were a pleasure to work with.

We had a new roof installed the summer of 2020. We interviewed several other roofing companies. They were not the lowest bid, but the reason I chose Larry Haight's was they were the most professional and easy to communicate with. We had 3 skylights replaced and 2 new skylights installed. All work was properly done and pictures taken on each step of installation. We have been delighted with their work and our new roof.

Roofs can be complex projects and they maintained good communication throughout to minimize any surprises. I'm really happy with the new roof. This is a traditional high-quality family owned & operated business.
Larry’s daughter (Heidi) is in-charge of dispatch, Larry’s son-in-law (Randy) does the Sales, and Larry’s son (Michael) does the customer service follow-up. Larry raised his family in south Bellevue, in the Somerset neighborhood.

A traditional family owned business like this simply does not survive for as many years as they have, unless they genuinely care about their customers satisfaction.

BY FAR, the best part of Larry Haight Rooting are the amazingly talented roofing work crews, run by David.
These hard-working & extremely talented young men are trained employees of Larry Haight Roofing (NOT sub contractors).
Each time I spoke to any of the installers, they were always kind, considerate, friendly, and very responsive.

Yes, I’m certain Larry does indeed want to make a decent profit, but it’s so obvious that a satisfied customer is much more important to Larry than having a big fat bank account.

I had contacted Larry Haight's Roofing to check a soft spot on a section of my roof and upon further investigation, the cause of the soft spot was that the roof was "sweating" and the plywood underneath was beginning to deteriorate. We decided to go ahead and have the whole roof replaced. I requested a quote from Michael and received a very fair price. We accepted the quote and asked to be put on their schedule. Though they were quite busy at the time they were able to squeeze us in.

The installation went very smoothly with both Michael and David keeping me updated daily on the progress of the project. The work was done in a very timely and professional manner. They protected the landscaping around our home from any falling debris and cleaned up everything at the end of each shift. Our roof looks amazing. I really appreciate the work that they did for us and would highly recommend them to anyone needing their service.

Larry Haights residential roofing responded in a timely fashion for a repair quote and provided a complete tear off and install quote as well. (All within a week.) They were open and discussed the pros and cons off each and did not pressure me into a decision. They had 3 different product levels and we discussed the benefits of each. Interesting enough they did not recommend the more expensive ones for what we needed and were looking for. Another company who had originally put our roof on and had all the specs and material lists said, “this will be the easiest quote we’ve ever done. “ After 3 emails and 3 phone calls the quote never came.
Talked to someone else in the neighborhood who was having their roof replaced (saw it being worked on ) and they got around 7-10 quotes and they had to play the “game” with several companies. Larry Haights quote was right in the price range of his quotes. I did not want to play that game and waste my time and went with Larry Haights Residential Roofing.
I’m sure glad I did. They use outstanding products, were a few weeks earlier than expected, the guys were timely and worked their tails off, cleaned up after each day and asked if it was ok if they needed to leave some materials out for the next day. They completed the 3200 square foot roof and gutters in 3 days. They took out the roof vents and replaced them with ridge cap venting. It looks great and no vents to worry about leaking again which caused the problem to begin with (6 of 10 had to get replaced and 1 was already leaking.)
I did have a neighbor complain to me because now his wife wants their roof redone.

Be very cautious when you deal with Larry Haights. It is a company that is living on its past laurels. These days they think they are doing you a favor by replacing your roof, which shows in their attitude towards their customers. I went with Larry Haights based on recommendations from my neighbor. It was a big mistake. The whole experience was frustrating and unpredictable despite paying $30k.

There are much nicer and more professional roof replacement companies out there. Please don't make the same mistake I did.

They put a presidential roof on my house.The price was resonable. The sales presentation was phenomenal. George was very educational on all the different kinds of roofs. The workers did an amazing work. They kept area clean and noise to a minimal. Even my neighbors said they were very polite and respectful towards them. They also put up new gutters around. I would refer and use them again.

I was very pleased with the work Larry Haight's Residential Roofing did to re-shingle and repair our roof. From the initial estimate all the way through completion of the work, the experience we had with LHRR was outstanding. I recommend them highly.

If I could give this company no stars I would. I normally don't write reviews but my interaction with this company warrants one. I reached out due to an unusual emergency situation that has me and my three children forced out of our home. The employee who answered the telephone was unhelpful, uncaring, and unwilling to find answers or give a referral, and out and out rude. I have worked in customer service my entire life and felt the owner of the company should know. When I emailed him, Larry Haight, sent me a scathing email back insisting this employee was fantastic at her job and that I was upset just because she would not simply make one effort to provide additional information. He also called me childish. I reached out to another roofing company who also could not help me but sympathized with my situation and eagerly put me into contact with someone who could. Whatever happened to customer service? I would not recommend this company to anyone simply for the way they treat people. Truly appalling. Who wants to give people like this their money

We were happy when Larry Haight did a small roof repair for us about ten years ago. Wish I could say the same about their recent visit. When the gentleman arrived to bid a repair job (replace split shakes) he began sharing how he remembered doing the last repair job “on the leak above the bathroom”. We’ve never had a leak in the roof, a short ridge cap section was loose and moving in the wind. Fair enough.
He then said “well I can’t get up there to do a proper bid, I’ll have see if they want one of the younger guys to RUN AROUND ALL OVER up there, that roof is too steep and it’s wet”. (Yes it’s raining mid May in the PNW, hundreds of homes in our the area with same pitched roof, same builder) I quickly knew where this was going. It’s difficult to get a bid on a cedar shake roof repair, contractors insist the roof needs full replacement, a far more lucrative job.
I explained that we had upgraded (at the suggestion of a Contractor friend) for pressure treated shakes when the house was built. Roof is now 18 years old, has no overhanging trees and was properly and gently cleaned (not pressure washed) 10 years ago. With repair and replacement of split shakes it should conservatively last another 10 years. He laughed -“you’re lucky to get 20 years out of THOSE SHAKES” and “I’ll see if they want to have a young guy go RUN AROUND ALL OVER on THAT roof”.
-I completely understand that with the strength of the Puget Sound housing market Re-roofing is a sellers market right now. Please don’t insult my intelligence and waste my time insisting that the roof is at the end of its life and needs replacement. Just say “we aren’t doing repairs, only replacements”.
(The home next door, same age as ours, without pressure treated shake, recently sold and an inspector for the buyer certified the roof for another 5+ years)

The best roofing contractor. Others are either clueless, dangerous, overpriced or all of the above. When my old torched down roof broke and water destroyed everything inside, I had tons of contractors repairing various things - electrical, hardwood floor, drywall. They were all impressed by the discipline and speed Haight's people worked on the roof.

The best decision I've made this summer was to get rid of my concrete tile roof and replace it with a Northgate composition roof. I got tired of my leaky concrete tile roof which costed thousands just to maintain and replace the tiles! It was so brittle that only a concrete tile roofer knew how to walk on it. The 2nd best decision was choosing Larry Haight's Roofing to do the demolition and install. I was blown away at how efficient, hard-working, and professional the crew was. I have a large roof and the temp was in the 90's. They started everyday around 8am and cleaned up by 7 pm. The job was done in about a week. The supervisor Mike came by every day to check in with me and inspect the work. The roofing supervisor was great in answering all my questions. The gutter guy came right after the roof was completed and took another 3 days to complete. I love my new roof and it looks gorgeous! Anyone can walk on it without worrying about breaking my tiles. The best news is that I won't have to worry about a leaky roof this winter. If anything goes wrong, Larry Haight's Roofing will come out for free to repair it. They weren't the cheapest bid but absolutely the best!

I used Larry Haight's Roofing over 20 years ago and figured why not check them out again at my new residence. Suffice to say they may have even gotten better. George was 2 minutes early for our appointment and then told me that I don't need a new roof, just get it cleaned! No pressure, just honesty and experience. I highly recommend them!!!!

Fantastic Job and Went Extra Mile

Went with Haight after getting three bids as we got a great feeling from them. We were not disappointed - they did a great job and delivered on time, as promised. While not the least expensive we are thrilled with the result. An issue arose, probably not related directly to the roof install but discovered at that time - we had a leak feeding into our kitchen wall. Rather than debate cause, etc., Michael Haight and the crew simply dealt with it, fixed it, and did not even ask for a thank you. THANK YOU.

Our roof was less than 3 years old and replaced by the previous owner. When water started seeping around the chimney into the house this winter I called Larry Haight as they had done the roof replacement. They came out right away and wrapped the chimney, replaced the flashing, etc., and did this to determine if it was their work or a chimney issue (which is not their responsibility). David has been extremely helpful and responsive through this process, and the company hasn't charged me for any of the troubleshooting due to their awesome warranty. I highly recommend them as they stand behind their work and want to make sure it is right.

From the quote process to the scheduling, execution of the work to final result, the job was done perfectly and communication was good and easy. I dd not know what to expect and this was a very important project for us. The crew was very polite, cleaned behind them everyday and at the end of the project, and the office team helped us when I asked to have a truck come everyday instead of a dumpster in our driveway for several days. The price was reasonable and I am glad we worked with Larry Haight's company.

Fantastic company. We had severe dry rot in the flat roof of our 4 car garage. It was a massive job which required removing the entire roof, replacing engineered beam joists, replacing the roof and parapet wall, then finishing it off with an 80mil IB membrane. We spoke to close to a dozen roofers about the job, and received quotes from most of them. Larry Haight provided an estimate for the repair within a couple of days. They were towards the middle to high end of the range of quotes we received. But, the quote was very detailed and easy to understand the cost breakdown. The team doing the work was extremely knowledgeable and professional. They worked through all weather conditions to get the job done quickly before winter came. And, they were happy to explain what they were doing and go over the process any time I asked. The job was completed on time, and for the agreed to price in the quote. It's been several years now since the repair. The roof still looks and functions flawlessly. And, we couldn't be happier with the result. Our Apartment complex was to be done in one week. 2 buildings only. We lost our parking ability for nearly 3 weeks while they worked on the roofs and the employees got very rude when they were asked to move a vehicle that was blocking people in or out from the only locating that could be parked in! Do not use!
