The roof came out great. I’m very happy. I was a little nervous when they started on the back and ran out of shingles doing the front. They did find matching colors though, 4 day job. They did get carried away with all the text messages and emails. That’s why only 4 stars. I would recommend, but ask them to take it easy on the texts and emails.

From the beginning, great communication, consistent progress updates. Crew had to endure terrible weather conditions but always secured the roof in enough time to prevent home damage. Great team delivered a great product!

I worked with Christina on a project for my home. She kept me informed every step of the way. Her follow through is amazing. Made my experience an absolute breeze.

Be cautious with all the five-star reviews. We selected Lapeyre Construction for our fortified roof after reading excellent reviews. This company has many great qualities; however, we also encountered several serious issues.

First the positives. The communication is excellent; the company is easy to contact, and everyone is pleasant to talk to. The initial roof inspection was more thorough than competing companies and our finished roof looks good.

Now the negatives:
- On the first day of work, the roof crew left our backyard in a terrible state that required several hours of our time to clean. Later in the week, we also caught the crew urinating in our backyard.
- The roof work took over 11 days to complete and someone had to be at the home for a total of 6 days, requiring significant time off work. Four of the 11 days were due to the company waiting for the delivery of our AC stand (the company chose to start the work before all components were delivered).
- The roofers closed our attic's only air intake needed by our furnace. While they fixed the problem on short notice, they also charged an additional $400 to reopen a new hole, the cost of which only became clear with the final bill.
- The crew damaged several exterior sideboards and interior drywall during the roofing install.

The company fixed the damaged sideboards and drywall at no cost and considered this to be fair compensation. This left us feeling like they simply offered a credit to correct their own mistakes without addressing the time we lost during the entire process and the disrespect the crew showed to our property. In summary, although the final product appears good, the experience left us wishing we had selected a different roofing company.

If you want a Very Professional owner and company with updated technology, excellent communications skills and staying in contact with you, understanding of the VCC requirements for roof replacement in the French Quarters, Look No Further! Our S-Corporation owns property in the quarters. We needed the whole roof of 4 units replaced ,and were required by the VCC to obtain 3 bids. Lapeyre was going to be our choice. However, the BOD elected to sell the property with the roof issues, so we did not hire them to replace the roof.
I highly recommend Lapeyre in your decision-making process.

I am was very pleased with the customer service and quality of work that I experienced with Hunter and the team in installing a new Fortified roof and in working with the state program. They provided the most comprehensive review of the roof and took the time to evaluate it and make suggestions such as appropriate venting that others didn't even mention. I'm a very detail oriented person and the install was done with carefulness and attention, and they were flexible in fixing some extra items we discovered on the fly. I don't often give out a 5 start review, but they earned it. You can be confident going with them and taking care of your home.

Lapeyre Construction is a very professional company. They had a new fortified roof up within a day and left the site pristine once the work was completed. The crew was stellar- great communication as to who was doing what. Even my neighbors commented on what a great job the crew did. Communication before, during and after with members of the company was easy and clear. I had an insurance decline I was trying to meet and Lapeyre saw that this goal was met. Everyone followed through with what was agreed upon. I highly recommend this company!
