I had a roof leak in one of my tenant's spaces that no one could seem to find. It was ongoing for too long. I called Lisa and she sent a technician out in the pouring rain that day to try and find it.
They found two issues and repaired the next day. Also, their service charges for a commercial roof were very reasonable. Excellent customer service, communication and professionalism! I recommend highly!!

We had a leak from our roof into our attic and down into a bedroom closet. I called multiple places but Lane was the fastest to get back to me and even gave the best price.

We have had Lane do a ton of work on our 115 year old home. From replacing slate shingles, roof repair, chimney capping, brick repointing and capping of ALL 26 of our windows- my house looks like a new house, and I'm here for it! The workers are friendly and professional, and the owner is 100% involved in all the jobs. Scheduling was easy, and they were very flexible and accommodating of my family's busy schedule. Chris Lane roofer came out, looked at my roof, took pictures of my roof, sat down with me and described to me everything that needed to be done to my roof, the material he would use, and what ever needed to be repaired. He was professional as well as very nice.

After a call requesting an estimate, a few days later a representative arrived to thoroughly inspect our damage and prepare a detailed estimate. I received a detailed estimate a few hours later. The workmanship and professionalism of the technician was exceptional. The office staff was patient and accommodating in scheduling my repair. We originally chose Lane Roofing & Exteriors because the company is listed as Shingle Master Pros with the manufacturer of the shingles that we wanted to use.
The sales person was very amiable and professional in his interaction with his customers. The measurement phase was quickly and accurately performed. The salesperson, also, took the time to listen to what the homeowners had to say.
The office manager is, also, the scheduler for the various jobs. She listened to the homeowners and tried to schedule the work crew around the needs of the homeowners. She kept us informed during every step of the process. Follow up was very professional.
The installation crew was well supervised. The workmanship was excellent and the cleanup was great.
Even though there was a quote error (probably due to the unexpected onslaught of the COVID-19 pandemic), the company was willing to stand by the quote, which would have cost the company financially. We asked the company to requote so that they and the salesperson wouldn’t lose money. This integrity and honesty by the company is very rare and was a major factor in our choosing Lane Roofing & Exteriors.

I needed repair on my chimney after four inches of rain in one hour sent water down my chimney and through the flue door onto my laundry room floor. After indicating it could be several days because of a large volume of work, they sent a repair man out two hours later. He diagnosed the problem, and made the repairs the next day. They moved up the repair date by a week after noting that rain was in the forecast for several days in the near future. Lane was very responsive and did good work.

When the recent winds almost blew off my roof, but did more damage to my neighbors, I had to find a good roofer fast. I called many companies, and either got extremely long wait times just for an estimate, or no call back at all. Local contractor’s were not that much better, but were available with “so so” pricing and long estimated work schedules. Then I called Lane Roofing. Not only did Chris call me back immediately, but he came over on a Sunday, with a very detailed and professional estimate of damage costs, and options for both our roofs. We were given individual pricing and joint-job pricing, along with costs for some other items that needed attending to around the chimneys.. We decided to do both roofs together, even though mine had some time still left on it, as the value made it a no-brainer. We had other estimates coming in, but my intuition told me to go with Lane, and I’m Glad I did! Given the extent of damage to my neighbors roof, they moved us up in que to have the job done that week. In one day, the job was done and we have a gorgeous new roof! Such a great company to work with. Chris is so professional and quick to reply and reliable. Rhonda is fabulous and helped to schedule everything to fit our needs. She even stopped by personally to check in on things. The workers were so courteous and did an amazing job. I highly recommend Lane for all of your roofing needs.

Did a great job on my roof and followed up with an issue I was having at my Chimney. The owner came out!!

We were very happy with the job that Lane did on our house. They replaced our cedar roof with new cedar, replaced 7 skylights and replaced a stucco wall with cedar siding. They used high quality materials and the workmanship was excellent. The crew showed up early and worked long days to get it done.

Lane provided a great experience for our home. Our home was built in the 1890's and typically companies are a bit hesitant to do work on it. Lane embraced the opportunity to work on an old home and was very familiar and comfortable taking this work on. They removed our old slate roof replacing it with a metal composite while also adding insulated siding to our exterior to cover up badly damaged stucco, while keeping all the detailed facade work that makes us love an old home.

We hired Lane to both remove our previous aging home roof, and to install a new metal roof in it's place.
We were very impressed by the work ethic of the installers (on time and waiting each day, solid hard workers for the whole time they were here, polite, and did fine work). The quality of the finished product is high.
We would use this company again.

After speaking with Chris the owner he came out to look over everything and identify and address the areas of concern, Chris came out on Saturday with a crew and supervised them directly and made sure that we got the best care we could and that our leaks had been addressed, we are still unsure if we have fixed all the issues but now that he is aware of the water problem he is handling our roof himself and says that we he and his company will do what ever is required to make sure we are completely satisfied and have no more leaks.

Our 35 year old roof was leaking and sadly the time had come.
October, reviewed several recommended roofers but wasn't convinced. A church parishioner on several community boards gave a glowing recommendation for Lane Roofing and Exteriors. That Sunday afternoon, left notice on their website for an estimate. An hour later, Chris, the owner, called me. After a brief chat he said that Wayne would drop by on Monday. Having been in business for 40 years, customer service is paramount. Having the owner call me on Sunday left a strong impression, becaue that's what I would have done but few do.
Wayne called Monday morning and we met that afternoon. Thoroughly expert, Wayne instructed us on the details of the construction and their commitment to customer service. Ending our meeting he gave us an estimate and suggested we obtain other estimates.
To our surprise Lane's estimate was the 2nd lowest of seven estimates. The lowest was unreasonable and they had no history.
Called Wayne Thursday and informed we wanted to sign a contract but, due to tax considerations, we wanted to wait until after January. Wayne stopped by Friday and said that he only needed a $500.00 deposit so as not to tie up our money for several months.
Wayne informed that George, Director of Construction at Lane would be in touch.
George called and stopped by to survey our needs. We wanted new skylights and needed the chimney painted. George took measurements.
January's weather was awful and George kept checking in. Called 2nd week of February and said they would be here Thursday. Material arrived Wednesday and 7AM Thursday George and the crew arrived. All were pleasant and tidy. They expected to finish Saturday but bad weather was forcated. They covered the roof, came back Monday and finished. All the while someone was regularly cleaning up and our property looked great. George stopped by Tuesday to make sure we were satisfied.
So proud of our new roof. The skylights allow the sunlight in but keeps the heat out of the loft. And no leaks after all the snow we had.
Two weeks later, Wanda, Office Manager, stopped by to be sure we were pleased. She gave us our Warranty and received payment. That was the first time Lane received any of our money since October. A month later, Wanda called to be sure we didnr have any problems.
Surely, most are dubious of roofing contractors.

Lane has done an excellent job for us, and for everyone I know who has used them. My son had Lane replace the roof on his home about 10 years ago - they did such a good job we had Lane replace the gutters on our house about 4 years ago. There were adjustments to the gutters needed a couple of years later, which Lane did promptly as warranty work, and in the process of making the adjustments, the man who made those adjustments also cleaned all of our gutters for us at no charge. Based upon our recommendation, a neighbor down the street had Lane replace the roof on His house and was also very pleased with their work.

Our roof was leaking and so we got several quotes for a new roof. Lane Roofing came in the lowest because of a coupon I found on their website. They started before the original date they estimated and showed up on time and when they said they would. Each day, the workers cleaned up at the end of the day. The foreman would come and show me pictures of the problem areas and give me estimates for fixing/ replacing things each day. They did a great job. No more leaks and a beautiful end product.

We had a very small roofing job - replacing the roof to our front porch - maybe 50 sq ft. Also had to reroute some of the gutter. But small jobs are actually harder than big ones. Nonetheless, Lane worked us into the schedule and did a great job. Showed up exactly on time... took their time to get it right... looks great and functions perfectly. Great job!

We recently bought a property that required a great deal of updating. The roof was structurally fine, but we wanted a totally updated look and chose standing seam metal to accomplish that. Now when doing research for a metal roof, one thing you don't want is inexperience or the cheapest bid necessarily! It was also important to me to meet people in charge of the operation and know where the buck stops because a metal roof is highly skilled and intricate work and therefore an expensive proposition.

Chris gave us assurance that this project would have the correct personnel and be a high priority for his team. He gave us Rhonda to coordinate everything through who was awesome throughout! ...and We had Moses and Victor heading the job who were professional and highly skilled (how can you go wrong having Moses run your project?) And we received an excellent result in the end!

When we finally agreed that our roof needed to be done the process of locating someone to do it was a joint effort with our neighbor who was in the same spot. Lane Roofing did her roof and we were hooked. In this day and age it is hard to find someone that stands behind their work and takes pride in it. I had a 3300 sf addition roofed by lane which was not installed per manufacturer specs .
Very poor workmanship and no response at all to make the repairs the shingles have blown off in the winds and we still have a tarp on the roof .
Chris and his team do not back up there warranty or workmanship .

Great company! I was very happy with our new roof, quality and price, when it was done in 2008. We lost a few shingles in the wicked wind of March 2018 and when I called, the minor repair was done the very next day at a very reasonable price. When it comes time to re-roof in the next few years, I'll definitely be having Lane Roofing do it.

We were faced with replacing our roof unexpectedly when a chimney inspector told us we had a soft spot that needed to be repaired. A roof inspector then told us that the shingles were too old and brittle to be patched. After numerous contractors gave us heart attacks with there estimates of over 20K, Lane Roofing came over the day after Thanksgiving and did an estimate on the spot that was reasonable based on calculations I had seen on construction sites for roofs of 3000 ft2. In fact they also replaced a great deal of sheathing for a very fair price. The Thursday after Christmas they sent 6 men who finished it in 2 days just before it snowed that night. They cleaned up everything and even cleaned my gutters for me. They say it should be 100% waterproof and it looks beautiful. What more could you ask for: a fair price, fast response, and a great product. I anticipate using them again for other exterior work in the very near future. Also, it should be noted that other contractors did give us estimates close to Lane but they took a week or more just to get back to us. Lane did not keep us waiting; they treated us like we mattered.

I can't say enough about Chris Lane and his crews at Lane Roofing. They completed a challenging job replacing an old metal roof installing a new TPO roof on my warehouse. I was very happy with the results (and so were my tenants). I was so thrilled that I had them do two more my of my commercial buildings. Their pricing is very reasonable and Chris Lane is straight forward and very easy to work with. I have not hesitated to recommend them to anyone I know looking to do any exterior work.

After receiving estimates from a few roofing companies, I contracted Lane Roofing and Exteriors to install new Certainteed Landmark Pro roofing shingles, underlayment, flashing, solar skylight, and some aluminum capping along the rake of the house. They were not the cheapest but I personally know seven happily satisfied friends and family that have used their services in the past so that was a huge factor plus the fact that I preferred the Certainteed product and warranty over other shingle manufacturers.
The roofing and skylight and were completed in a single day with the capping done soon after.
The installation, crew, and clean-up was very professional, high quality, and well done.

Our roofing project was done quickly, cleanly and professionally, without the hard-core sales strategies and gimmicks we see far too often these days. You also learn a lot more about the quality of a company and its people when things don't go perfectly. After the installation and payment had past, we discovered a bend in our gutter system was clogged. Lane responded and promptly and took care of the situation. I would strongly recommend getting an estimate if the time has come for replacement or repairs.

I hired Lane Roofing after the owner came to my residence to provide me a quote for a new roof on my townhouse. As a single woman, I found Mr. Lane to be helpful, experienced, and thoroughly knowledgeable about his business. The quote was not only lower, but my roof was able to be completed in a very timely manner much to my satisfaction. I was afraid of damage that would be done from roofing materials falling from three stories above, but I was called a few days before my roof was started and told what precautions to take. I was suprised at how well the cleanup was performed. Because I have a small dog, I was afraid of nails and debris that might be left behind. I saw no sign of nails or roofing materials left behind and the big dumpster was taken away within 24 hours of my roof being completed. I would highly recommend Lane Roofing to anyone in need of roofing or exterior work.

I had hired an unscrupulous contractor to fix my flat roof and it was a disaster. I knew about Lane Roofing because I had hired them years ago to do the roof on my former home. I should have hired them again, for sure. When Mike, the roofer from Lane, came to provide an estimate and survey the damage that the aforementioned unscrupulous contractor had caused, he was patient, understanding and knowledgeable. He understood that I was not a roofing expert and needed to understand what needed to be done. Mike came with a colleague just two days later to fix the roof. I'm thrilled with his work and also with the quick responses from Lane Roofing. By the way, I called Lane the day after New Year's, which, this year, was a holiday, and Mike came anyway. The folks at Lane clearly understood how stressed I was. No more unscrupulous contractors for me. It will be Lane for all my roofing needs from now on.

This is my 2nd business experience with Lane Roofing; the later being a much more extensive roofing need of changing out our leaky cedar shingle roof to a much needed leak-proof asphalt shingle roof. The roof was a complex structured one with 4 skylights (also having leaked for numerous years). The Lane crew, quiet yet professional, came on the day as promised and stayed the course for the required 3 full days to complete the job. Throughout the 3 day process the project manager routinely stopped out each day to provide us an update and answer any questions or concerns we might have. A thorough cleanup was done, along with a next day thorough inspection from top to bottom. All in all, very pleased with experience, process and outcome.

I manage a large property in Centerville DE and this is the second time we have used Lane Roofing. We have a tiled roof which is not that common and can be tricky to work on. The guys at Lane Roofing have the expertise and skill to handle the job. This time Mike (who was running the job) stayed a couple of days longer than he was supposed to, because he wanted to be sure everything was perfect. I like that! Lane roofing is my only choice when I need work done on the property!

The daunting task of trying to find out the best person to fix our roof seemed even more difficult since we have a midcentury flat roof. After having met with several roofers and discussing options, the very wide range of prices left us more confused.
Our neighbor had recently had their roof done by Lane Roofing so I decided to give them a call and get yet another price.
The owner of the company Chris Lane came out to check out roof and give me the different options and price points I could expect to pay.
Upon meeting Chris I noticed he was not a salesman for a roofing company, but an actual worker and roofer.
He did not try to “upsell” me or give me the “roof is going to cave in any minute” speech.

What I like most was he seemed like a straight forward no nonsense kinda guy.

After several weeks of research and having Chris answer a variety of question and concerns I had regarding roof I decided to sign a contract and move forward.

Everything was very professional from beginning to end, the workers showed up when they said they would, and were very respectful while working. Not the usual loud talking and yelling profanity work crews that I am use to seeing on roofing jobs.

I would definitely recommend Lane Roofing & Exteriors to anyone looking to have roof work done. Its worth it to at least get and estimate and see what options are available.
