Richard Lamb's crew just completed a cleaning and semi-solid staining of our cedar shingle siding on our home at 117 Henlopen Ave. in Rehoboth Beach. In addition, they repainted the numerous decks and walkways around the home. They did an excellent job. The crew was extremely thorough and careful throughout the job, and were courteous as well. Price was definitely reasonable considering it was a complex job, with some high areas on two sides of the house. Definitely recommend!

Lamb’s Custom Painting surpassed our expectations! To give an idea of what was involved in painting our Schell Bros. home in Arbor-Lyn, Rehoboth Beach, we had builder’s sprayed paint on the walls that required sanding, our vaulted ceiling great room required scaffolds, and our choice of having accent walls required patience and perfection. Every one of these ‘extras’ besides the painting itself was completed to our satisfaction by Richard’s team! PJ and crew were professional, accommodating and made us feel like they were painting their own home. They moved and covered all furniture and their clean up was to our satisfaction! Because of their busy schedule, it took a while to get them here but it was well worth the wait! Highly recommend!

Lambs Custom Painting did an outstanding job painting our 1,500 square foot 3 br, 2 bath condo. I contacted Lamb’s Custom Painting for an estimate to paint our great room and kitchen. Richard Lamb (the owner) came to our house to give us the estimate. Our house is located on Henlopen Ave. in Rehoboth. It is a 1940's beach cottage with aluminum and wood siding. The siding, gutters & soffits were painted by Lamb's Custom Painting who completed the job in a timely manner. The crew was professional, did an excellent overall job, leaving no mess, paint chips or paint on surrounding bushes. All of the additional touchups were done as requested. What a wonderful company to work with, my parents needed their mobile home power washed and painted, they are both in their 90's. Lamb's did excellent work repairing drywall and water stains and then repainting two bedrooms and a bathroom. The project required sanding to remove painted stenciled patterns which they did neatly with a sander that collected virtually all the dust. They were perfectionists in repairing cracks, holes and nail pops, caulking wainscoting, and in painting the colored walls carefully around contrasting white trim. The crew was always timely and professional. We are really pleased with the work and the results.

My home owner group selected Lamb’s from eight exterior painters, and every interaction with the Lamb’s team since that decision has increased our confidence and appreciation of that decision. It was important for us to have a contractor who was responsive, dependable, and produced high-quality work consistently, and Lamb’s met each of those requirements throughout the process.

Our project was simple – repaint eight cottages the same two colors – but there was complexity in sequencing the work, balancing individual owner schedules, managing the necessary carpentry work, and working around the weather in Rehoboth. Michele was always on top of the details and communicating with us, and Mr. Lamb was regularly present to assess the quality of the work and give direction to the team. All the team members showed attention to detail, respect for the property, and interest in our satisfaction with the work.

From the first consultation, Richard and Michele went above and beyond all expectations.  A previous bad pressure washing (NOT done by Lamb's) ruined the finish on our log home, it looked hopeless.

First of all they started with a softwashing of the roof and the house.   The roof, which is 22 years old now looks new.  Neighbors wanted to know if we had our roof replaced.

Because of the unique problem of the logs, we were impressed that he called in a paint consultant to help us decide on the Product to use.  Joe, from PPG was so informative, he answered question we had for years dealing with the log finish.  He recommended a three coat process.  Richard, Joe and us agreed that this process was the best option.  We can not thank Joe enough and of course Richard for setting up the meeting.

The workers were the best, so respectful and helpful during the whole process.  We could not have asked for better workers.  They were sincere in their efforts to make the finished product the best they could do.  No request was an inconvenience for them.  I can not say enough about the job they did.  They cleaned up the work area at the end of the day.

I had water damage from a leaking tub, they repaired drywall, sanded and painted area. Did a fabulous job, fair pricing and pleasant painters! I would recommend them to anyone in need of painting. They also cleaned up area very well! Also called them back to do exterior painting, shutters and outside doors! They even do roof power washing! Looks brand new now!

My first encounter With Lamb's Custom Painting was through a contractor that I had hired to build and addition to my home. He in turn hired Lamb's to do the inside finish painting work to include all prep work such as caulking, etc., detail work around all the windows, of course prime and 2 finish coats on all surfaces - and that included a ship lap wooden wall and complete ceiling. Also included was all the inside trim painting.
Richard Lamb visited initially to look at the scope of the job and spoke to the contractor and I - and I could tell that he was a quality oriented person/company - and as the job progressed I found that to be true - they did a beautiful job that will probably last for years to come,
Subsequently, after experiencing the quality of his workmanship and workmanlike manner I hired him to completely clean my exterior including all roof surfaces - getting rid of years of dirt and mold, etc.

Richard Lamb and his team were exceptionally professional - in addition to painting, they fixed several dents in the walls and ceiling. We used them for two properties and were very happy with the results -- and would recommend them to others as well. As it was for beach properties and we weren't always around or on site, I felt extremely comfortable leaving them to their work -- they were super trustworthy and provided me with photos during their process.

We’ve used Lamb’s for multiple projects. They power-washed the roof and siding of our house and they look amazing! We had our shutters and exterior doors painted along with several interior rooms.
